Agree with your principles and they can even be applied to small spaces. We lived in our apartment for 3 years and did nothing with our patio space because it was small and turned it some storage. Once I decided to upgrade our space, it felt like our living space doubled. Now we had another area for entertaining and the stylish elements extended the living room outward. The color palette was cream and black with green plants for accents and brass accessories. I laid down a jute rug, teak chairs, a drum style beverage table between them and a coffee table in front of us. I got gorgeous black and cream textured outdoor pillows, tall/med/small Smith & Hawken lanterns and tons of plants, candles and trays to make the space feel elevated. Finally we strung lights over the covered part of the patio and hung baby lanterns on the fence so we could have layered lighting elements. The whole thing turned into a gorgeous oasis and gave us so much chic living space for ourselves and guests.
I bought my outdoor set from an estate sale and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. I paid $10.00 for a patio set I've had for years and I'm sure was pre-loved for decades!!!
Excellent advice. I liked my outdoor space but felt it was lacking something. I have a fairly large wooden table outside under a pergola because I entertain there frequently. It was ok but nothing special. Then I remembered my sad broken wedgewood dark blue florentine bone china. I had 12 dinner plates boxed up in the garage while I was doing a remodel. My mother Inadvertently placed something heavy on the box and all 12 broke. A light bulb went off in my head and I hired a mosaic artist to cover the top and sides of the table with the pieces of the broken plates. She did an amazing job and it is gorgeous and unique. A work of art. Now my outdoor space is a show stopper. Looking forward to your video on your outdoor space. I know it will be beautiful.
I’ve paid almost as much for my outdoor furniture as I have my indoor purchases. I used to go cheap but those things didn’t last in the hot Texas sun and ended up having to be replaced. Now I go with iron/cast aluminum and solid wood. Both can be refinished or spray painted as needed. I LOVE being outside. ❤️
I just love that you get so excited about things! It’s catching and inspiring! And what you said about designing for YOU isn’t said enough and everything else needs to follow that.
V!! Oh my goodness! I am decorating my patio as I watch this video, I have owned my wrought iron patio set for about 25 yrs, will be spraying it soon..Thank you, your channel is very informative I’m loving it! Blessings!
This was perfect timing and by happen stance that I came across your channel. We just had an outdoor patio space built to give us more space to entertain outdoors. I have been mixing my furniture between wrought iron, wood, and woven sunbrella furniture set. I'm adding pictures on the wall, plants, fire pit table etc. I don't want just a simple blah outdoor space. Thanks so much for this video. it was perfect timing for me.
@Carmen Inez Torres lol. .. it is what it is 😄 Actually, my official hometown is NY and lived in Indianapolis from age 12 til 23. Left Indy for Sion, Switzerland. VOILÀ my 10 sec biography. I wish you well 🙏🏽🖐
I agree with you 100%, I do a lot of research before buying simply b/c my budget is always tight but there are places where it is worth the investment like high quality cushions, plants, and planters. I love your idea of shopping estate sales for planters, but remind everyone to scrub them well, I recommend with bleach so there is no chance of contamination from residual dead plant matter or disease. Better Homes & Gardens online and via Walmart has some nice outdoor furniture at a very reasonable price point especially now as retailers are transitioning into fall and summer items are on sale. If your heart is set on wickers, then it might be worth up-scaling the source. Thank you Valentina, I really enjoyed this video! Bravo!
Oh Valentina! This has given me so many ideas and joy. We bought a little fixer upper deep in the Galician countryside last year and believe me, it required a lot of vision and still a lot of work. But now the spring is upon us, I really want to get to work on the garden. As you will remember from living in Europe, country houses have lots of decorative stone pieces. We have been fortunate to uncover lots of hidden gems whilst clearing away the rubble (even a vintage farm cart - beautiful). Now I am even more inspired. Thank you..as always!
Yes, I’m definitely interested in content to do with the outdoors! And yes, I really love items outside with patina. When you’ve gone to that beautiful outdoor garden center, I’ve noticed all the lovely planters and decor items that look like they’re from Old World Europe.
