Incredible find and super appreciated share! This is something that I’ve been waiting for, and although there have been attempts, this seems to be the best implemented. I’m picking this up for sure!
Great video as usual. This device looks like a game-changer. If the displayed values are accurate, no more digging deep into camera menus, especially for those of us shoot fully manual. Awesome.
@@KenCheng Huh? Where was Apple even mentioned in this comment? He was just talking about digging into camera menus and you rudely just come stomping on a comment about a camera with cell phone jargon? Wow.
I’ve said it under other reviews that they could make a black “Pro” model that’s better materials and maybe utilize the ring around the eject cylinder to be a wireless charging ring for iOS.
This is a simple solution for live streaming (over cellular) and using your DSLR as your camera. I'm not sure of other solutions for that, but this would do it. Thanks!
Not sure about other cameras out there but the Z-Cam E2 line can do all of this without any extra hardware (live stream, record to phone (proxy), monitor, & control) completely wireless via WIFI or via USB for zero latency.
My biggest concern about this is the phone overheating and dimming. Even flying my drone on low power mode, it's kind of an issue and this device doesn't have room to squeeze in a cooler. Was phone overheating an issue in production use? Thank you for all you do!
HDMI port broke on my Sony A7iii so have been using the Monitor Plus app on Google Pixel with a USB-C connection and tbh phones are the perfect sized monitors for run and gun filmmaking. I have shot a full documentary with that set up with no issues!
wow was hoping I could find someone saying something about a android device I wonder if itd work on my fire 10 with play store on it, if not I have the pixel 6
I have been looking for a device like this, since apple lauched the max vresion of the iphones. I got something similar to that from the monitor + app, but the lack of robustness on the app like getting signal trough wi-fi only made me wish for an alternative, like a capture card for iPhone, or native hardware support like the sony smartphones have, and there is where this device enters. I loved the livestraming function, it adds so much to it for broadcasters, specially if they made this compatible with the TVU and LiveU formats. The only thing this made me wish for is a sata port to record footage on an ssd instead of the phone memory, maybe a pro version in mate black? :)))
Nice test ! It could be interesting to compare this product to the Ninja V / V+ : codecs quality, storage cost (ssd vs iPhone storage !), boot time, reliability, etc... Thanks !
Huge fan of you videos - thanks! One question - if you were on a budget, the Accsoon SeeMo costs basically the same as the Osee T5+ (or the soon to come touch screen version) - what would you go for then?
Hey Caleb, great vid again! Had a question, so if you shooting in 4k60, feed will not go through or will it be displayed as 1080 60? Btw, got DIY SM7B and set it up and did not disappoint at all 🙌🏻👍🏻🙌🏻.
The recording ot the phone feature has another great use ... camneras that have 30 minute time limits. Let's say you have an older DSLR with a recording time limit and you don;t normally care but tonight you want to record your kids play wel ... 1080p at 20MBps (the max on my android wiith the app) is more than adequate and you don;t have the shell out 800$ (Canadian) plus for a Atomos Ninja V for this one off use (or occasional use).
This look amazing! A question- is what is viewed on the phone screen what is recorded by the camera- eg, if you change the aspect ratio on the phone will the camera itself record the way selected or is it just a display thing?? Another thing I gotta buy! Thanks
the biggest drawback in my opinion is that it can only record 1080p60 at h264 codec. almost every new cameramodel can transfer files over wifi or usb-c to you smartphone. what i would like to see is a device like that which can record proresraw internally and use the smartphone or tablet as a monitor. that would be game changing.
Have you ever attempted to utilize the app for capturing an incoming video stream directly from a camcorder, leveraging the camera's firewire out port along with a firewire to lightning adapter?
I really like these products as I have less number of items per set and hence my time saver. i played your full video, video latency is almost negligible but i am sure screen mirror to phone to monitor how is response with apple product or other brand product
Awesome video! Can you tap the iphone screen for auto-focus adjustment, like you can on the camera screen? I have a Canon R6. Or can I still tap on the R6 built in screen to just the AF location?
Thanks for the video. Your content is always informative and extremely helpful. I recently purchased an R7 and was looking at external monitors (can’t really afford a monitor/recorder). The problem I found with the R7 is if I have it set so I can see both the monitor and camera’s LCD screen then it doesn’t record to the camera memory card(s). And if the output is just to the external monitor you can record to memory card(s) but the camera’s LCD screen is non-functional. I rely on the touch screen quite a bit for my run and gun style of shooting. With the Accsoon SeeMo is that still the situation or does it allow for recording to camera’s memory cards while still allowing use of the LCD touchscreen? If so, it might be the solution I need. Thanks again for your input and I appreciate the time and effort you put into your channel.
Hey, Caleb. Great info as always. As a Canon user, am I still stuck in manual focus if I want to livestream clean or record into the phone? Still looking for that magical device that will allow us to use AF on a Canon for that...🙄
Thanks for the video. I'm having an issue with the reliability of the Canon Connect app and would like to find a cabled alternative to that. Is there any way to control the cameras shutter, aperture, iso and AF settings though this sytem?
This looks awesome! So can I record with my camera and do only the live stream with this at the same time? I guess yes but better to ask before I buy 😁
Looks interesting, but I'd like to see a version for Android as well. Primarily because you can put a microSD card into nearly every Android device. Then it makes the phone into a practical recorder. I like iPhones, I carry one every day, but for more technical uses, I think that Android phones have the edge.
Can this also record the camera settings as your adjusting. Ie. iso, f stop and shutter speed? And does it record you scrolling through the camera menu?
Hey Caleb, love your videos. I've bought the M1 and trying to connect my Sony A7RV to Samsung S23 ultra. It seems there's a connection because I lose the camera screen but I\m not getting a camera view on the mobile monitor. Do I have the camera on PC connect? Is there any settings in the phone I need to change? Appreciate any help.
Nice vid. I got mine about a week ago haven’t had time to dig into it. Can you share how can I import a LUT to the app so I can use it for monitoring? And if I can import more than one? Thanks! I’ll check out other vids I like your vibe 🥃
I never knew I needed this until I saw this video. The Sony Experia has this feature built in, but that phone is expensive as hell just to use as a monitor.
Thanks Caleb for bringing new products to light. You never disappoint!
OMG after seeing this video I did the research and now I just bought it. woo hoo. I film travel videos. this is so worth it for my needs. thank you.
I love this. Just imagining all the possibilities has me super excited!
Thanks for the review! Ordered it already and I’m gonna get it next Tuesday!🙌

