Steve, I think this is the answer to all of my streaming dreams for my live feeds! I have a regular guest I host a show with so I am thinking to get 2 way chat, he would need to have OBS Studio also and have my camera feed his end also? i.e. to create 2 way chat?
You co-host does not need OBS; just a browser.
Two way isn't an issue. Either use a group room, or create a pair of two way push/view links and a view link for OBS

I am trying to screenshare from my Android phone. Downloaded the apk, ran it, posted the link generated into OBS studio on my computer, but ... it just noodles. Have I missed a step?

I was thinking of using a wireless nanny cam so people can see my plant as a 24 hour stream. Is using such a cam doable? I did a test on my iphone and it works perfectly! Just looking at other options!
If you connect your nanny cam to a computer, and if it can work as a webcam or be loaded into OBS, you can then select it in VDO.Ninja to share with people.
If you don't have a spare computer, a Raspberry Pi is supported, and you can connect a webcam to that for 24/7 streaming with VDO.Ninja.

I ended up doing a broadcast and had a problem pulling the guest camera into OBS. Of 4 guests, I managed to pull two correctly, the other 2 the screen went black, and at a certain moment it appeared and went black. Can you help me with this?
OBS browser source might be crashing and restarting.

I added the camera to OBS and now I see more dropdown option including my EMEEST Smart Cam and also EMEEST virual camera BUT none of my cameras load right now. How can i roll back, please?
If you see a drop down in OBS, then the problem is you added a PUSH link to your OBS, when you want to use a VIEW link
the link added to obs showed be like vdo.ninja/?view=xxxxx ; not ?push
make sure to use the right link in OBS

When someone screen shares on VDO ninja and I bring it into OBS it looks blur, how can I change that?
Is it a game feed? If so you may need to increase the bitrate.
For games, you can try versus.cam, which is a version of vdo for games shares.

Can you create a reusable invite link for specific people in a room? One issue I've found is that when/if presenters drop connection, when they come back their browser source link has changed; which means we have to update vMix/OBS.
Hi Steven,
You can create reusable invite links per guest; each reusable link is actually only usable by one person at a time, so you need multiple reusable links for a group.
The browser source / link should not change so long as they simply refresh their page. if they re-open the original generic invite however, they will be assigned a new stream ID.
You can append &sticky to the invite link also, and any stream ID that is automatically assigned to them will be reused the next time they join, even if they use the original generic link to reconnect. However, it does ask the guest if they wish to use the old session or start a new one, when using &sticky at least.

Try disabling hardware acceleration for browser sources in OBS advances settings.
Is there a way to remove the dashboard items like the share screen, mute unmute from the guest? I want to be able to control the mic as the director and I do not want the guest to ever use the share screen .
There are options, yes.
&clean will hide all options.
&hidess will hide the screen share button
You can take things further by having the guest join without anything but a chat window:
&hidemenu&webcam&autostart&ad=1&vd=1&clean&chat&consent
In this case, they auto-join, and only have chat.
The director can remotely change their camera and mic and mute, etc.

@@steve_seguin I don't see it but that's okay. I used the vdo for a live stream today for the first time. All went well but the audio. It sounded like the speaker was under water. It wasn't an echo it was like garbled. Do you know what?
@@epkapsi Were you playing music or something? The default settings are for voice. Music might not be ideal.
If streaming music or a game, you can add &proaudio to both the view link and the guest link. That will trigger the HD audio mode.