Great pointers V! Thank you! We just completed our backyard project with a pool, patio, landscaping and I had to remind my hubby about the “cheaping out” point for furniture - we didn’t just do this massive, beautiful backyard oasis just to put in plastic chairs 🤦🏻♀️😂 We are still working on getting that “old” vibe sprinkled in through pottery but almost there! We live in Houston so one other pointer I would add is think through materials and maintenance. We get extreme heat and humidity, so making sure materials chosen can stand up to the environment with limited maintenance is key!
Valentina I get just as excited over things the same as you. My husband and kids laugh at me, my oldest daughter tells me I have ADD,lol. I especially love planning and changing up my outdoor spaces. Way before they called it bringing the outside in that was the way we lived. I have SAD(seasonal affected disorder) and Lupus so I really love being outside as much as possible. Sometimes it's frustrating because the cold makes my pain more severe and because of the Lupus the heat in Summer makes me very sick so this year I'm trying to design areas that will help me be able to enjoy my yard more often.
Living in a 655 square feet rental apt in San Diego and I love watching Valentina and Jack and getting ideas even though I can't renovate or change anything. They have such elegant esthetic without being stuffy. Love you guys and your family. Sending you many blessings for making our spaces beautiful. Question: Where is the candle holder on your fireplace from? ❤️ it.
@@kayelle8005 oh okay thanks.. I was looking online and found one similar and it was like over $250..and I'm like I'm good. 🤣 come on Target or Ikea get to to it.
Again, love what you say and how you say it! I know people in this time may not have the extra to get what some are able to afford. But you give encouragement, ideas, alternatives to everyone on every level. I’m so impressed by that! My husband and I are able to afford some thing but like you said, we have been married for 25+ yrs, all kids are grown, out on their own. But, there was a time-wouldn’t be able to rub 2 nickels together. Can make huge difference in what you can afford. Just thank you for being so sensitive to everyone! You have a good ♥️!
This is fantastic content, Valentina! I just bought a house and looking to furnish the backyard, so this is perfect timing. I’d love to see more of this! 😍 One more thing to consider when buying furniture: where you live. In Arizona, a lot of furniture or decor is impractical because the sun will cause damage quickly to certain woods, plants, etc.
AGREE! My furniture arrangement stinks in summer, due to the afternoon sun. We are thinking on getting a sun shade for the side of the patio. Also, plants are challenging as well. Right now my geraniums are thriving, but not for long. lol
As a Mom of four, former preschool teacher, etc I have been incorporating 'areas' for years.. Best way to look at spaces, no matter how small or large. And what do you want or need the area to be for your lifestyle? TY 🌞 V for fun tips.. Enjoy ☘️
Loved this, especially living in the Sunshine State of Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 we live most of our time outdoors, even now @5am in the morning, I’m sitting outside drinking my morning coffee watching your video, that’s just what we do here, back in 2020 we renovated the inside of our home and it was only last year that we finally got to doing our outdoor area the way I wanted it, bringing the indoors to the outdoors, we have two separate areas, one with a couch style furniture and the other with a table and chairs, the only thing I need to switch up is the chairs to the table eventually when I find the ones I want, we spend a lot of time in this area of our home and I love ❤️ it. It’s all screened in so I also have the privacy and even if it rains I can still sit out there, I call it My Happy Place because I can look out into our garden and we also have an alfresco area with a garden sail with a iron and marble table and chairs, it does get wet if it rains but it’s lovely to look out there plus there’s plenty of seating if needed. I’d love to see more outdoor projects your doing to your home, I’m not one to switch up my indoors as much as I often switch up my outdoors with different plants and pots. Great video as always V. Have a Great Week ahead. ☀️☀️🪴🌷🌼🌺
Our backyard is so interesting to us. We are more vegetable garden, clothesline, fire pit and spa friendly. Not sleek or expensive. It is comfortable for kids and families. We just love it!!!