the 3D PRINTED MIC!!! love your work man and that mic looks on point!! i just printed mine and love it thanks to you
I've been waiting for this for years!!!! Thanks Caleb for everything you do. Best RUclips channel GOAT!
me toooooo
I was so hoping you’d do a review & BOOM there it is..great work as always. 🎥🖋💪🏻
Great video as usual. This device looks like a game-changer. If the displayed values are accurate, no more digging deep into camera menus, especially for those of us shoot fully manual. Awesome.
"game changer"? 🤣 Once again... been done already on Android, but typical Apple folks with tunnel vision 🤦♂
@@KenCheng it doesn’t matter until it’s done for iOS. Y’all haven’t figured that out yet?? Lol
@@KenCheng Huh? Where was Apple even mentioned in this comment? He was just talking about digging into camera menus and you rudely just come stomping on a comment about a camera with cell phone jargon? Wow.
This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for!!!
I’ve said it under other reviews that they could make a black “Pro” model that’s better materials and maybe utilize the ring around the eject cylinder to be a wireless charging ring for iOS.
Finally, someone made this!!
thank you for the information !!!
Just wanted to say thanks for all the great content. Both camera, lights AND audio stuff
Thank you so much for the support!
Saw Kai review this and I was interested. Thank you for a thorough review!!!
Nice review appreciate the honesty. Love to try one out❤
Got one, great review, thanks! I hope the battery life is good!
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks

Looks like an awesome tool. I will definitely look into purchasing one.
Incredible! Thanks Caleb
Welcome to your day and for everyone in strength, health, peace! Thank you very much for the informative sharing! Good luck!
👍🍀🇭🇺🌞👆
Wow; this looks SUPER useful!
Great video, Thanks for sharing
Man so many uses and that streaming anywhere option would be great! Tempting
Been waiting for something like this.
Wait whuat? Is this really happening? I've never won anything in my life?! Also what's telegram?
Cool product. I'm sure with user input there will be lots of improvements.

That's insane! CRAZY cool
I watch your videos all the time and just realized I'm not subscibed, fixed that!! Thanks for all you do.
I just bought one. Let see how it does . One less thing to carry around for a non professional or leisure situation. Thanks Great review.
I will absolutely be getting one. Hopefully there’s a smoother gradient coming for the false color.
My biggest concern about this is the phone overheating and dimming. Even flying my drone on low power mode, it's kind of an issue and this device doesn't have room to squeeze in a cooler. Was phone overheating an issue in production use? Thank you for all you do!
That’s an excellent idea. I hope more manufacturers start creating this tool so consumers have some choice.
Z Cam also makes one of these. It's much cheaper too. There are choices.
@@scissorfightmedia so glad I scrolled down to your reply. Much cheaper.
Thats a really interesting piece of tech!
Brilliant device. I'll wait for version 2 - hopefully black and better built.
This is cool!
Cool product! I love having a ninja V to overcome canon overheating and record limits.
I have the Accsoon M1 for Android. Its really good
Wow, this is amazing

Most of the camera can output 1080p60 when the shooting format is 4K60p.
Cna you use this wiht another lavalier mics? Awesome vid
I'm mostly excited to get one of these to send a feed from my ATEM Mini and live stream from any where.
Yes, we've tested SeeMo with ATEM Mini with no issues.
Thank you Caleb
so cool, this is great.
Definitely a game changer
Thanks!!
Wow I’d like to try it out. I have a Nikon D3400

The app will record a clean feed, without applying LUT, overlay, or desqueeze.
Very cool. Does it charge your phone while attached?
Can I use this to change my focus point? Can I see audio levels? Sorry if I missed either of those.
Im guessing it opens to accommodate different sizes, 5.4 inches to 6.7 , looking for this for years. great find
Great idea.
This is great, if they can make it with a wireless feature like using the Sony Imaging Edge app would be perfect.

@NKI - Accsoon America Support
30Mbps is another reason why it might not be ready for primetime too…
🤔
Absolutely
90% sure the Atmos Ninja V can. More $, but several other advantages

Very cool piece of kit. Could this be used to circumnavigate recording limits on EU cameras like the Ninja monitor/recorders?
Ooh this looks very damn impressive
Great video! :) Can you also add a teleprompter?
my god fucking finnaly!!!! why did it take so long for this to be made??? this would have been epic during the dslr revolution
