His color has changed so much since he was born - he was red when he was a few weeks old but I suspect he will be a creamy gold color when he is full grown. Thank you for watching!

I find it very interesting that males are groomed with a skirt. Is that a puppy thing or maybe for toys? I truly enjoy your channel and watching how you create such well behaved and smart dogs.
Thank you for watching! The "skirt" also known as fringe is part of the traditional schnauzer groom. Both the beard and the skirt were originally bred / groomed this way to help these dogs (that were bred to deal with rats and vermin) so when they were being attacked by the rat or other little animal their beard or skirt was what was bitten instead of their skin. The tradition continues in the style of grooming although it is no longer needed for those reasons. Thank you again.

@@barbarabaker346 Nice thing about these doggies - I think I've shown "Redee" my boy in both Teddy Bear and in the traditional schnauzer cut too. When Redee was a little puppy I kept him in the Traditional Schnauzer style and you can see now he is a great Teddy Bear! THANK YOU for watching!
Did you bob your puppy tails ?? If so for what purpose? Its by time people stop that grotesque habit ..
Thank you for watching. If you'd like a puppy from me I'd be happy to make sure yours has a long tail! When puppies are 2 - 3 days old they go to my vet to remove the dewclaws and dock the tails. For anyone who does not want that done I will happily skip doing ti.
