I was going to say this too!!! And her voice is so calming. Lucky dogs prob are just as calmed by her voice. My pup is terrified of trimmers, and I can’t seem to get him conditioned to the noise yet. Nothing I try has worked. Hence why I am here and found this

Thank you so much for all the detail to grooming your doggy!
I have groomed my Lhasa Apsa for 8 years and Your video encourages me! I have trouble doing his feet as he is so protective of his front feet!
But as I do him in stages , as he will only sit for me for 39 minutes or so! But he gets breaks and 30 minute sessions! Body, back end, tummy face! About four sessions! Face requires hand cutting ! Ears hand cutting! Lhasa’s have layers of hairs d their hair mats!
! So patience for both of us is a requirement! But we make it positive and he likes his treat at the end of each session! Grooming can cost a lot, but it does help to get a professional grooming once in a while!

You have been an inspiration for me. I have three poodle mix babies. I started learning to groom my babies at home. I would send them to be groomed professionally but never got the cut I wanted for them and they would come back so stressed out. I tried it three times with the professionals; then decided to do it myself and they love it when I do it at home. Your videos have been very informative and so well instructed thank you so much. Keep it up don’t stop.❤

So many of the other groomers were rough and I did not like that. Sweet Tea was not jumping around the table either, which shows she appreciated the gentleness too. Thanks so much! I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing this video. I have been grooming my Goldens, morkie, and yorkie for years after being so disappointed in how groomers were grooming them. I have been "winging" it as I have no training (except for a workshop on Goldens 25 years ago). It never occurred to me to look on RUclips because I was so used to doing it and even though it was far from perfect, they looked cute. It finally occurred to me with the new arrival of a cavapoo. I watched your video twice, taking notes the second time through so I could follow the steps. It is going to take a few sessions and a few months to fix what I did prior to watching your video, but I am so happy with your video!! For the first time I wasn't "winging it" and hoping it would look okay even though I didn't know what I was doing. Seeing how you were holding the pup to aid in getting a smooth appearance was so helpful! The first time I did it before taking notes and made some mistakes. This morning I re-did it using my notes and am thrilled!! I can only improve from here - thank you again!

I have a darling 2-year-old black toy poodle. I have some grooming experiences a veterinary technician and I'm attempting to improve on the puppy cut. Unfortunately, the leather on one of his ears didn't all form and the ears have very sparse hair and it's very fine. If I try to blend the ears into the dome and face it looks okay and there's nothing I can do to improve it unless you have any suggestions for me. You are a great groomer.

@@GoGroomer, I only groom my own dog who is a cavapoo. His name is Buddy and he is a red boy who is 17 months old. Sadly we lost our Llashapoo Molly 10 weeks ago due to old age, we’d had her from 8 weeks and when we lost her she was 15 years old. We and Buddy miss her so much. Ive been watching your videos for a long time and when we got Buddy and had two dogs to be groomed , I bought a pet Powersonic vac. There has been many mistakes but I’m getting better with each groom. Like you when I groom Buddy, its an all day thing with lots of breaks. Once again, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. X

So adorable and good camera work. It's so helpful. I would love to see a whole video on how to do the mustache. I struggle with it. I have a Havapoo, so he has both wavy and curly hair. I want that adorable smiley muzzle look. Not sure how to make it full? Thanks Amy!

Are blending shears and chunkers or thinning shears the same? You mention using the blending shear on Sweet Tea's face - are those different than chunkers and thinning shears? Trying to gather the tools necessary to begin grooming our dog ourselves.

You are an awesome teacher. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us how to groom a dog. You make it look so easy. I have a biewer Yorkie that hates to go to the groomer. I was thinking of trying to do it myself, but I'm so scared. I guess I have to try😊

I need that hair vacuum that is connected to your clippers. Can you give a glass on that. I have 4 small dogs and a lot of hair. I have secured many of your suggested equipment. I have that blue clipper but I think I might get the 5 in one clipper because the blue one is too heavy for me.

This was a great video. The one question I have is regarding cavapoo ears. My pup has spaniel ears with at least an inch of hair longer than the ear leather. Can that be trimmed like I do with my golden retriever's ears? Thank you for this video!!

SO CUTE!! this is my go to style for my 15 year old miniature poodle and 2 year old shitzu poodle mix. it makes them look like puppies again! this might be off topic, but do the dogs you groom ever get zoomies after a bath? peach sprints throughout the apartment after baths so it’s hard to imagine the groomer trying to contain her while at the salon.

We don’t allow the dogs to go from the tub to the floor for many reasons. They will run around, slip and possibly injure themselves. They go straight from the tub to the table where they are safe.
We do find ways to make it fun for them such as massaging the dog with a warm towel after the bath. By toweling off all the water they do not feel the need to shake it off and run around rubbing against furniture to remove the water themselves.
