Saw Lemmy at the Temple Theater in Tacoma. Met Lemmy. "There's a bar over there." He bought many drinks. And kept drinking over for many drinks men and women. Lemmy showed a bartender for 500 dollars, and "keep drinking !" ;-)
I had the great pleasure as a 17 year old lad watching Lemmy do a sound check before a Gig. I was the only person there watching him. I couldn’t understand why no one else was there!
The most downtoearth and honest rock'n roller to ever exists, and an extraodinary human being.' RIP Lemmy. I never liked their music, but i liked Lemmy a lot.
From a 1996 interview: On the topic of authors and books, Lemmy's favourites include Michael Moorcock, Philip K. Dick ("he's great!"), J. G. Ballard, and Len Deighton. He has a soft spot for Len Deighton's two Bernard Sampson trilogies (Berlin Game, Mexico Set, London Match, continued with Spy Hook, Spy Line, and Spy Sinker), which Lemmy thinks is an amazing piece of work" since they all "fit together as one." Lemmy also reads a lot of documentaries concerning the topic of war, particularly World War I and II. Why about war? "Because it's the most popular pastime in the world. Everybody seems to be doing it. I like the big ones because it shows man at his worst."
Man I miss Lemmy, Jeff Hanneman and Waylon Jennings. I always considered Lemmy and Waylon as the coolest front men of a band. Used to always stand on Jeff Hanneman's side of the stage at SLAYER concerts. I never got to see or meet Waylon though. I was fortunate to meet Jeff and Lemmy in St. Louis after a show and in Portland. I actually showed up really early to a Motorhead show (waiting for my crew) and nobody was there yet and the place was empty. So I went to the bar adjacent to the stage floor and sat down and ordered a bourbon on the rocks. This guy gets done playing pinball at the far dark end of the bar and sits next to me. Holy hell it's Lemmy! So we just talked and drank whiskey until he had to go prep for the concert. I didn't ask for autograph or photo. Just talked to the man. Funny thing is we were both rocking .308 bullet belts and and cowboy boots. Good times.
Lemmy was my buddy, almost every Friday and Saturday night when Lemmy was not touring he use to come to Rainbow club on Sunset blv and he would hangout on the second floor. There was a PAC-MAN video game in the corner between the bar and the small dance floor and the DJ booth. He was a PAC-MAN freak and that’s how I met him I was playing pac-man waiting for my bodies to show up and he came sat across of me set a quarter on the pac-Man screen and started watching me play waiting for his turn. It was one of those video games that looked like a coffee table where the screen is flat and there is to Joystix on each side. He was all excited because I was cleaning stages one after one. It took me 1.5 hr to loose but I had a very high points. When I was done and I was about to get up he said I am paying for your next game do you want to against me I said why not he started playing first I got beers for us and that was the start of a very long and Cool friend ship between Lemmy and I. For almost 10 years we were good buddies he was a very down to earth human being. RIP BUDDY.

