My wife bought me the A6 X for Christmas last year and I fell in love. Only problem was the size. I can only fill up about half the page with notes before needing to go to the next page lol. I really wanted the A5 X, but with the Manta threatening to release I opted to wait. I wanted to jump on it as soon as it released in the morning a few days ago, but didn't get the chance to! So I'll be eagerly awaiting the arrival in the next month or so
Yes, works great for sketching. 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. As far tilt, tip is very thin, I don't see anything official in specs, but i feel like it does.
There is a video on the Supernote website that shows lifting up the back on the sides is the incorrect way to take it off. You life the bottom then slide the whole back in an upwards direction to release the clips.
For the life of me, I can’t find the video again. I was trying to put in a link. Really appreciate your opening video. Really looking forward to mine arriving. Thanks.
I love the Lamy pen. Its light and feels more like basic pen I would use. It might be personal preference but the heart of metal are to heavy for me. I dont typical use "fancy" pens, I prefer more basic.
If I recall correctly, the SD card can be formatted as Fat, ExFat and NTFS [Windows] I think Fat[16/32] has an *_'individual file-size limit'_* of 4GB but ExFat hasn't, and can be read by both Mac and Windows machines. As a Mac user, I think I'll go for ExFat so I can easily backup the card on my Mac. I wonder if the Supercloud service will sync the card as well as the internal storage? Personally, I doubt it as they'd have to offer you an extra free 2TB as that's the card size limit.
At first glance I dont believe so. The SD I used is used has files on it already which is why was looking format, but I completed a sync and do not see it in Supernote Cloud.
@@RandoRaf Thats understandable, and means users need to back-up their SD card regularly if it holds important data, lest it fails... and I for one have suffered multiple SD card failures in the past.
@@RandoRaf I've attempted to use a sync tool to sync my Supernote folders to my Mac, by making the Supernote available via _'Android File Transfer'_ or/and _ _'OpenMTP'_ but without success... as I have some files I don't want to upload to any cloud service... so am left backing them up to a USB which isn't perfect as I tend to forget, or the USB drive finds itself slipped into the back of my settee next to a chocolate biscuit and some loose change.

I want to fall in love with this e-ink trend, but I believe I'm going to stick to real paper for now. The tactile feedback of writing on plastic, compared to real paper diverts my attention too much.
I was hesitant as well. I have been Samsung Note Phone and tablet user since its inception, always wanting to use it for actual notes but never liked the feel of writing on glass. I got the Supernote V1 after watching some remarkable videos first. I haven't gone back to paper for last 3yrs. I work at home so its on my desk and use it almost daily.

Most users report that the sticky friction of the writing surface becomes much smoother over time.
It does
Thank you for the video! Does the pen have pressure and tilt sensitivity?

Yea I figured out after removing and seeing the clips. I just unboxed and dove in.

@@richardspitz3192 Its really nice upgrade over Gen1
Thanks for the video. I'm tempted to change my order to get that Lamy pen.

Does the Manta collate highlighted text from PDF's and/or ePub files?

Yea I removed since I did it wrong, rather show the correct way.
@@RandoRaf Makes sense, great feature though by RUclips, I didn't know it existed.

Boooooo!
Have you tried the Remarkable Paper Pro? It has a great writing feel. It's expensive, but they have a 100-day guarantee.
A colleague has the R2. It feel like writing on plastic too. The performance is impressive, I admit.
I tried the RM2 but I dont like it. Want to try supernote
