I really should have started getting my mini-schnauzer used to being combed and brushed when I first brought her home at 8 weeks. She gets so antsy now that most of the time the groomers (Petsmart) can't finish the job.
Thank you for your comment and for watching - yes you can help your groomer by combing daily, playing with her feet and running clippers over her body even if you aren't using them to cut her hair. Thank you!
I actually had a problem at a local groomer where they were abusing my dog and causing massive pain (I walked in and saw it happening) so ever since then I've been really careful who I drop my dog off with and I stay and watch the first groom. Just a thought if she's showing signs of being scared or extremely nervous. I've actually heard BETTER things of Petsmart since their windows are clear and there's nothing that can be hidden when they groom. From one schnauzer-lover to another!
