There is no lack of information....it's purely based on Rank
हिंदी में समझाते तो ज़्यादा बेहतर रहता..
Why sir , why guys with 500 rank get ias and not genuine guys like you with better rank than them?
it is depending on catagories. General catagory student need higher rank to become an IAS, on the other hand student belongs to SC/ST catagory get IAS in low rank. They also see the PWD status.

Nothing difference
IAS is just highly preferred due to attraction of power
Many aspirants just follow the herd and go for IAS, despite knowing that every service is not meant for everyone
Apart from IAS&IPS, UPSC has 19 A-grade other services too
And syllabus for UPSC is same for each service
Aspirants just don't know about them
in how many months an officer is transferred from 1 cantonment to other

Bittu pee ...well said ..those can not be an soldier due to some medical test...but they can lead in the army through upsc ...soldiers are group c or d services...but these are group a ides ,idas,ordnanace factory ,,,this is great opportunity to join army job 🤠....soldier will salute to group a officer ...as they are senior❤️
