  • In this video we attempt to build a ATV ( QUAD ) accessory that can do three things hopefully fairly well, anyone can do this and it's very worth while to give it a go. I've always enjoyed doing this kind of thing even if i get it wrong, which happens a lot!
Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching

Anytime I watch farming videos on RUclips nowadays it’s usually people sitting on tractors talking for 20-30 mins about tractors! But this channel is a breath of fresh air, hands on approach where you never know what he’s going to do next. Your a credit to the farming world Adrian

Might I give you some unasked for advice?
Teach the girls! My Dad made me learn when I was young and all he taught me has stayed in my brain. Welding, carpentry, car mechanics, etc. It's saved me thousands of dollars and gotten me out of trouble many a time.
I did not want to be doing those things at ten years old but now I've got all those precious memories of time with my Dad.

My father, a retired farmer, always said country folk think differently from city folk. It’s great to see it applies across the globe. You make do with what you’ve got and improvise if you haven’t.

Well Adrian great job on the trailer well finished. What you should think of doing is make the boom brackets quick fit. Two bit of box on the back with smaller box frame slot in and out save opening them nuts on the boom every time. Then you could have other attachments with same idea of fitting on the back 👍

Grand job but 1 suggestion is to put a flap between the spraybar and wheels, becauuuuuse if there's drift coming towards the wheels you won't want spray on the wheels, happened me years ago with a ride on lawn mower and I destroyed the grounds I was cutting😂 there was tracks up and down the grass of dead grass, oops

What a cleaver man you are what with splashing paint on black plastic to scare off the crows, restoring a hedge trimmer, old Fergie tractor this multi purpose trailer platform and all the other projects you have in hand. The good Lord blessed you with many talents. The question I have is why does it seem you never complete a project before starting a new one? Not that I am criticizing or complaining just observing.

Just a suggestion I made a modification to my quad sprayer put a 12 solenoid valve on pipe out to boom and wired it to the tail light so when you switch lights on boom starts to spray the switch is on your thumb dead handy for turning etc also you can leave the pump on and system pressurised so you can use the lance with out having to manually close a valve to the boom

A tip for you if you are ever putting in a steel floor in any sort of a trailer wearer it’s a bale trailer or cattle trailer or anything on all the beams it will be sitting on tec7 it down and then weld it on top and it will stop all rattling or banging off the center beams we have done this on a bale trailer and there is no noise of it at all

Good idea Adrian. One thing you will need to change for ease of use is the switch for turning on the sprayer as you have it on the right hand side. I use my quad for spraying and my switch I fitted on the left as that hand is free as you drive with your right hand on the throttle so left hand is free to switch on and off easily. Just a suggestion from an old fella.....at least this trailer sprayer will not be affected with the exhaust blowing the spray as I had to fit a blocker a few inches from the exhaust to cure this problem..

Brilliant little multi purpose trailer, your welding skills are par excellence! Pity you don't have an electric powered spreader, something you could also use the trailer for, you wouldn't have to worry about a geared rear axle. I have seen them but not sure if they are worth the money or indeed the effort as the bin size appear to be limited. However with your skills however, might be something you could build yourself. 👍
