Well Ive been riding a KLR 650 and have 37000 km on her , love every minute I spent on her. I was aways intreaged by the Triumph starting with the 800 XCA. But now with The 900 Rally Pro, its like now thats interesting. And your videos are makeing it even more interesting. At 60 years or age I now want to explore the road a bit more but still want to go off road. I love its look and all it has to offer. You doing a great job with these videos. Never boring and always instructive. Look foward to following your trip. Ride safe!!!
First off - love the videos you are doing and your in-depth run down of street and off-road. Kudos. Having just bought the same bike in Sandstorm a week ago, I've been glued to your assessment of the bike. I'm here in Colorado USA and haven't been able to take it off road yet as I'm a little cautious of ice in the mountains. BUT - I was amazed in both the street and then this video that you are able to touch the ground so well. I'm 5' 9" (175 cm) with a 31" inseam (78 cm), and even with my boots on, only can touch with the balls of my feet. I ordered a low-pro seat to see if that helps, but curious if all these videos were made with completely stock 900 Rally Pro and no adjustments we made to the suspension? Again thanks for the videos!
Hey Matt yeah it’s totally standard suspension. I have a 69cm inside leg so not far off you. Sounds strange. Inside leg does also depend on leg width and as I’m athletic mine are slim. If you happen to have wider legs it would reduce your reach. That’s all I can think of
Looks like a great place to play. I had a good weekend at the Sweetlamb training centre in Wales with Molly and team (which is a KTM centre but they can also take any brand of bike). Looking forward to seeing your rally video so good luck next week.
Thank you Vanessa, your presentation is getting more and more professional. No uuhhh's and aahh's. Many on tv can learn from that. It shows how you love and are interested in what you're doing. makes it a pleasure to watch and listen. Are there more coming up? 👊😎
Awesome video....I purchased the 900 gt pro, absolutely love the bike..going travelling summer 2023 to Scotland, obviously I went for the gt pro as I will be mostly on road but it's still got the ability to go off road if I need it...thanks again for a informative video especially the off road training...regards Stuart.
Hmm really like the video, as always. Recently I got a new v-strom 650, because the 1050 is a bit heavy for my weight. Now because of this footage I have to plan a trip to Spain instead of getting an additional gear and paniers for the bike. Time will tell what to do.
Those low speed turns are based on where your foot position is. An old instructor told me that trick of using the innner of your foot rather than the ball. Works every time 👌
not exactly. you should be able to do a right hand turn from a stop with your foot on the brake, which means you aren't using your left foot for balance
Loving this little comment debate. I’d say it’s a whole factor of things that make a full lock slow turn possible. One part alone won’t do it but lots of practice hehe 😜
You got the bike "round 'n round" & dizzy Vanessa goes. Glad you got some practice in before the 1000 dunes, but hope they miss counted and there are less and not more. Good walk around as usual.
Just found your channel, been watching the series onj the Tiger 900, great with all the info you share., Looks like you had a blast there in Malaga, and cool skill set you have and get there. Awesome work, keep it up 💪👋👋👍👍
Hi Paul Aw thank you. That’s super lovely of you to say. It makes me smile that you’re enjoyed it. Thank you. The next part in the series will be out this evening, I hope you enjoy
Had a Rally Pro for only about 4000 miles. With the bike load me and gear it went thru two rear wheels. The spokes kept breaking casita VERY serious issue with safety. Sold it and went with a GS
@@TheGirlOnABike There is a black plastic protection on the frame tube right under the fuel tank...the second you touch it with the inner part of your knees you start to feel it. First I thought is just ppl nitpicking on the bike but the struggle is real and on top of that gotta remove the tank to get rid of that thing.
Hey, Loving your channel as I have a tiger myself, could you let me know what the make of the pants your wearing when riding as they look good and comfortable. Are they,
Spain looks a lot drier than Wales LOL, but you don't get all that lovely Welsh mud. I've done a number of courses and tours run from the centre in Wales, and the 900RP is a superb bike and still amazed at what it handles. It would be interesting to know what setting you dial in when you leave the tarmac?
love your work ### if u ever want to cuddle a kowala, see and ride some of the most amazing country, come down under and ill show u an adventure paradise,,,, as i said love your work, ride safe , . and maybe ill get a chance to share my paradise, meet some awesome adv people, cheers Franky xxxxx
Low speed maneuvers are harder than most bikes on a Tiger 900. The fueling isn’t great and it stalls easily. I like that you can change the bite point since it’s a cable clutch.
Slow is definitely harder yeah. Sounds strange to me as I had no clutch stalling issues. I don’t change the biting point at all. Just moved the lever to the closest hand setting. I didn’t have any issues as it’s a mad light clutch given the bike size
@@TheGirlOnABike the clutch bite point isn’t an issue. Since it’s a cable clutch the customizable nature of it is great. However, the engine at low revs is weak snd is easy to stall.
What helmet is that? Also..Did you hear anything about the upper crash bars, causing sheared bolts on the mounts? Loads of them here in the States...even with the new Triumph upper crash bars, and also Hepco and Becker ones also..and others too.
It’s a Hebo helmet. My favourite brand for sure. Suits my head perfectly. The upper crash bars from my understanding have been redesigned and so that issue is of the past now thankfully. I certainly had no issues
@@TheGirlOnABike Thank you! I'll check out Hebo and see what they have. Sadly the new and redesigned (added additional support) upper crash bars, are ALSO shearing the bolts...it's a fulcrum/physics issue from high up under the beak, causes the shearing, regardless of MFG etc. and most of the instances were NOT drops even. I recently spoke with 5 owners here in SoCal USA who advised me to not get them, or even take them off. I cancelled my order reluctantly .... be advised. Great vids and congrats on your recent rally performace!
Yeah I found it no dramas. I’m wearing tech 7 boots. I did slightly adjust the shifter lever for more space but I do also have small size 7 uk feet. So that might help. Aled who rode with me for the rally has bigger feet and didn’t seem to have an issue. I’d recommend adjusting the lever slightly and see how that goes
@@TheGirlOnABike Oh yes, I heard the Tech 7 would fit and they have some nice colors. Unfortunately I didn’t pull the trigger because they weren’t water proof. They came out with the Drystar version but not the colors. My shift lever is fully adjusted and it wouldn’t fit both Forma and AStar Belize plus I sometimes hit my lower crash guard. I didn’t want to swipe from the side shifting.
Oh gosh. I’m sorry for the audio. That’s the hardest part. Mics and bikes out in the wilderness don’t seem to mix well lol. Thanks for watching and for the feedback

Very good presentation, well done ; that triumph is looking like my next bike !
Thanks Johnny super kind feedback
The twin donut demo was... educational 😋 It's so much easier on a small dirtbike, I've never had the chance to try it on a big Adv.
Yeah so true. The adv bikes near kill me trying but I’m slowly getting better haha

The deal breaker, for me, is the chain drive. Im sure others out there feel the same way.
Not at all for me with off road. That’s vital

Well I don't understand how you have both feet on the ground with 69cm leg and being 169cm tall ,not possible on standard rally pro
Yeah it’s standard. Maybe it’s the slim stand over width but also my thin legs. The larger your legs in diameter the more it reduces your seat height
