Oh, words can't describe how I fell in love with this song, artist and performance. If a song hits you and you can't explain what just happens inside of you in regards to emotion and feelings, you know it's a masterpiece of music! This one deserves a billion more views.

Do you know this situation? You think there is no new music. Just boring stuff you´ve heard a thousand times before. And than you find something that opens your ears and heart. This is what happened to me when I heard this song. I new, actually it is quite old. But to me it is like a present. And I am just happy that there are young singers making music with heart and soul.

You have a way of giving hope even in the deepest despair
There are very few singers who come even close to the talent of the 80s, 90s, and early 2k. Birdy is an exception. take her and put her in 1995 alongside all the great female talent and she holds her own easily. her style and this song fits that time when the cranberries, hole, no doubt, and many others had the female pop, alt, becoming mainstream. Anyone who remembers watching Buffy, Birdy would have rocked the Bronze.
When somebody can preform a song equally well or even better in a live setting, I'd say that makes them a true musical artist. This applies to this song, imo.

While watching this video I have to remind myself she is only 17 yrs old cause its hard to believe somebody can be this polished of a musician when people have not even finished high school yet. I wonder how great of a musician Birdy will become as she ages and her voice matures. I saw her twice in Spain a few years ago. Both small intimate shows, not large crowds. First thing I did when I came home was buy a sound system from Bose, cause during her concert I realized that I had terrible speakers. True voice of an angel, generational talent with few if any peers......

I've only recently discovered the music of Birdy, and when I watch this video, I experience something I've never experienced before. This video literally brings me to tears every time I watch it. Not just a teardrop or two, full blown sobbing. I can't explain why this happens. I've watched videos that gave me chills, or goosebumps, or even made me perhaps cry just a little, but nothing like the effect this video has on me.