Hi Valentina! This vid was a great reminder for caring for outdoor space. Definitely creating interest and looking at ways to divide the space based on how you actually use the space. I've been in my home just over ten years, and the space has been an evolution of a long term vision. It started with planting in the front yard to frame the home, then enclosing the back yard for privacy so it feels like the space is an extension of the 🏡. I then added a deck and plants for interest, and followed it with a fire pit and patio off of the deck. Plants around the deck give it privacy so it is almost like a separate room from the patio and surrounding space, so it's like having two outdoor rooms. I also like to grow vegetables and fruit, so I have planned garden space for that, as well as using trees for natural shade in another area. As I said, this has been an evolution. I agree and know I could do better with more intentional, quality furniture. That's great advice. I'll check out more of the marketplace and estate sales, too! Thank you!
I love rustic and natural spaces that are slightly manicured and have a positive flow. All my yard is deck except a small side yard where I have my firewood pile. This year I’m thinking to take down the wood deck railing and use large planters with mixed plants to border the edges.
I agree with you on so many levels. The two ideas I found most helpful were #1 Time. Give yourself the grace of time before buying. It's worth waiting for. #2 Have a focal point. Keep space interesting with cohesive variety. I made the mistake of buying all black wrought iron gliders, table, chairs, etc. (cohesive but boring) I discovered colorful plants, planters, and cushions to be my new best friends. My favorite though, is the fountain. The birds are grateful for that. 😊 ( I'm excited about your first million followers. Keep up the excellent work)
Hi Valentina! I needed this video TODAY!!! I was debating between buying a set or mixing pieces. I now know what to do and feel confident about creating interest. Please continue to do more videos with outdoor living content. We all need it. Thank you!
Please share any and everything outdoor! I’m obsessed!!! I am all over the place in my backyard…I hints of french, Mediterranean, and Mexican coastal… I live in Texas… so anything goes. My biggest problem right now is fitting everything I would like in the space I have. We have a swimming pool so that takes up a good percentage of the yard.
No you’re right number one is number one the reason I typed it in and got your channel. I just built a cottage and I had the first piece of small land and I started well now I just bought the next piece of small plot land and now it just looks messy and now I need to start all over luckily I’ve only been doing this for four months but it’s really messing me up and you’re right don’t go cheap but you don’t have to spend a lot of money you can find things on craigslist or something
Perfect timing! My husband and I were just 10 minutes ago discussing creating a patio grilling area with seating off our back porch so we could actually use the space, and help disguise AC unit. I'm glad you mentioned planters. Must have!
In the process of finishing watching the video but I had to stop to say that I own the Remarkable 2. I've had it for almost 2 years now and I am in total love with it. I decided to go back to school (University) and realized I went through a whole legal pad my first week just from taking notes! Crazy! I researched and found Remarkable 2! Wow... game changer. From note taking to downloading documents for signatures and beyond. My daughter borrows mine for school all the time. I'm getting ready to buy her one of her own. I highly recommend this product. Quick tip: Unlike the other pad style note technology out there you can actually lay your hand on the surface while you write without any disruption. You don't have to hover your hand over top. 😁 Now back to the video.
I loved this we have a home in San Felipe Mexico it has a bigstone table and benches, on patio. Great ideas …. Will remove benches add chairs. Benches will go on entry. So inspired.
I loveeee.... your style. I'm interested in learning where and how to combine backyard, furniture, planters, how to choose the right plants and flowers. The least maintenance required backyard but classy, tasteful and timeless. 🤔
Love this, I find there's not always as much out there interior design wise for outdoor spaces so while I'm feeling pretty confident in my indoor space, my outdoor space could use a bit of updating. I bought a loft apartment in a renovated building that they changed from a beautiful white Spanish stucco to some grey concrete boards as the walls. My goal this year is to warm the space up and make it feel more alive. I bought an amazing set the year I moved in that looks like real rattan but theres still something missing. It's always fun figuring it out - I'm thinking some aged terracotta. I'm lucky enough to have two balconies and a roof top deck so I get to have way too much fun with that.
Thank you for such great video. We invested in a good quality outside sectional that is so comfortable to sit on. And yes, a good patina pot or planter adds such warmth to an outside space. I so agree .....
