Bruh same, I was about to apply to this program that basically gets you an associate’s degree or a head start on a bachelor’s while still graduating high school, they hype it up so much and then expect us to say in the community, like dude, people smart enough or dedicated enough don’t wanna stay here lmao
@@shmolkat657 getting a head start is a good thing... it saves money... but wdym they expect you to stay in the community? Like our school has a program like that except that most graduates of the program go to a UC system school... one went to Columbia too
Isaac like they want us to stay at the college or at least in the state (MD), no one from the program has gone to any Ivy League, at least as far as I’ve heard, also they tell us it’s free but it’s not, there’s a shit ton of “fees”, as in tens of thousands of dollars in fees, my friend and I wanted to go so we went to an interest meeting and the people were nice I guess but it was lowkey sketchy, and my mom didn’t want me to go since it was a community college anyway (not saying there’s anything wrong with community college, but Asian parents lmao)
Just a clarification: you can take the ACT and subject tests. I don't know of any schools that require you to submit subject test scores along with only the SAT.
These videos are really helpful, thank you!! I have been having a hard time deciding what SAT prep books I should buy, I've been looking at the diff reviews for weeks and can't decide, if u could tell me what materials you used that'd be great. I saw the comment abt u working on an SAT vid so if you're including it in that vid i'll wait! Thanks!!
Hey, so what if the school only requires 2 subject test, but you want to take 3. The school for reingeering requires math 2, and physics. I took APUSH , so I wanted to take the US Subject test, should I still send US History subject test even though they requires Math 2 and Physics? Thanks
Thanks I didn't know that you could take up to three tests on the same. I was originally planning on taking the physics and math level 2 (just like you lol) but now I think I'll either bio or chem. I'm better at bio, but I feel like I'll have more resources for chem especially since I'm taking it now. Maybe I'll take the latin exam in the end of the year and ask my latin teacher if she can help me. I hope four tests aren't pushing it :/
Hey my question This is my stats GPA is low like 3.5 Math 2 Subject Test: 790 Physics Subject Test: 780 Act: 35 500 Community Hours Nationals for TSA,FBLA,and DECA Strong College Essay lots more By just looking at this do you think Yale or anyother top university?
is tech go for any top school you like. Try your hand at as many as you can and present yourself in the best light possible. I'm sure you can make it into at least one Elite Program! Good luck
I follow the RUclips najaaz and she had a 3.6 gpa but she had many other great requirements and she got into standford so you definitely have a chance, keep improving !
Can you please suggest me the best book for preparation of SAT 2 subjects physics, chemistry and maths level 2? Is any book available which contains all these three subjects??
Hey you said if you do bad on a subject test you can just choose not to send it, correct? Well isn't it true that with these highly selective schools you have to send your whole testing record regardless?
Hi Josh, I am planning to take computer science or aerospace engineering as my majors, which subject tests would you recommend... I'm thinking of taking Math level 1, Math level 2 & physics.
I took my first SAT Subject Tests and got 600 on both U.S History and Literature. Pretty sure these are bad scores so Im not sure if I should even bother sending then out to school, but one if the colleges require 2. High GPA but SAT 1 & 2 scores are terrible (1270). Any tips for applying to elite schools without feeling like I'm wasting their and my time? (Should have taken it last year when I was doing APUSH)
Hey, I am from India & here if we want to study engineering or medical then we have to take entrance exam, so in America do you have to take any entrance exam to study engineering or you only have to take SAT exam?
More videos on subject tests are coming! Let me know what you thought down below!
I was the only person that took a subject test in June (at my test area). It was really nice being the only person tbh.
Wow, that sounds nice. My testing center was packed!
I love how my small rural school told us nothing about these “optional” tests - they expect us all to go to community or state universities 🤦🏽♀️

Josh these videos have been so helpful🗣🗣‼️
Thank you so much! I'm glad to help!

Thanks for all the effort you put in. So helpful! You're awesome
Great video , really helpful and I learned something new !

The only SAT prep book you should get is the Official College Board one. Its practice tests are closest to the real thing.
Should I send all my subject tests to show improvement? For example, if I get 600 on Math II and then I retake and get a 800, should I send both?
Raymond Zhao absolutely not

Hi josh, can you make a video on how to prepare for the SAT
Yep, in fact I've already started working on it!
Hey Josh, what did you think of the SAT II for Physics, will AP Physics 1 & 2 prepare me enough for it?
Wouldn't it be best to take the different subject tests on different days so you don't get too tired and have more time to study for each one?
Casey Tran That’s what I did... once I get past about two hours of testing my concentration dips a lot.
Isn’t it too exhausting to take three subject tests in a single day? I am afraid that it may lower my performance...
It’s just. As long as the sat
Muddy Calendar
The regular SAT is more than 3 hours anyway

You didn't take sat French? Or AP French?
No I didn't. I had a lot of trouble with the inconsistencies between my french classes at my high school in Texas and my high school in Virginia.
Josh Beasley ah I see
Can you please suggest me the best book for preparation of SAT 2 subjects physics, chemistry and maths level 2? Is any book available which contains all these three subjects??
I do love me some literature though...
So stressful
If I pass the sat subject text do I need to take the regular sat 💯
How many AP's did u take Sophomore year?
2, I talk about all the AP classes I took in my How I got into Yale video if your curious.
Josh Beasley ok Thanks!
Josh Beasley also what is probably the hardest AP you took in high school?
+Steven Stamkos it was definitely AP Literature
Hey you said if you do bad on a subject test you can just choose not to send it, correct? Well isn't it true that with these highly selective schools you have to send your whole testing record regardless?
It depends on the school, but normally that is just for the main SAT not subject tests.
hey, I was wondering what the difference is between an AP test and an SAT subject test
AP test gives college credit
Hi Josh, I am planning to take computer science or aerospace engineering as my majors, which subject tests would you recommend... I'm thinking of taking Math level 1, Math level 2 & physics.
Math 2, usually for engineering they want you to take Math 2 and Physics.
I took my first SAT Subject Tests and got 600 on both U.S History and Literature. Karee A. Retake your subject test
Hey, I am from India & here if we want to study engineering or medical then we have to take entrance exam, so in America do you have to take any entrance exam to study engineering or you only have to take SAT exam?
its only SAT for colleges. You only need entrance exams after undergrad
Anyone else get an 800 on physics and math 2?
And also Eng lit for me lol
math level ii is easy as fuck
