Thanks for the video! How do you like the forward visibility in the supra compared to your M2C? I currently have a 135i and am deciding whether to get a newer supra or tune my 135.
honestly i find forward visibility a non issue. The M2 seemed to have more but in reality its not by much. its the side visibility that was reduced. With your choices, the 135i you have is using the N55 engine which has a lot of tuning capability. Its also in the OG M2 before they made it a competition so theres quite a bit of support around for it. Its a solid engine and can make great power. The new 2021 Supra's yes have a very very good B58 variant, however due to the new ECU's they are coming locked and are harder to get tuned if not impossible right now. I think for you the best thing to do would be to weigh the differences in practicality. You'll be losing quite a bit of space going from a 135i to a Supra.
@@Xxyion86 Awesome! This makes my choice even more difficult ;) I actually have an '08 135 with the n54. The Supra seems a lot better in regard to more modern suspension + transmission + better tire sizes accommodated etc... Maybe I'll sit in a supra today and make a financial mistake :) Thanks for the info!
wind buffeting is because cars are designed to have the best wind coefficient, and that is with the windows closed. if you open a window or even 2, the wind buffeting will be worse the more aerodynamically designed the car is.

@@Xxyion86 on the test drive had one of the employees with me from the dealership and with this covid restrictions had to have the both windows wide open , I was expecting it to be unbearable , maybe i didn't notice it as I was to excited . Really great cars aren't they :)
@@luke_y2k Haha thats true, i feel like if i had driven it with windows down the day i got it i wouldnt have noticed it either. The car offers so much you kinda forget about the short comings. I feel like i would have really noticed it come next year during Spring/Summer so i'm glad i did the fix now
Nice car. Sucks your weren't like the few of us lucky 21's to get get tuned. Check out my base line dyno of my 21 supra then look at my Dyno with Downpipe visconti ethanol flex fuel kit mst intake and E-50 Ecutek management tuned
I'm not too worried. I know these cars can make crazy power with just a downpipe and a tune, but currently 388 is good enough for me. I might look into tuning once they figure out how to unlock the current ECU's, its just a matter of time.
while thats true it is still a limited edition and only 1000 were made worldwide. Other none launch editions Toyota has released were numbered so its strange that this one is not.
Drives a very limited Supra. NO Power Washer! NO Foam Cannon! And don't read instructions on how to apply Meguiers Hybrid Ceramic Spray!!! Best car Combo is to a MKIV with the MKV!!!

I got all these from Speed Industry. These are all Rexspeed parts so i think they have them on their website too.
That simple little piece at the bottom makes the steering wheel a thousand times better. I hate that blank plastic there.
It honestly completed the whole steering wheel for me. Might go with a full CF wheel in the future but for now this looks great.

did the car not come with the “A91 Edition 1/1000” carbon fiber dash vent decal?
it does not for whatever reason. However i feel like they did that because the A91 get the Refraction Blue wherase the LE came in standard colors.

Type R is nice however i needed to get something without a Manual Transmission and i also prefer RWD over FWD.
i didnt notice the wind buffering when i test drove the supra and that was doing 70mph on the motor way ( UK )
tbh its not as bad as lets say when you have a sedan and someone has the back window down a tad. So i can see how some people dont even notice it.

Looks like we have similar tastes in cars. Had a MK7 GTI, now have an MX5 (s2000s little brother), and think the Supra is next.