I needed this! My outdoor space has been taken over by a 3-year old grandson and all his equipment, and cats who like to sleep on anything I put out there… even in my potted plants 🪴! I want to reclaim my front porch and garden 🪴
Valentina!! I'm so obsessed with your channel. Thank you so much for all you share AND I must say thank you for involving your spouse as well. It has made decorating much more enjoyable in my marriage too.
Living in Upstate NY, it wouldn't be prudent to plant anything until after Mother's Day. That being said, the winter porch decor must go, and a Spring Re-fresh is needed. I always swap out my chair cushions and accent table cover. I arrange my planters, some I leave empty, some I pop in a faux plant. My cottage style insists on bringing in thrifted baskets for texture. Placing a few lime washed pots around, even if empty, gets me amped for the new season. Gardening tools also play into my aesthetic. old tool box, aged watering can....ready!
Hello, I absolutely love your videos and appreciate you sharing your knowledge. I live in Los Angeles and am fortunate to live near both Target, Ikea, and most of the stores you've mentioned. I also frequent a pottery manufacturer that sells to the public. I purchased several pieces from the Teak Warehouse over time that I place on the deck in warmer weather and source cushions from Home Goods to change looks. My kitchen table & chairs are an outdoor set, their black wrought iron and the table has a glass top.
What great timing! Spring has definitely sprung. Just like putting in and caring for a garden, patio / deck decorating can very much be a journey that changes with the seasons. Would love to see how your outdoor space changes over time. Congrats on the new patio set! It looks great. I'm not quite to the patio furniture phase yet - but am looking for ideas. Would also love to see how you visualize landscaping and what it will look like when it's all put together and mature along with various planters / furniture / hardscape pieces. Spent the day stacking firewood, cleaning up the backyard, and using wood as markers of where future features will be so that I can see where those markers are when I look out of windows from the inside. The outdoors needs to look good from the inside, too. ...somehow!
Putting in the markers is a good way to start! My husband and I just finished up redoing our backyard all by ourselves-- we put in a couple trees, built some cobblestone raised garden beds, and put in a lawn! It was a lot of hard work but so rewarding being back there and getting to enjoy the final product. My advice would be to take your time with deciding on the layout of plants, furniture etc. For me personally, the sun is the biggest factor you'll want to take into consideration. Lounge chairs would want to be in the sun, whereas a table or other outside seating might want to be in the shade. In my yard the sun changes throughout the year and gets blazing hot in the summer! So we had to build shade structures as well. But it all goes back to your *vision* of how you want to use the space! And working with the conditions you're given. I'm not an expert gardener but I consider myself fairly experienced, and let me tell you... The plants have been a work in progress. It takes time to get to know what type of plants do well with the different lighting/ soil/ water conditions. Luckily we've only lost two small plants, but others have completely popped off with growth and we're now having to relocate them because they're outgrowing the space! Do your best to research the water and lighting needs, but just expect some flops. A good place to start would be go around your neighborhood and see what type of plants are thriving (paying attention to the direction they're facing in relation to the Sun). Wish I would have done that from the beginning! Good luck on your patio journey! You're going to love it once it's all done!
@@chelzeyrae Thanks for the details! Yes, sun is the most important. Proposed use. Aspect. Sun completely changed overnight when the maple that stood in the middle of the yard was taken down due to being split down the middle. It was in danger of falling over. (Hence the stacking of wood.) Taking it down brought in the sun and created a blank canvas. It's going to take living with it for a while to observe where the sun and shadows fall throughout the day. Thanks for the plant advice. I've also looked at the Arbor Day Foundation's site. One can search by zip code to see which trees are indigenous. No sense in fighting Mother Nature. For smaller plants, online nurseries will also list zones, which is helpful. Also, just because it can grow in my area doesn't mean it goes in the yard. Mint, for example, is a bully and will take over - so that's a confined planter herb. :) Patio and furniture is still further off.
Hi Valentina. I love spending my days outside when the weather gets warmer. I have never had decks before, and I now have a lot of deck space all around the house, plus some patios. I am struggling with furniture placement, how to create shade, how to string lights and what I can place on my deck, planters, etc. without damaging the wood. If you can help with any of this, that would be great. Actually, anything you say is always so inspirational!
