Hi Timgirl, The odds are huge. Usually about 1% of people will listen. So if you share with 100 people, one person will listen. It might be the 10th person or the 73rd. You never know. Just keep going :o))

Abrahma works did not impress God; but the moment he BELIEVED was it then imputed to him for righteousness/rightness. This means that NOW the Spirit will bring to fruition what you beleive of the word of God. What did Abraham believe? He believed God would raise Isaac from the dead, that God might establish His Covenant with Isaac and an everlasting Covenant with his seed after him which is Christ. If Abraham didn't offer up Isaac God could not have fufilled HIs Word. Remeber Romans 4: says ACCORDING TO THE FLESH Abraham was NOT justified before God. And the fact that Abraham BELIEVED GOD Abraham did so in that he offered up Isaac, this is confirmed here > Hebrews 11:17-19 Now as for spirtual salvation James is NOT ADRESSING THAT, NEITHER WAS HE AN APOSTLE TO THE GENTILES
edwah joshua You're right! James is not an apostle to the Gentiles. He's writing to the 12 TRIBES scattered abroad. He's not writing to the Body of Christ. Glad you picked up on that edwah.
The LORD made this known to me over forty years ago. You won't read James Peter or John teaching about the Body of Christ > 1Corinthians 12:12-13 as does Paul. If you pay close attention James Peter and John go in and out of the things of the law. When they speak of the law and grace its like shirt and sweater, not just grace as did Paul. Paul when ever he spoke about the law, it was to be shunned not embraced. >Colossians 2:16-23, Galatians 1:6-8, 5:1-6. If one doesn't hold to this RULE, A NEW CREATURE, he WILL RESORT TO THE DEEDS AND WORKS OF THE LAW AND is off line with the finished work of the Spirit realized at Baptism INTO CHRIST > 1Coritnhians 12:13 A NEW CREATURE > Galatians 6:15-16, Philippians 3:14-17, beloved
