Typhoon VS Cyclone --- Well I have learned the hard way in life! I am looking for a new sprayer and I will likely pick the TYPHOON. Why? Because When I purchase manufacturing equipment I always lean towards the " Industrial " model over the so called " Home " version as the Industrial models will likely have better / stronger components. The Typhoon creates more pressure = requires stronger parts to handle the upgraded abilities. Thank you for the video.
On the Typhoon 3, is it easy to switch out, completely rinse out incompatible chemicals; for example if I need to spray herbicide and then change it out to spray fertilizer after that?
Hopefully, Flowzone improved or eliminated the vibration you feel in the trigger handle. The vibration comes from the pump and transfers to the hose, trigger handle, and wand. If you use this sprayer for lawn of 5000 sf or more that vibration transfers to your hand too. Also, I wish these Flowzone sprayers had a stay-on switch so that you could turn it on while spraying a large area and not have to hold the trigger down the whole time.
Thanks, after viewing several I went with the Cyclone Gen3 off Amazon. Homeowner, weed and insect spray, I’ll use granular fertilizers. 1.9 acres. Might buy a Chapin boom and trailer this, build the hose to connect to a Chapin boom
Great review. I have this one on the way that i got using a Labor Day sale , so got for around $260 or so with free shipping couldn't pass it up ; especially since my older battery sprayer was on the way out. I just have a few questions , is there much assembly ? and do you still need an adapter to use TeeJet tips or no considering they have "TeeJet style" tips included now. Other concern is some people complain about not knowing the pressure settings with that dial , so have to guess or calibrate and write it down ; wasn't sure if you were able to figure out the PSI for each setting yet.
Excellent video thank you very much for showing the comparison of the two models. I am curious as to which one would have the furthest reach as I am a homeowner, and I use it to spray my roof from a ladder. I sprayed my roof with a product called wet and forget to remove algae. Does the typhoon have a significant difference in reach?
I have no problem with ferts or bio-stims with the Cyclone. If you need to spray trees go with the Typhoon. The replacement battery is considerably more $ for the Typhoon vs Cyclone.
How far does the fine mist nozzle spray if you put the Typhoon on the highest pressure setting? I have lilacs that I spray for powdery mildew (so I need a really fine spray that will cover the whole leaf) that I need to get up to ?15? feet or maybe a little bit more. Would that work?
Hey Jimmy! Somehow I was unsubscribed 😐 What setting on the dial do you use for foliar and what setting for getting product into the soil? I did just buy the blue tip setup. And is there any combinations of bio stims that we can’t mix together? Thank ya
Once you do, you will hate yourself for not getting one sooner. It’s definitely an investment. I looked around in my garage and attic and found quite a number of things I don’t use or no longer need and sold that stuff on marketplace and used that money to help buy mine.
@@Mason-RRCdefinitely right my yard is only 2500 and I used a hand pump for 2 years until I decided to upgrade. I kept my hand pump sprayer for spot spraying weeds
Lessons learned...DO NOT BUY Flowzone. I bought aTyphone in June 2021. As a DIY home-owner, I used it 6 times in the last two years and it stopped working. I followed the company's troubleshooting video and found out its circuit board broke. The company offers a one-year warranty on such a fragile product. Stay away.
you were right@@clbo9878 Flowzone is not the only sprayer on the market either. Future buyers need more data points to decide if they want to consider other options.
I use mine for work. The last 2 generations have lasted me about 13-15 months each. I had the first machine and it was much better in every way than the newer ones
My Typhoon quit working during my 3rd yr. Haven’t had a chance to get into it so I just purchased the Cyclone 3. Love it just as much.
Very helpful information. Thanks for sharing!

Does it come w/ battery and recharger or do I need to buy these separately?
It is included
Great instructional video Sensei!!!

Thanks man this was a perfect video. ❤

Yes I believe so
can i use this as a water feed for a another cordless power washer to attach to it?
I have no problem with ferts or bio-stims with the Cyclone.
If you need to spray trees go with the Typhoon.
The replacement battery is considerably more $ for the Typhoon vs Cyclone.
You can buy an adapter kit for batteries like Dewalt that will fit the typhoon
Best investment anyone can make if you do your own applications. I have the cyclone 2.5 for my 2500 square foot yard.
Same here. Make lawn care a lot of fun .
I’m stuck. I don’t know what to go for. I do structural perimeter pest control.
What is the best nozzle to use for the typhoon 3 to spray fertilizer? I just got mine today.
Have the typhoon 2.5 I love the thing.. wondering what dial # u use for fertilizer applications just curious. Great vid as always 👍🏼

@@JimmyLewisMowswhat nozzle are you using at a 5?
I'm purchasing a typhoon for lawn spraying along with a lesco gun. Should I go with the typhoon 3 or cyclon 3?

Does anyone know when a new generation will be coming out to replace the Typhoon 3?
Do you know when these will be back in stock?
Will the battery interchange?
Yes

How loud are they?
Could I spray in a suburban yard (houses within 40 feet) after 10 PM?
Very quiet, you shouldn’t have any issue
Dang. Was hoping this was a “Giveaway” video, or at least a coupon code. 😉 Great video! One day I’ll have the cyclone for my own.
So i cant use the cyclone for fertilizer application?
yes it will work fine
Y did u stop reel mowing ur front lawn? It still looks great but it used to look like astroturf,
Thanks. I went over that in this video:

Is it good to treat mosquitoes with ?
Yes. And, they just recently released a fogger.

@@JimmyLewisMows amazing is scion a good product to use for mosquitoes I know it lasted up to 75 days
What nozzle and setting are you using to spray broad leaf weeds?
Typically I'll use the 20° nozzle on the lower setting for weeds.
still cant justify spending on a battery sprayer. Maybe one day
Worth every penny.

Interesting, mine has treated over 10k lawns with 0 issues.
I use mine daily for about 6-8 hours. They are the best on the market. You just got unlucky.
These things are always out of stock.
I got a Ryobi. Just as good and lot cheaper