Deep inside, we all like to think that Lemmy went to the Valhalla so he will be back when he's most needed... Ok, not necessarily him, but his soul reincarnated into another body.
We will see him again some day, in a better place, far from the worries and strife of this world.
@@BruceLeeKingoftheSewers dude. Stop lying. No he won’t. Its sad you people believe that
@@Ottophil *pokes* people are free to believe whatever they want, don’t be rude 🙃
Repent and accept Jesus Christ before it's too late!!! Right now is your time. This very second.
Working at Marshall.... working at Marshall on amps, working at Marshall on the " Murder One Amp". Working at Marshall on the "Murder One Amp" with Mr Kilmister, OUTSTANDING.
Seven years already. Thanks for this, Music And Stuff.
Imagine the liquor and ladies that beast seen not just Lemmy but his favorite amp
Haha I just remembered I had some guy mention that I reminded him of Lemmy for some strange reason.
I’ve never had such respect in my life!!
Back from the dead to test out bass amps. Champion!
I used to use a 78 Marshall head with no master volume control and an Ampeg 8x10 cabinet. The other bass players couldn't figure out how I got such deep tone control. Marshall and Ampeg. Quite simple actually. Lado bass was quite a help.
One hell of a bassist. He's bad ass. RIP Lemmy. Thanks for the music. Motor head rocks
Cranking everything up to 11 doesn't make you one hell of a bassist
Superb 🤘🤘 “ I’ve put my hearts & soul into this”... oh! Where abouts ? lol... absolute legend he was, R.I.P.
Not into Motorhead (but loved their version of God Save the Queen) but it was a joy to see Lemmy testing this monster of a stack.
Everything you need to know about rock and roll. Miss you Lemmy.
Немного печально смотреть, как же жалко, что Лемми нас покинул. Думаю, в раю ему выдали самую лучшую аппаратуру и инструменты, ведь он великий музыкант.
Lemmy looked fun to hang out with. 😎 Glad he did get to be funny for as long he did even tho we wished to keep him longer. Rock In Peace Lemmy 😎🍻
@@creamwobbly hehe, yeah, these days the hanging out might be a little bit one sided.
Where like one doesn't finish his beer or whiskey. And you'd get drunk alone. I understand those situations..... xD
Legends never die. God blees you, Lemmy 🙏😇🤟
I remember seeing Rory Gallagher at the Marquee maybe 1980/81 and before he played his set in the back where the bar was Lemmy was playing a fruit machine. No one, not a solitary person went near him. The man looked so big and mean (am sure he was a lovely guy but what an aura he gave off).
Great times!
Lemmy is such a legend. RIP. Keep the Jack flowing in the clouds!!!
I miss Motörhead concerts , Was one of the the most important - HAPPIEST events in my Life ! THNX for the Music , MOTÖRHEAD FOREVER LEGENDS !! Prost from Germany !
Lemmy: The persona and sound of pure rock and roll.
Lemmy was the most Bad Ass Bass Player there Was, We Miss you Brother, You will never be Forgotten, Cousin Figel
Lemmy was indeed a character. Rest in peace sir.
Brothers. I just turned 56, I'm an old punker, loved Lemmy from here in the states. Marshall stacks and a custom cab, I
think. Like my old Welsh granmps used to say, "we'll ne'er see the loiks o' heem again."
All these extras are on the "Lemmy"-Bluray btw.
Saw Lemmy at the Temple Theater in Tacoma. Met Lemmy. "There's a bar over there."
He bought many drinks.
Because it was so fucking loud?!!!🤣🤣🤣

Lemmy was and is the epitome of the badass bass player that you wouldn’t want to mess with. Cool as fuck!
Wouldn't want to mess in what way exactly?
He comes walking down the ramp and I immediately think, I miss Lemmy. RIP
I don't always listen to Motorhead. But when I do, so do my neighbors.
My neighbors love Motorhead so much they threw a brick through my window to hear more clearly.
I don't always listen to Mötorhead these days, but when I do, so does Lemmy.
They also feel it too.

The most downtoearth and honest rock'n roller to ever exists, and an extraodinary human being.'
RIP Lemmy. I never liked their music, but i liked Lemmy a lot.
I would like to know what books he was reading. Totally respect to Lenny as a class act as always .
When I was done and I was about to get up he said I am paying for your next game do you want to against me I said why not he started playing first I got beers for us and that was the start of a very long and
Cool friend ship between Lemmy and I.
For almost 10 years we were good buddies he was a very down to earth human being.
RIP BUDDY.
Sips a jack n coke, lights a marly red and grabs his keys whilst dismissing the cameras. Ya gotta love it 🤣❄️😎
“Right so here’s my amp. I like to play it loud. Look see here, I had them make it go up to eleven, you see? Right, I like to have that extra umff, ya know? Just a little extra push when you need it.” I swear, “This is Spinal Tap” nailed the douchiness of rock and roll with exquisite precision.
This quote is wrong as shit but your point is exactly right
