i discovered this band when i saw the Tekken movie when i was little.
this song gets me through every day. it makes me forget every bad thing and see the amazing little things :) even when no one can pick up the phone, this song reminds me that lifes what i make it and tomorrow is another chance to turn everything around. no matter how hard life seems. im never alone. i know im someones odd one :)

This song reminds me of the Henry Rollins poem "I Know You"; some sell out in High School to fit in and loose what they are and what they could become. Others, like me, just muddle through and get hammered for it. I hope every kid who doesn't feel like they belong in their own skin hears this...
She provides a backing harmony she isn't meant to be ''heard'' as such she merely just adds an undertone/harmony to Shim as she has in a lot of Sick Puppies songs especially the Tri-Polar songs

i think it was on a video of this song with the lyrics that i saw a lot of comments saying "i'm the odd one" and hearing what inspired this song i think it is very selfish that people could say that. they are lucky enough they were able to type that at all. from the beginning this song reminded me of people who cannot do everything everyone else can. those who many people stare at and give dirty looks to because they don't understand and don't care to.

Guys... I'm slightly confused as to whether they are actually playing and singing in these videos. At the end, the high part, it really doesn't sound like the children are singing, even though it is showing them singing. Anybody help me out here?....
The bassist's mic is turned up louder than the choir so you hear her more.

I doubt the band had any say in, bands rarely do. They write the music then the record producers do what they want to it and the bands can't really do anything about it.

Believe me, I'm a huge sick puppies fan.. But Shimons singing sounds way too similar to the studio version and you if you pause at 3:50 you can see Emma singing but you can't hear her.. Little dissapointed they would use the studio version of his voice instead of the live version being played