I just bought some nice comfortable plastic chairs from IKEA called Skarpo. Made from recycled materials. They are aesthetically pleasing and surprisingly very comfortable. I agree on not having too many plastic pieces as well as matching everything. 😀
Thanks a lot, V! Especially the point "not finding the purpose" was essential for our balcony. We wanted a lounge area AND a dining area for 4 people. But neither really fit there. Thank you for reminding us and now we just focus on a big lounge area! Greetings from Germany!
Hi Valentina😊 I always enjoy your videos. I'm usually having a "late breakfast/brunch" while viewing and of course having a great cup of coffee. Let me indulge and say, I love your choice of "coffee cups!" 😊 I especially liked the one in this video; beautiful. If you knew my husband and I, you'd see our pantry full (well, not entirely lol, with great coffee cups). BTW.. I'm definitely in agreement with you about the outdoor spaces. And having some natural elements are certainly the way to go! I'm in Central Fla btw, and blessed with a beautiful large space all around my home and yard. Plus, a lovely large back lanai facing a beautiful, well maintained, pond that's been well established with wildlife for over 25 years. I'm blessed. Love you guys! You're great. Great family too 💞 I always tell people about your channel. 👍❤️
Love Love Love your channel ❤️ ... this video came at the right time for us. We live in a 100 yr old bungalow & just put up a new, larger garage in another area of the yard. Sooo, we have a complete blank canvas where the old 1 car garage was removed. New outdoor ideas 💡 anyone? (SE Wisconsin)
You’ve the same philosophy for outside & inside! Working w/my local university to become a Texas Master Gardner. I have a small home & outside… want to utilize every square inch and make the areas so pleasant that one can not choose a favorite spot!
I can’t agree with you more, Valentina, about trying to avoid “cheaping out” on outdoor furniture. You get what you pay for, and you’ll likely end up spending extra money replacing cheaper pieces in the long run than investing in the best you can afford to start with. I live in Canada in a town house, and I wanted a good set of a table, chairs, and chaise for my small yard, but I didn’t want to store them off season or move them as the pieces are heavy. I invested in a black powder coated steel set from Hauser, a Canadian furniture company, that makes gorgeous outdoor furniture. I was also able to pick fabrics for seat covers I also purchased from them in colours that complimented my indoor decor scheme. The set has stayed outdoors on my patio for over 15 years, and it still looks amazing. The seat covers look practically new still as these are wrapped in plastic and stored in my shed when not in use. Last year, I replaced a foot pad on one chair leg of my set, and spritzed up a few sections of the chairs with Rustoleum spray paint, but this set was well worth the investment. I take care of it and use a light coating of liquid car wax polish to clean and buff the set each Spring. It’s also increased in value as last Summer, the 48” round table was worth $2000. Love this video today, sweet lady -- you’re infectiously positive and so full of great energy when it comes to decor, but I love it when you talk about outdoor spaces and gardening in addition to your indoor content.
HAPPY SPRING VALENTINA! I was literally just trying to figure out how to upscale my screened in balcony. You are so right about Wayfair outdoor furniture not holding up, as i found out the hard way. Appreciate you and all your enthusiasm.
We are having a time with trees and limbs debris all over yard and whether to remove more trees (in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina) with all the wind storms and tornadoes or hurricanes…to look pretty and be safe…I prefer to keep all trees but the pines shed needles and cones and break easily in spring and fall weather….love the outdoors but not critters and snakes so that’s an issue if you let debris or decor pile up or be too cluttery…love your show
This year we are changing our front door, lights and house number, for something more modern! In the back, we are redoing several garden beds and purchasing a new sectional. Hurry up nice weather! Will not be sitting outside until some time in May. Eastern Canadian here. 😉
I’m planning to add greenery this year. I’ve bought the pots, but now I need to decide what to plant in them. Because I live in Central Arizona, I have to choose plants that do well in the extreme dry heat, but I hate cactus. It’s going to be an adventure.
