- In this video we attempt to build a ATV ( QUAD ) accessory that can do three things hopefully fairly well, anyone can do this and it's very worth while to give it a go. I've always enjoyed doing this kind of thing even if i get it wrong, which happens a lot!
Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching

Anytime I watch farming videos on RUclips nowadays it’s usually people sitting on tractors talking for 20-30 mins about tractors! But this channel is a breath of fresh air, hands on approach where you never know what he’s going to do next. Your a credit to the farming world Adrian
Might I give you some unasked for advice?
Teach the girls! My Dad made me learn when I was young and all he taught me has stayed in my brain. Welding, carpentry, car mechanics, etc. It's saved me thousands of dollars and gotten me out of trouble many a time.
I did not want to be doing those things at ten years old but now I've got all those precious memories of time with my Dad.
You never cease to amaze me with your talent for making things. That’s a handy bit of kit you’re after making, Well done Adrian. 👏👏👏👏
Aye you're right, it's shocking handy and no mistake!😂
You're an Irish Mc Guyver!!
My father, a retired farmer, always said country folk think differently from city folk. It’s great to see it applies across the globe. You make do with what you’ve got and improvise if you haven’t.
Well done Adrian, very good at making that frame. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰🥰🥰🥰
Well Adrian great job on the trailer well finished. What you should think of doing is make the boom brackets quick fit. Two bit of box on the back with smaller box frame slot in and out save opening them nuts on the boom every time. Then you could have other attachments with same idea of fitting on the back 👍
11,01 dont mind that rattle can shite 1 coat of black HAMMERITE paint with the brush .Job done
There’s a saying that I have heard and I think it fits nicely for this. “Necessity is the mother of invention”. It’s a brilliant bit of kit.
I think it's the mother "OF" invention tbh.
@@CB-xr1eg well spotted buddy, autocorrect or fat fingers. Cheers
You should enter this into a Farmer's Journal/Farmers Weekly/Farmers Guardian machinery design/construction competition....
Adrian, all your other interesting videos aside, it's this kind of project that makes your channel so good.
You have made a fantastic trailer for the quad bike .
Fantastic job Adrian 👍🏆 I hope they show your videos in schools and colleges to teach young people how to improvise, recycle and still end up with a lovely piece of multi purpose equipment👍❤
I have said it before, your some man for one man, mighty bit of work, keep at her Lad!
Seriously tasty trailer.
You blow me away with almost every video.
Great stuff Adrian. Thanks for showing the storage box. Getting enquiries already for them 🙂👍 Michael
Built not bought, your a dying breed aidrean, very well done.
Fierce handy trailer you made yourself.. Have to hand it to you, your no back of a clock as they say !!
Thanks for the show Adrian
A few reusable cable ties are handy for tying up the Sprayer hose - great video
I have a similar problem with my glasses, but I've learned something now. Before I search my whole house, I check my forehead.
If u push the welder torch instead of pulling it it will leave a nicer and stronger weld because your pushing away from the heat. But tidy job done👍
Makes no sense
Brilliant job Adrian, give up the cows and start up an Engerining firm. You could make a Fortune.
That’s a proper smart little trailer👍🏼 here in Australia a good quality ATV utility trailer will run you about $3000. This is FAR better .
Your Sunday video are best content on RUclips fantastic trailer have notion building one but yours gas alot better ideas than what I was for doing. So thanks. Be very handy for bin collection out to road also
Grand job but 1 suggestion is to put a flap between the spraybar and wheels, becauuuuuse if there's drift coming towards the wheels you won't want spray on the wheels, happened me years ago with a ride on lawn mower and I destroyed the grounds I was cutting😂 there was tracks up and down the grass of dead grass, oops
This is why I subscribe, love your wee projects! So down to earth, reusing bits of steel like the real world. That’s a great multi purpose sprayer, well done on a tidy job :)
You never fail to amaze me Adrian. What a cleaver man you are what with splashing paint on black plastic to scare off the crows, restoring a hedge trimmer, old Fergie tractor this multi purpose trailer platform and all the other projects you have in hand. The good Lord blessed you with many talents. The question I have is why does it seem you never complete a project before starting a new one? Not that I am criticizing or complaining just observing.
Comment for the algorithm to help the channel 👍.
Great fabrication job Adrian. Well done, great multi use. Enjoyed watching. 👍🏼👍🏼
That is so bloody clever!!! 👏👏👏
Brilliant, love a bit of fabrication. Q the music!
Very well done to you. Is there anything you CANT do?😀Two things. That workshop bench can’t be real? No matter how I try, I cannot keep mine free! And Adrian, can you not do something about the gap on one side of the roller door🤷♂️? I have to look away every time I see it!😂
Wow what a great pare of hands you have…. Great video keep up the good work
Fancy . Looks great!
Just a suggestion I made a modification to my quad sprayer put a 12 solenoid valve on pipe out to boom and wired it to the tail light so when you switch lights on boom starts to spray the switch is on your thumb dead handy for turning etc also you can leave the pump on and system pressurised so you can use the lance with out having to manually close a valve to the boom
You're a good engineer as well as a good farmer Adrian. Well done, I always look forward to your videos.
That’s a great piece of engineering Adrian. You’re very talented. It’s such a peaceful scene, working in the yard with the quiet countryside behind you. Heaven.
Brilliant video. Very handy piece of kit. Only thing I want to add would be is I think you’d need mud guards fitted so it doesn’t spray mud up and foul the outlets of the sprayer.
