Hey buddy - just want to give you a shout out for building a 320K subscriber channel all by yourself. You are literally the biggest snooker youtube channel in the world. Amazing work
You’ve got it all mixed up, you massive Berkeley Hunt!! The people with the channels give the shoutouts, not the nobody idiots in the crowd! Where have you been for the past 20 years? Anyway, shoutouts are for 12 year olds. But 12 year old who are actually more successful at RUclips than you are (not a particularly high bar, I’ll grant ye).
Hello there! I hope this message finds you well. wanted to reach out as a big fan of videos and express my admiration for your incredible talent and expertise in the game of snooker. Your videos have always been a source of inspiration and learning for me. I have been practicing snooker for quite some time now and I have a strong passion for the game. I believe that mastering all the usual snooker shots is crucial for any player looking to improve their skills and understanding of the game. With that in mind, I had an idea that I believe would greatly benefit snooker enthusiasts like myself. It would be absolutely fantastic if you could create a comprehensive video showcasing all 100+ usual snooker shots that players need to play and practice. The video could cover a wide range of shots, including pots, cannons, and positional play, among others. In particular, as an Indian fan, I believe many snooker players here would greatly benefit from such content. Snooker is steadily gaining popularity in India, and having a resource like this would undoubtedly be invaluable for players of all levels. Once again, I want to express my appreciation for your outstanding content and talent. Thank you for considering my suggestion, and I look forward to continue enjoying your amazing videos. Best regards, Mithun Sharma
Hello, love your videos. Could you possibly point me in the right direction of the best place to replace my brass ferrule for a titanium ferrule please
A good example of how strong to grip the cue is to think of it like a tube of toothpaste and don't grip it strongly enough that you'll squeeze out the toothpaste.
GTKommissaR uploaded a Video on very Rare Shots and Flukes. Obviously most of them are insanely lucky and quite impossible to recreate. But id love to see you still give them a go for a few tries to get as close as possible to the original and show, HOW rare they actually where. And i think few of them are actually recreatable! Cheers from Germany
Just being honest guys. I’m not mad I paid $100 for it but most of the video is Alan asking Ronnie to perform shots and Ronnie just getting down and making them and not explaining anything of substance about how he planned the shot or set up for it or how he executed it. If you have a 100$ to blow then go for it but if you’re a half decent player to begin with you won’t learn a single thing. The pov was cool but they only use it a couple of times. It would’ve been better if they used it for the whole video.
@break from life if you try to make a lot of back spin, your shoulders, arms etc are so tensed that your timing is way of. Ronnies timing stays perfect.
Have you watched it all? Is it worth the money? This seems like a plug rather than a review. Be good to see what you really think of it. Is it for beginners or any level?
I’ve seen all of the first 6 episodes. It is does have advice for beginners but Ronnie also explains the way he plays the game all the way through. Ronnie goes through mostly everything about his technique as well. You can see the first episode for free so you get a good idea of the course intentions
@@standupgags Haters gonna hate. Of course, standupgags on RUclips is definitely qualified to judge Ronnie's, Alan's and a top filmmaker's ability to produce a snooker video course. I've signed up and I think it's just wonderful to have Ronnie going through everything you can think of for hours.
The website literarlly says “Right after leaving your email, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Please click the “Confirm now” button in this email. Don’t get confused as you‘ll end up on this website after clicking the button; we received your confirmation.” For me it worked perfectly fine, I received the password and watching episode 1. The quality is unmatched from what I've seen in the first 20 minutes, really fun to watch.
No doubt Ronnie is the best player ever to pick up a cue ,but I wonder if he covers etiquette of the game and how he treats people ,like entering the last last 6 events and then pulling out of 4 them at the last minute because he’s not in a good place or is tired .Now before everyone jumps all over this ,there’s no problem Ronnie not playing in all tournaments,he’s earned the right to choose what he plays in at his age after all these years ,but to pull out and not play the day before when people have spent there hard earns cash to watch him is poor to say the least ,he then has gaul to turn up to the same event for punditry on Eurosport .Ronnie seems to choose his anxiety and depression to suit his mood at the time .
Well if you really really wanted to learn from the man himself, 147$ is such a small fee to pay for. That is of course if you're trying to be competitive and play in tournaments

Something I don't like about this. It reeks of capitalism. Ronnie trying to make money off his standing (the best players are not necessarily the best teachers), his agents touting the "method" out to snooker channels, and now BFL taking a pay-out to promote it. I'm not saying I would do any different if I had the opportunity to make money and I guess it is just the way the world is, but I don't like it.
These are the comments I really don’t understand. Making money with good products is not a bad thing! To produce such stuff with Oscar-nominated directors etc. costs a lot of money. We, as snooker fans, should appreciate such projects and spend our money on it. Nowadays, young men spend their money on dumb OF creators, but think such a wonderful show is somehow evil. Remember guys, you’re voting more with how you spend your money rather than at the ballot box. I love snooker and I’d like to live in a world in which Ronnie makes money through his snooker course, streaming services make money through offering great films & series, and OF girls go broke because these are the people that offer no value and rip people off.
@marcb1941 I appreciate your point, and by no means do I think anything "evil" is happening. Certainly not by Ronnie or BFL. I just don't like the way this sort of content has to be consumerised. It's not natural. That's a political view rather than an attack on people who are living within that system. As I said, I would do the same if I had the opportunity.
They were already selling subscriptions from WC '23. They then missed the initial launch (Aug or Sept '23, I forget). They have so far only released a portion of the content - remainder was initially promised for release in "mid-November / early December". It has now been updated to January '24 apart from the next couple of episodes due tomorrow (I'm not holding my breath that we'll get them). Also, the wankery about high fidelity cinematography and Oscar-nominated direction is somewhat watered down by the fact that the videos have been compressed to 2 Mbps bitrate, which by today's standard is an absolute joke. The whole thing has a very money-grabby feel to it.
A totally pointless video, especially seeing as all of these points have been covered by Break from Life, Stephen Hendry, Michael Holt, Barry Stark and BartonSnooker... and they're all free!!!
If people want to pay to see the best of the current era showing how he does it, why not? If this channel can make some money from it, why not? Should we all only look at the Joe Davis book?
@sharpvidtube I don't see how any of that is relevant. My point was that the video has no real value. I never mentioned anyone making money from it, consumer freedom or the merits of bygone players' coaching methods compared to those of current players.
