Hating someone poisons your soul and gives them rent free space inside your tormented mind and broken heart. Forgive them for YOUR well mental well being, but never take them back. Be best revenge is a better life lived without the person or people who betrayed you still in it...indifference is a stronger tool than hate. This man is still too damaged to even date and will have trust issues with every woman he deals with after what Julie did to him. There is no fixing this.
If Julie is still actively pining for the story submitter there is a way to shut her down completely since she is STILL telling people she still loves him and wants him back. He should sit her down and make her physically SEE what she wants him to get over. She has one opportunity to earn the "CHANCE" to make a new relationship happen...as in even if she does this, there is no promise it will happen. Tell her to find an attractive single woman who can pass a STD test that SHE has to pay for the medical check to sleep with him (without protection if she didn't have protection with the dancer or random guy). Tell her she has to walk in the room during the high point of the tryst and watch him be with someone else. After it is over, they can sit down and talk about how she feels after witnessing what he saw. If she acts out of rage, remind her that HE is single/not engaged to anyone so he has betrayed NO ONE, unlike what she did...so she has no reason to be hurt or angry and doesn't even feel the full extent of betrayal that he still feels. He can then see how real the remorse is and if he wants to be foolish enough to take her back with a full relationship reset, she has to earn everything all over again. The engagement won't be back on. She will have years to wait for wedding bells...if they ever happen. And a one sided prenuptial agreement will be signed that will even include child custody/support agreements in place if they separate...the one sided will be for him, not her. IF she leave for any reason the agreement goes into effect...but he can turn into Hugh Hefner or Larry Flint and she won't have a leg to stand on. How bad does she want him...
Op will get over the betrayal, but it will take time. Maybe OP should move. The big thing that is not mentioned is what happened to the other women that cheated at that party. Also, every woman that had any sense would end any relationship with Sophia, and should spread the story about what Sophia did.

You are right not to HATE her, just try and move on. Hating is an act of self destruction, because, it usually does more emotional damage to the hater, than to the person that is being hated.
