Gruesome Newsom sucks not only for California but many other states. A few of my neighbors are Commifornians that moved and bought their house cash way over asking price because they are remote and the housing is 1/3 the cost for the same space and twice the land.

Man Russell is so misinformed. The tax changes were made WITH the Democrats in congress. So please stop blaming Trump because the tax law changes didn't favor your personal case. The whole case for the real estate tax deduction case was why should the bad tax policies of ANY state be subsidized by the Federal government? Yes as a California resident, it definitely hurt me financially but the tax code needs to be simplified and at least that was a step in the right direction.

I am thoroughly disgusted with how f-ing stupid this state and this country have gotten. We are completely divorced from abilities of observation, dot-connecting and common sense. I can’t even talk to the sheep anymore because they’re so idealogically subverted that I find it painful. In California we STILL have people wearing the nonsensical, germ infested face diapers that block viruses like chain link fences block mosquitos. It’s UNBELIEVABLE. Like something out of a horror film or a nightmare.
the masks that work have a copper wire mesh in them. the basic ones everyone wears are useless. copper kills bacteria/viruses as soon as it comes into contact or goes thru the wire mesh. copper is an amazing metal known for its anti viral and bacteria killing properties. silver also carries the same properties, hence why they put a silver plate at the bottom of wells. but also realize.. like 20 percent of americans now have a battered immune system. due to poor food in our country and other factors like pollution and not getting enough vitamins or sunlight... so dont just hate on ppl wearing masks, they are just ignorant to getting the proper masks. theyll figure it out sooner or later. some people who wear them actually do get sick quite easily and dont want to get others sick.. covid almost took me out twice bc of my weakened immune system.

Cali republican here.. 3 jobs and still struggle in CA. When I moved to Cali. Wasn’t that bad but now it’s worse. I’m over it and trying to get a job transfer to TX. I’m sick of high taxes, homeless, high rent and food and the woke bullshit here. It’s not worth it anymore to pay. My rent is basically like a mortgage for a house in TX and FL. I despise newscum. He’s destroying a beautiful state. LA is a ghost town now.. businesses have closed and people have left.

I moved away from CA, way back in the late 80's. Now, my mom wants me to move back to be close to her as she approaches her 90's. I told her I can't stand Newsom and the political climate. She understood but told me, "you just have to ignore it." Easier said than done.

My bro in law has a good friend from high school who went on to become a billionaire hedge fund manager. He was paying the state of CA $200 million per year in taxes. Newsom changed some rule where this guy was asked to backpay $700 million from previous years. He told Newsome to get lost, packed up and moved to TN on his private jet. The state lost his $200M per year because of this idiot governor. How many thousands of average citizens have to pay taxes to total $200M? Had that much from one guy when we're letting anyone in and giving them free everything. Ridiculous.

Every time I visit California I think what a shame it is what happened here. This is the most beautiful state in the country with the best weather and they force the middle class out. As a lifelong California Conservative I couldn’t agree with Russell Peters more. When Trump put a cap on the SALT tax (state and local taxes) he screwed all of us over and I cussed him out for it.
