yes, although I know that the PC can never be real social skilling but only social killing. Because the time you spend in the PC is stolen from your time with real ppl iRL. And the fake PC interaction weakens your feeling for real ppl , bereave you of the super-sensible energies of live people, and of having your own human energies being received by others. I very really feel a new human lack, which was confirmed by an energy therapist. Please start study and practise socializing before you cross the line where it is hardly possible anymore, We become strange in the end,and normal ppl shy away because we become void f human energy. People like healthy people, you see, even if the deprived, sick ones are really good inside behind the social lacks.

I have autism and have struggled since around my early teens with socialising and making meaningful bonds with people and have been pretty much alone for last 12 years or so. Lack of support basically killed my girlfriend because no one was helping her properly when she was needing it (and hospitals further traumatized her). One day she met me (online through Discord), I started having a crush on her, accidentally turned into a relationship without even asking (we had to choose a date for our anniversary because our friendship slowly turned into a relationship and we had to ask ourselves "sooo... Are we dating now?" lol) aaaaand she forced me to support her because she was still extremely suicidal. She had no proper support up until then and even then I wasn't supporting her perfectly and she caused me a lot of struggle with my own happiness, quite honestly, because she just needed the support and quite literally relied on me. And I knew that if I gave up, she was definitely going to end up in a coffin, as I was the last person she could (unreliably) rely on. Honestly, some of my toughest times in my life, because I cared about her but didn't know how to support her.
Fast forward two years later, we're still together, I'm able to support her much better. Her family is also better able to support her, especially her mother. So she has more support, she is feeling way better and is fighting her hospital trauma and also actually seeking therapy... And honestly, seeing her smile is just the most beautiful thing ever. I'm also feeling happier than ever before (even if the stupid pandemic is preventing us from living together). She's a lot more stable and she has come a long way since then. Oh, and I love her far more than I ever have before.
All this pain of hers could have been avoided if she just got the support she needed from the get-go, though we would likely not have met if she did get the support. I don't know what this reply has to do with the comment, but I wrote it so take it as you will. (Also, it was complete coincidence that she lives relatively close to me because English is not our native language but we met on an English speaking Discord server lol)

You are NOT a piece of crap or garbage. You are a unique human with your own preferences, quirks, quiet achievements, feelings of failure at times, valuable habits, habits that are not so good etc. Your presence is a gift to others in so many small and probably large ways. If some people are rude or dismissive towards you, that just shows their lack of perception and lack of good manners. Be quietly calm with them. Your worth continues regardless of what they think. People just make others feel like crap because just like the cartoons, they want to make themselves feel more better about their life choices. It blows my mind on the kind of people that have tried to compared to me because I live with my parents... my own family members too. My cousin, he had his baby taken away and his wife cheats on him all the time and he calls me a peice of crap... best part, he also lives with his mom, and my mom was taking care of his son... and he calls me a peice of crap? Same thing with a friend of the family, she's a trophy girlfriend and a harlot... she only goes to her mom for money, and she's calling me a loser? Pretty much anyone who compares either has no life or they messed up their own. Anyone who compares is automatically a loser.

    Sugar addiction.
Coca-cola was always kept on hand in my household growing up. We basically drank it like water. (You could say... we were a family of "coke" addicts.. har har..)
Not surprisingly, we all grew up morbidly obese.
It wasn't until my mid twenties that I started trying to change my habits.
I've become much healthier since then, but the damage has still been done. It's still going to take a lot of time and dedication and thousands of dollars in dental and cosmetic surgery before I finally start looking like an acceptable looking human being.
Even right now, I'm struggling internally with my want to go out and get a cherry pepsi.
Don't let this happen to you or your kids. Drink water, eat well, use portion control, and make sure you're exercising.

