I personally love the teddy bear look and the skirt rather than the long beards which have a tendency to make them look old and grumpy you have made him look like a puppy again. Wish I could do my schnauzer Dexy's face like you. Can I ask if the scissors make a huge difference as I don't have really good ones?

Always remeber to cut the hair over its eyes, dont be like the owner of the videos dog. I ve had 2 and they cant see with all that hair over her eyes, it has to be cut regularly, ever more regularly than the big hair cut.

I started by getting my little one use to the shower first. Then the hair dryer and then his first groom. In the UK they do a puppy groom which is just a tidy of their face and feet so they are gently exposed to it. My little one is now 11 months and the groomers say he is the most relaxed schnauzer they've handled.
They make this look so easy, first I want to know what type of clippers those are because the set I have does not cut this smooth. And second, our dogs do not allow us to use the clippers anywhere near there face heck they don't even remain still.

Is it a purebred? Neither of my schnauzer have long tails. They both have short, stubby tails.
Looks more like a Australian terrier mix than a schnauzer. It’s snout is shorter than a schnauzer & it doesn’t have the same body shape.

Beautiful job! Only thing is the skirt is a little to high up, and you should shield the eyes from falling (or blowing hair).