Purchased outdoor wicker club chairs from Target 10 years ago and they still look like new. The cushions are so comfortable you think you are sitting in your living room. I do have winter storage so they don't stay outside during WI winters.
Hi Valentina, I enjoyed the content you shared on outdoor spaces and would love to to see more. I'm in Las Vegas NV. I use a lot of terracotta because it's beautiful as it patina. Stone is nice too. I agree that having aged and mixed items in your garden is a good look.
How would you decorate an uncovered patio? I am really struggling at finding something that will withstand the elements but it not all be plastic! Recommendations? Love your content!
We have a small outdoor space, but we have set a 4 year time line to really get it together. There is an old deck we want to replace with a patio. We will save to make it exactly what we want.
Hi Valentina, I love your videos. When are you making an updated video of the outdoor furniture? Im trying to get a conversation furniture in my porch , but Im still uncertain on what style to choose. I like light wicker material and modern furniture. What are your thoughts?
I love multiple outdoor spaces Concerns almost as much as indoor…a place for everyone to have their special outdoor cozy corner for coffee bird watching sunbathing….shower off sand from beach…that’s what I need installed now….temporarily a water hose must do
Very nice choices. I like mixing the vintage pottery with the newer pieces. I think it creates interest in the setting. But still I want to see how you address the fifth wall in the yard. Lighting? elements protection? Can you sit outside in a light rain? Also thicker cushions take longer to dry. I like knife edge Sunbrella cushions. Not thick dries fast. Looking forward to the next posting for outdoor decor🥰🤗
I love your videos. Your style ideas are both beautiful and consider pragmatic stuff like usability, longevity, and budget. Thank you! I think you have lots to share and would love to hear advice about cleaning and maintenance 😱 in general. Like how do you keep your home so clean?! 😩 Outside, do you wash those cushion covers often? Maybe my paralysis is lockdown induced but I have so many ideas for my SoCal condo but before I can do anything meaningful, I need to apply more maintenance. I would love to hear how you tackle molehills before they become mountains. (Ok, reality: I have great pieces, but dang they get dusty so I just cupboard them!) 😳🌹💃🤷♀️
My husband and I were finally able to afford the 'nice' outdoor furniture in 2017. My husband says our deck is my living room and he gets the indoor one 🤣 as I would spend all my time out there if I could. Thank you for the info on greenery though as I hadn't thought of that.
@HouseofValentina I always find your videos motivating and beautiful, Valentina. TY. 😘However seeing your pictures of Adirondack-like chairs that totally throw my hips and back into distress, I am so puzzled as to how they were created and what went into their design element. I would love to know and thank you in advance for highlighting that as I think you'd be great for sharing it and your following would appreciate it. If you do so, please first consult with hip and spine surgeons for their input and warnings. Note: Each time I have sat on chairs at airports and then sat several hours to fly somewhere, these types of downward backward leaning chairs have given me so much pain & distress and then brought surgery. Be warned. One should avoid Adirondack chairs if you're concerned for your back and hips health.

Yes! I’m a paper and pen person. Always drawing/writing thoughts, ideas, creations, to do etc. thanks for this video!
❤️ it.
Wow, thank you so much!
I’m pretty sure it’s featured in the Christmas gifts video. Think it was a gift from Valentina to Jack.
One more thing to consider when buying furniture: where you live.
Right now my geraniums are thriving, but not for long. lol
@@maryanncarmody5646 yes, exactly! Metal furniture sitting out in the sun is absolute torture.
As a Mom of four, former preschool teacher, etc I have been incorporating 'areas' for years..
Best way to look at spaces, no matter how small or large. And what do you want or need the area to be for your lifestyle?
TY 🌞 V for fun tips.. Enjoy ☘️
Yes! Please share everything! And give me patina! These were all good points! Thank you. We like excited Valentina! LOL
Love working on my outdoor space, this time of year.
Yes, I agree that a little age and patina are good. In fact, I'm with you on everything here.
My home is in an African Ethnic theme. I am going to recreate my garden into the same theme.