Yes going to fit them this week. Badly needed
well bulid handy multy purpose trailer
👀🙄🐾👍The trailer looks very handy Adrian
Adrian, your one man for some man, that is some peace of kit great job 👏 👏👏
Well done Adrain 👏
Great video as always, always learn so much.
great wee article. I think I'd try and get some sort of mud guard on it. it'll get serious dirty.
something else id do to that trailer... ADD a small vice... the times ive needed a vice when something breaks in middle of no where this would be a good addition.
You make different items and make it seem easy.
Some serious engineering talent!
Looks a fine job Adrian
Adrian you need a few more brackets on the front and then you have somewhere to hold your plastic posts / pigtails horizontally. Great job, you’ll be dying to get out and do a bit of fencing and try her out 👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
A tip for you if you are ever putting in a steel floor in any sort of a trailer wearer it’s a bale trailer or cattle trailer or anything on all the beams it will be sitting on tec7 it down and then weld it on top and it will stop all rattling or banging off the center beams we have done this on a bale trailer and there is no noise of it at all
And also be very generous with how much Tec7 you use
Absolutely brilliant idea takes the weight off the quad completely great job 👏
Adrian, you are a talented man! I'm always amazed at the things you build and think up! ❤❤❤❤
I'm sure I've said this before, many times Adrian. You're an inspiration 😊. Great video. All I need now is a welder, some steel, paint, tyres, a boom, mud guards, nuts & bolts etc..... and an A.T.V. of course and I'm away 😂.
You love building stuff, obviously. Lucky for you to have those opportunities. Great work!
Brillant job and always thinking outside d box lad
Now that is an excellent little multipurpose trailer you’ve built. Well done indeed.
Very usefull trailer for the quad, think you should run the wire between the quad and trailer along the drawbar, that way it will not get stretched or broken when you turn.
Fantastic job Adrian well done
Well done, great video, go raibh maith agat!
Great video it is a nice bit of kit there Adrian 👍👍👍
Good job but hope you re pack your wheel bearings as the hubs would got hot from the welding .
That’s a good point, I had a little sprayer with me full of water that I sprayed onto the hub every few seconds. You can see it in the background around 1.00 or so. Otherwise yes could could burn out the outer seals for sure
The wee trailer definitely looks the part, just like yourself Adrian she’s a multi jobing, I think the yellow & green paint 🎨 job would of looked well…😎
That’s a mighty job altogether so so handy fair play to ya 💪💪💪
Great video, Adrian .thanks
Nice job Adrian, simple idea, well executed, another great video 👍
Good ideas well worked out.
Nice work. I do enjoy the making part of your videos. I do a lot of similar work myself, so great to get a few ideas.
Fair play to you on making that mighty trailer, the way you have for welding angle iron makes strong joints.
Nice tasty job don't forget the mud guards
Your so clever, and a “doer” you just get on with things. Another excellent job and I love your doggies x
Have a look at 'Tractol' paint... Sold by Clarkes of Cavan. Just painted my metal garage door in Massey Ferguson red. Greetings from Co. Longford👍🏼
You could make the boom "quick attach" using four tail-board catches.....
Especially if you change the upright pieces to angle iron.
Now iv said it before and I'll say it again in Hannibal best line.. I love it when Plan For Scrap Comes together 😅... fair play to seeing potential in anything that might be useful... Mind you does that make you a Hoarder as well 🤪😆.. stay safe 🏴
Good idea Adrian. One thing you will need to change for ease of use is the switch for turning on the sprayer as you have it on the right hand side. I use my quad for spraying and my switch I fitted on the left as that hand is free as you drive with your right hand on the throttle so left hand is free to switch on and off easily. Just a suggestion from an old fella.....at least this trailer sprayer will not be affected with the exhaust blowing the spray as I had to fit a blocker a few inches from the exhaust to cure this problem..
Great video. Very handy trailer
Mighty stuff Adrian 👍
Brilliant little multi purpose trailer, your welding skills are par excellence! Pity you don't have an electric powered spreader, something you could also use the trailer for, you wouldn't have to worry about a geared rear axle. I have seen them but not sure if they are worth the money or indeed the effort as the bin size appear to be limited. However with your skills however, might be something you could build yourself. 👍
Great video Adrian tidy job
A good job well done. Looking forward to seeing it in action in future videos.
fabulous bit of kit you have built for yourself Adrian. so useful. am sure other farmers will be wanting one too!!
Cracking little trailer, that'll be a asset around the farm ,👍
green with yellow wheels would of looked the part adrian 👌😂
great idea, i did the same as you for the wire on a much smaller scale and very light duty. it was good seeing it all ready to be used. thank you
I would have put two sleeve type sockets on the back bar of the trailer, that way you could have just lifted and slotted the boom in whenever you needed it. You could also have made the simple spindle bar with the same slot in legs for the drum of wire.
Well made
Wow. Great job of that little trailer. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I am sure you will find even more uses for it. You are craftsman and so creative. Cheers! 😊👍👍
Good video ur great with your hands
Spectacular job!
Job well done Adrian , top class .
Serious job.
The finish job looks amazing as if you bought it completed.
get one of them small car jacks and use that to keep the hitch off the ground... come in handy does small car jacks
Cracking job there Adrian great little project 👏👏
Great job
Farming, fixing and fabricating your a man with many talents. Working smarter not harder. Ya it looks like that sprayer bar should be moved farther out to work proper
Very tasty work 👏👏👏
You are amazing!
Cheers Adrian, wife has just watched this with me, more jobs on my to do list 🤦
