81 year old lady and just sprayed our front yard with the rechargeable Scott professional sprayer. My son boohooed my spending the money but those hand pump sprayers were killing me. WOW! So worth the money. Fast, efficient and LOVE it. Doing the side yards tomorrow and the back yard Saturday. Would do them today but have to mop and clean bathrooms.
Patricia! I love it. The battery really saves the arm, shoulder, and time! I like the pump ones for weed killer to spot spray the lawn and driveway cracks and use my battery for plant food and lawn food. Get those bathrooms done and get back out there! I LOVE IT!
I admire you for DIY spraying at your age. I'm 73 and maintain my own yard and hope to match your stamina and fortitude. I can tell you're not a Gen-Zer. 😁
@@DadStuff247 Yes, Patricia. I admire her. I know two women like her, but they're nowhere near her age. One is 63 and the other won't tell me, but I think it's around 60-63. I may have to order a Carbon-14 test kit to find out. 😛

Sprayer's Plus 105Xe is my latest buy and I really like it. Yes, I recommend it highly. 4 gal, battery operated and designed for using. Function over form if you will. So very glad I took the time to do diligent research and bought the best one.
I bought a battery powered Ryobi backpack sprayer and have had a good experience so far. Just need some warmer weather to try it out again. Thanks for posting the great videos!
I just ordered the Petra 2000. My first battery sprayer for my small yard. I ‘may’ need one refill but if so I’d rather have less weight on my back. Thx again!
Had a manual sprayer. Tried out the green one from big box store and that was a toy as the pickup tube was so small and had the tiniest filter with the worst pressure. Then say Doc with the My4sons sprayer. The My4sons has great pressure that's adjustable, filter at the bottom, doesn't leave product in the tank, detachable hose, etc. Charges last long. Only sprayer to get.
I just bought a My 4 Sons M4 sprayer and used it today. It is the first electric pump one I've had. I have several likes, but the first one is generic. I love the electric pump. It allows me to spray consistently as the pump keeps the pressure constant. The spray pattern on the nozzle I chose sprayed a wider area because of the pressure. It made my day go faster! But seriously, why so many nozzles types? I guess I'm gonna have to try them all to find out.
Yes, the my 4 sons is a beast! I don't know what all the tips do but i like the metal ones that's for sure. I'm curious to see which one is your favorite!
My4sons FTW 🙌. I couldn’t tell you how many people I’ve recommended that sprayer to. You didn’t mention it but my main reason is how cheap and available replacement parts are. Eventually the battery and pump will fail on all of them. My4sons is the cheapest by far to replace. The others you may as well buy a whole new unit
This is good news, because I went with My4Sons. Buying parts to fix something is better than throwing it away and starting over. Heck, if I did more research, I could probably find the motor, pump and battery elsewhere. Batteries are expected to fail, but they're easy to get. Just need the right form, voltage and capacity.

I have another battery operated sprayer shoulder strap style but I don't recommend. The batteries go dead quickly and it has serious clogging issues along with leaking issues etc. ( It was in the $40 - $50 range)

I'm been rocking the 2 gallon field king which works well for my lawn size. I do wish it had consistant pressure though. Wish there was a Cadillac 3 gallon sprayer available. Good video Clint.
My 4sons with 100 psi. Or if you are covering a lot of surface, my go to sprayer is the hd5000 by petra which is not in this video. It comes with the spray gun and a 6.5 gallon tank on a cart or you can take it off the cart. Been using it for 2 years with no problems.
Does these also come with a straight stream nozzle and what is the distance? I am looking to use this for a cedar shake roof with sodium percarbonate and need to reach the roof peak without walking on the roof.
I have but not with glyphosate. I use a separate 1 gallon for that. Everytime I use a sprayer I run water throughout the whole system so it is fresh for the next use. Now that i have a few sprayers I have one for herbacide and one for fertilizer. I feel that is the best practice. When I had only one and used a herbacide I only mixed enough so I didn't have it sitting in the tank. I feel when you let it sit it absorbs into the plastic.
Honestly the LT Pro petra is nice because it has the smallest battery making it the lightest. But build quality you can't beat the my4sons. It's personal preference.