Keep up the excellent work)
I DO want to see excited Valentina! Adorable 🥰
I am excited about getting my outdoor space together as well so my family and I can enjoy it this year!! Great info.
Hi Valentina! I needed this video TODAY!!! I was debating between buying a set or mixing pieces. I now know what to do and feel confident about creating interest. Please continue to do more videos with outdoor living content. We all need it. Thank you!
Your excitement and enthusiasm is infectious! I really look forward to your posts😊❤
This is perfect timing! I'm in the process of designing my outdoor space and was stumped. Please keep this series going. ❤
Patio and furniture is still further off.
Oh yes I'm excited to freshen up my patio. Love getting new pillows and blankets, outdoor candles too.
Please pls do a video on rugs! I’m having tough time figuring out neutral rugs for family room thx💕💕💕
Love excited Valentina. Don't change!
Love outdoor spaces. Please continue sharing your ideas. You two are so fun to watch! Thank you for the wonderful content!
Perfect timing. I am redoing my balcony and am also looking into patio furniture. Thanks for all your ideas.
Yes! Needed this! I’m planning and shopping for my outdoor space rn
Yup, I want to see it 😁
It’s Spring!! Yay! 🌸😍
yes, would love to see a yard makeover.
So happy to see this video!! Please share more outdoor space videos 100%
Love hearing about outdoor spaces!
Great timing! Food for thought while waiting for flowering plants & warmer weather!
I love this video. The presented ideas are new for me! Thanks you. 👍
I loved this video! Very helpful and fun!! Lots of great ideas to decorate my new deck and patio!! ❤❤❤
Can’t wait to see your outdoor area come to life, SO EXCITING😃
Yas time stamps! Thank you. It makes the videos much more digestible
Ready to take these tips into my small space!
Coming from Australia we love our outdoor space. Please do more 🙏🏼
HAPPY SPRING VALENTINA! I was literally just trying to figure out how to upscale my screened in balcony. You are so right about Wayfair outdoor furniture not holding up, as i found out the hard way. Appreciate you and all your enthusiasm.
Now i am subscribing. I just love you and how you are to ur hubby and kiddo.
Would love more gardening and outdoor space videos!
We are having a time with trees and limbs debris all over yard and whether to remove more trees (in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina) with all the wind storms and tornadoes or hurricanes…to look pretty and be safe…I prefer to keep all trees but the pines shed needles and cones and break easily in spring and fall weather….love the outdoors but not critters and snakes so that’s an issue if you let debris or decor pile up or be too cluttery…love your show
I really agree with needing something aged in with your decor and I rarely hear people point that out.
Lots of helpful tips. Thanks Valentina!
Super helpful. What about finding outdoor furniture for really tall people?
Hi Valentina,
I enjoyed the content you shared on outdoor spaces and would love to to see more.
I love everything that you share on your live Amazon channel and these peeks inside your lovely, beautiful home. ☺️
Thank you so much!
We have a small outdoor space, but we have set a 4 year time line to really get it together. There is an old deck we want to replace with a patio. We will save to make it exactly what we want.
Valentina, PLEASE tell me where you purchased the beautiful living room “jute” large area rug with heavy long fringe ?? It’s absolutely amazing!!
Hi Valentina, I love your videos. When are you making an updated video of the outdoor furniture? Im trying to get a conversation furniture in my porch , but Im still uncertain on what style to choose. I like light wicker material and modern furniture. What are your thoughts?
I love multiple outdoor spaces
Concerns almost as much as indoor…a place for everyone to have their special outdoor cozy corner for coffee bird watching sunbathing….shower off sand from beach…that’s what I need installed now….temporarily a water hose must do
Good morning Miss V 😍 love your videos and energy
Thank you so much!
As, a horticulturist landscaped designer myself I took note of some of your ideas.
(Ok, reality: I have great pieces, but dang they get dusty so I just cupboard them!) 😳🌹💃🤷♀️
REMARKABLE! I am loving this outdoor content!!
I'm excited to work on my outdoor space so this was very helpful. Thanks
Can you please share where you bought your black candle holder from on your fireplace, love it!
