whenever they nerfed our mastery in the 10.2 changes, they gave us an aura buff and an individual disintegrate 15% damage buff to compensate. this resulted in disintegrate being a meaningful essence spender and pyre going in the dumpster because it also needed compensated for the mastery changes. this means that disintegrate actually outpaces pyre even with volatility until 5+ targets. in this particular dungeon, i'm dinsintegrating priority targets because of bolstering, though. :) with the pyre buffs next week, pyre will resume to be at 3+ targets with volatility (i think)! our aoe will be so great again.
Going to dust of my devoker now that i got ahead of the curve on my ele shaman. How do they preform in raids? I just have a gut feeling their st dps will be really really strong with the buffs they have recived
dev will always be much stronger in raid than m+. its damage profile and mobility are just so fantastic for many bosses, especially end bosses! right now, we are middle-high of the pack on pure patchwork.
