I’m only part way through the video, but OMG, this is so sweet and adorable and educational. This could be an ASMR video. Ann is amazing and Charlie loves being groomed. This is a testament to Shawn and the time she puts into socializing her puppies. If in doubt, watch other grooming videos where the dog is terrified of the sound of running water, much less the clippers, the sound of scissors and the professional dryer. Their shaking and panting breaks your heart. It took me six hours the first time I groomed my adopted dog, but we eventually and happily got through it and he ended up enjoying the process. No such issues here. Charlie is happy and peaceful. What a blessing for him and me!
Shawn, thank you so much for producing this video. I certainly will be able to follow Ann’s guidance to groom Charlie in a few months when needed (I owned a salon for 10 years…whoever else is reading this). Your puppies and your kindness in providing this is so very appreciated. I don’t know of any other breeder that provides such detailed information, regarding their puppy, for their clients. It’s great for the puppy’s transition, and phenomenal for the new family.

Anne is so good with those pups; they all love how gentle and loving she is. She does beautiful work too (as well as giving them a puppy massage afterwards)! Either cut, teddy bear or traditional, these little doggies are adorable!

Yes! Charlie is a wonderful Teddy Bear and so huggable and cuddly - even the flight nanny today said he was enjoying snuggling with Charlie!
Looks like a poodle, but still adorable puppies and she was so thorough and gentle. I think that the traditional schnauzer cut is the only way to go.

Charlie and Honeybee in the teddy bear cut is so adorable. I think certain schnauzer colors tend to favor the teddy bear cut and others look better in the traditional schnauzer cut. I think both of mine look better in the teddy bear. When I first heard the squeaky toy I thought one of my dogs was making the noise!🤣🤣
Yes! I agree with you! When I hear that squeaky toy I laugh because Franklin loves it and it was his mom who sent those to us so I will be sending them home with him 😂😭😂🐶❤️
Thanks for posting this. I have always appreciated the skill and artistry of Anne and other groomers--but even more so now that I have begun attempting to groom my own puppy! I keep him fluffy so my lack of skill is less obvious--the fluff is very forgiving! I know it will take practice--and, perhaps, a grooming table--it's hard to do it on the floor, as I've been doing. Maybe he'll stay still better up on a table too.🙂I love the teddy bear style on schnauzers and I think it suits Charlie and Honeybee so well! And I loved seeing the other puppies--it's so fun to see them playing.

@@svccschnauzers I have watched some of the grooming videos. My 6 mo old has only had one groom and it wasn’t a very good one. I asked for a traditional schnauzer face and one length on all the body. I noticed after I got her home, they didn’t even touch her ears. They are still bushy and look like big black bat wings! I wanted close cut ears like rest of body.
@@svccschnauzers I’ve been meaning to ask, what do you recommend for inside the ear? Although mine checked out fine at all her puppy appointments with the vet, I detect that yeasty smell in one ear. I asked about it and they said you have to pluck them. I wasn’t so sure I wanted to start that.

Oh, my, that cute puppy pile in the dog bed towards the beginning of the video gave me a tickle. 😊The grooms look great!!! Ann is excellent. I like both style cuts. It depends on the pup. I always used curved scissors on feet, too. Us humans are creatures of habit and tend to do what we originally learn. I had an awesome groomer and always chose “expedited” groom-which means your dog is never caged. She also let me stay and observe. Most groomers don’t allow that. It costs more but it gave me peace of mind. Yep, I was a helicopter dog-mom.😉😉😉