@@albertgeorgy6827 Its not that i didn't or have stopped trying.. I'm the perfect example of the conditions talked about in this video. My lack of work ethic mixed with my mental illness makes it so that even if i push through the mental pain of not wanting to work i then get physical symptoms such as sweating so much it looks like i just swam laps in a pool even my shoes start to fill with sweat, no amount of gold bond that i can afford stops this. I also break out in a rash and get these strange bumps all over my hands particularly between my fingers, imagine thousands of painful zits forming all over including your balls, asshole, and taint. So to the point even in the rare event someone lets me work for them i break down in physical pain whether i be lifting stuff in the back room or working at customer service or being a states youngest ever elected mayor. But as people point out "how can you be so aware of your problems yet not fix them" which is why i never get social security because i don't pester the police, i don't make a scene. I use public facilities to bathe. So i don't eventually get sent to the psych ward for just standing their blank eyed for weeks. Because I fit a fucked up niche in this world, I'm the story of how you can still come from wealth, a good family, have all the benefits in the world, but between mental illness and poor choices anyone can end up on the streets. I was quite the hedonist before my life turned around, and was very grateful that I never became addicted to any of the substances I used on a regular basis. I drank, smoked, popped pills, dropped acid, ate mushrooms, snorted cocaine, smoked crack...thankfully, I never cared much for the stimulants. I did not like being "up" for so long like speed and cocaine made me feel; I preferred, psychedelics and depressants.
Anyway, _real_ smokers hated me. I didn't smoke on breaks or at lunch and couldn't even stand the smell of cigarettes in the morning. I pretty much only smoked when I was drinking or smoking weed. So when I finally gave it all up, it wasn't that difficult (I was off and on different things for years). That was about 6-7 years ago. Well, in 2020, I was diagnosed with a blood disorder that made me extremely fatigued. Some days, I was sleeping 12-16 hours in total and was still tired. I began monthly chemotherapy treatments in April 2020. One thing I began doing to try to combat the fatigue was vaping nicotine. It worked. It didn't smell or taste awful and I could do it whenever and wherever I wanted.
HOWEVER...after all the drugs and chemicals I had put in my body, _this_ was the one I became dependent on. Labor Day week this year I decided to quit, and it was miserable! Lol! It took weeks for the cravings to subside, and for the first part of that period, I was depressed, agitated...just awful. I'm glad I quit, but I wish I had never started.

It’s extremely hard to have both conditions, let alone at the same time. But ya have to make yourself do things. Anything. I still struggle with doing some daily tasks. It doesn’t help that I’ve been a procrastinator all my life.
But life is worth living. I mean meaning to live. Living life to as full as you are capable of really does relieve stress.
I call it a counter addiction. It works!
On another note; the black box on his shirt was hilariously distracting. 😆

This is actually happend to me when i was 13, i was so addicted to online games because my mother died and no one is there to support me mentally, i spent my whole week on gaming without a proper sleep and also i nearly stopped studying at that time, i was just trying to find a bit of happiness that time. Eventually i realised that i'm destroying my life and my financial. I do have a bad social skills at that time, what i did was to observed some extroverts how they socialize and implemented it to myself. Eventually up until now i'm still kicking and alive and also i never stopped playing games i just toned it down to 3hrs in weekdays and sometimes 48hrs in weekends 🤣🤣🤣

That's why I don't have credit cards and I don't buy things I don't need. I've tried to have a social life, but that doesn't work out because everyone I've ever had in my life wants nothing to do with me and I'm ok with that. I am never lonely being alone, I embrace it. No interruptions or distractions from my thoughts is awesome. A successful relationship doesn't always equal happiness. The biggest disappointment is working all your life until you are able to retire, but by then you're too old to enjoy it. So, what are you working for?

Thanks for sharing your very important content of the ways that we humans can mess up our lives! I’m sure it will help more people than you ever considered! You made some very important points and I can’t be smug! I myself have a really big problem with procrastination and putting unpleasant tasks off, out of all the things you listed, that’s the one thing I struggle with. The pandemic has led to a huge spike in mental health issues due to social isolation. I’m lucky enough to have 2 awesome cats to comfort me and I have never had a problem with my own company. It helps to have a lot of interests and hobbies. I’m looking forward to getting your book cause I love to read. I would recommend that people join clubs and groups, especially support groups. There’s one for everything you can think of. If someone is having trouble emotionally, therapists are great. Worth every penny. Instead of hiding from problems by engaging in risky behavior and poor decisions, read a good self help book or one that seems to cover an interest. The “high” won’t last and the individual really will be chasing that addiction. Some people are even addicted to approval and that can also be very unhealthy. I apologize for rambling on, but your video was really excellent and I wanted to thank you. I’ve been subbed to your channel since you first got started. You’re one of my favorite people on RUclips; and, yes, you are a handsome man with a very impressive mustache!! But even more impressive is your wit, intellect and personality. I've been lonely my entire life, and the pain and terrible impacts on your life and well-being are exactly as you describe. As I grew older, I realized it was due to a severe lack of emotional intelligence. This resulted in never forming healthy relationships, friendships, etc.. I married a woman who I knew had issues, but it addressed the loneliness a bit. She was actually similar to me in many ways, but she was very financially irresponsible, nearly bankrupting us several times. While I have at least always tried to be financially responsible myself, the stress of those financial hardships took a tremendous toll on me. I had a near fatal heart attack at 45. We divorced 5 years ago, and while I have improved slightly, I still suffer from the same lack of emotional intelligence, which in turn manifests itself in poor social skills and an inability to make friends. Although I don't believe I have a natural inclination for addiction, it is a never-ending battle to limit the intake of substances that provide temporary from the pain, their short and long term effects again exactly as described here. Amazingly well-done and thoughtful video. You chose your handle perfectly, sir.

