  • In this video I break down my trade on the recent reverse split low float stock $BPTH as it was making a massive parabolic move. The day after I recorded this video the stock hit nearly $74.00 per share from the $12 it had closed at when I recorded this.

    I traded $JAGX today and it had this same spike in premarket based off of the reverse split and the low float. I also wanted to risk off of the premarket low but hesitated and got a little bounce later on. But this video was great to see to compare and learn from! Thanks so much for making it! Great win!

    Thanks, Papa John! You point out a lot of key factors here such as the float rotation/bag holders-- the calculated selling just before that resistance point and the SSR actually a helpful thing to longs. I never really thought of that --I Just thought it only mattered to the shorts. But..then we have Newton's 3rd law. lol

      I didn’t use e trade for this trade. All the brokers have their own rules. A few of them let you scale into and then out of trades and count it as one trade as long as all your buys happen before your sells.

    How can you know if a stock is under SSR ? Why this stock was halted? And what is OTC?

    • @SublimeTrades
      @SublimeTrades  6 лет назад +3

      If a listed stock drops down below -10% on the day it will trigger SSR. So just look at the previous close prices. The halts were volatility halts. It made big enough moves in short enough time frames to trigger the halts. OTC is over the counter. Also known as pink sheets, it’s publicly traded stocks that can’t meet listing requirements for the big exchanges.
