Glad you guys are okay! A few days ago my family was watching a horror movie together. It was like 11:00 at night and I don’t usually watch horror movies because they creep me out a ton. All the sudden we hear 3 huge bangs on the door, they were so loud we could hear it from upstairs. My whole family was kinda scared because we were all creeped out from the movie. We locked all the doors and pulled the blinds over the windows. After a few minutes, we checked outside and there was a huge shoe print on our front step and there was no package or anything (it had been raining). A little later I went upstairs and out of my window i saw a shadowy figure creeping around outside of our house. It was really creepy.

I agree. We aren’t famous by any means and live in a pretty decent neighborhood but we still have a security system. If you have the money for it it is a great investment, If you don’t there are other security measures you can take that are cheap and simple. However I don’t think that’s their problem but some other people may struggle.

So glad everyone is ok. When we finished building our house, we got a ring with it and an alarm system. The ring has helped us so much. Though we have to charge it frequently ever since our town was hit by 2 hurricanes, before that, it lasted for more than a year without charging.

My family has security cameras in and outside the house, and it's convenient and makes you feel extra safe. The reason why we have cameras in the house is that when my sister and I were teens, we used to fight A LOT, so my mom would always be like, "Okay, I'm going to look at the footage, and whoever is lying about starting the fight is getting in trouble" Yeah I know having cameras in the home can be weird for others to hear. Still, it helped out a lot when it came to our fighting because we just stopped fighting at one point.
I think it is fine to have cameras in the house; many people do in the general areas (living rooms/kitchens), but bedrooms probably would be weird unless the person has medical reasons or other reasons they need to be watched. I've read many stories of teens getting their privacy invaded by cameras in their rooms for no reason; just so the parents feel in control or something.
We are living in the beginning of sorrows, definitely need security.

Bummer, you need a security company to come in and install some secure, secret, security all around your home. Creepers are no fun
So scary! My neighbors are all super close and we always watch each other’s house when they are gone. We will bring packages in if they get them delivered so they are not sitting outside. Maybe next time ask a neighbor or friend to grab your packages when you are gone.

My mom was going to pick up her Godson yesterday and she went to the wrong house accidentally and the man answered the door with a gun to her head.

This has happened to my family when we were buying our current house we had bought it and had to make sure everything was okay before we moved we were looking around and a guy came through the basement into the house up the stairs and walked out the door and almost stole the keys for the house because they were in this keypad box thing on the door handle and there was two keys in there and the relator had one and one was still in the box the realtor was talking to my parents and he saw the guy so tue guy ran before he could get the key

Maybe this is a good time for mom or dad to look into a firearm (if y'all don't have one already) to be able to defend yourselves if this happens again god forbid the intruder to be armed. ok so, this exact thing happend to me, someone randomly broke in the side of my house and since then my father has bought some cameras near every door including the garage door and so when someone walks into the frame of the camera all my family’s phones get notifications so we know when someone is there. So now we are much safer and we have evidence!