Seriously, consider the words of Robert Heinlein He makes more sense than most on this topic:
"There is no reward at all for doing what other people expect of you, and to do so is not merely difficult, but impossible. It is easier to deal with a footpad than it is with the leech who wants "just a few minutes of your time, please-this won't take long." Time is your total capital, and the minutes of your life are painfully few. If you allow yourself to fall into the vice of agreeing to such requests, they quickly snowball to the point where these parasites will use up 100 percent of your time-and squawk for more!
So learn to say No-and to be rude about it when necessary. Otherwise you will not have time to carry out your duty, or to do your own work, and certainly no time for love and happiness. The termites will nibble away your life and leave none of it for you.
(This rule does not mean that you must not do a favor for a friend, or even a stranger. But let the choice be yours. Don't do it because it is "expected" of you.)”

Probably a good sign to be fearful or death (as weird as that sounds). Either means that you are happy with what you have and want to keep enjoying it as long as possible, or that you are hopeful and engaged about the future and what you can enjoy and do.
I'm not scared of dying specifically but the idea of not having a wide experience of live and being satisfied by what I've done scares me. But it's very easily possible to do that while still being alive. So how alive are we if we're just going through the motions and not engaging with what we do, or doing any of the things we want to? Without that we're just wasting time I think. So I think I know what you mean.

Actually, video games and internet usage are just two of the many things that some people become addicted to. My dad was a recovering alcoholic who had 40 years of sobriety when he passed away. In the latter half of his life, he had a second career as a counseling psychologist specializing in the treatment of addiction. He told me that one of the things he learned was that it seems as though it's possible to become addicted to almost anything. One of his clients was addicted to reading. If this guy picked up a book and started reading while getting ready to go to work, he would not make it to work that day.

I never thought I was an alcoholic when I was younger. I didn't drink often (or so I thought) but when I did, I drank ALOT. Which then made me want to smoke alot. It was a vicious cycle that just made depressed, drink, feel good for a title, then depressed again. It got to the point my heart health and obesity was worsening. I then decided to go cold turkey with giving up drinking and in turn assisted in giving up smoking, all cold turkey. It sucked, but dammit I didn't want to go back. Nearly 2 years later i have been sober and smoke free and I have no regrets giving it up. I strongly encourage those giving up an addiction to not give up. Please don't give up for your health and your loved ones.

It's VERY expensive to construct a house, so they are valued highly. The price is high because the costs to produce it are high.

Another thing is “who are your friends”. This has a huge impact on your life. Often people do not select their friends, but rather just become friends with people who happen into their lives. And people seldom choose to terminate existing friendships that are negative or wasted influences on their life

instead of being afraid of people, realize that they learned to stop expecting (because of the letdowns) that they'd criticize. anyone who would persist without encouragement or concurrability to expect would have problems of their own which they might be expressive about to find gratification from enduring the burden of elaborating uncompromisingly (which led to fixation of or about involvement enough to not notice other things and opportunities because of it.)
(opportunities we'd want and critiques we can [finally] be settled amidst [figuring having found comparisons that keep us abstractly unurged about reminders.])

Cant keep a job for long time everytime my view in life from my loneliness crashes against reality then makes me emotionally unstable at times. Spend nights drinking and smoking alone but all this is gunna make you feel more disconnected from the world. Shit i recommend to start feeling included in things even if your not that helps a lil bit with feeling disconnected with people. I also feel better when i go for a run helps clear mind and just say hello to everybody you see will kinda take that empty feeling out but im still working on it
