How did you install the key ignition. I just bought an XR500 and want to use in on the street. I want to install an ignition so that thieves cant just kickstart the bike and ride off.

The key on a 500 will splice the green wire with the kill switch and chassis ground the other black/white key wire.
How difficult or expensive was it to get it plated for street use? I’m in California not sure where ur bike is from
Washington was $40 inspection and $94 plate.
