Mann this song and this band is very underrated as hell
All bands change their sound, its part of maturing and staying relevant. This album is deep on a whole other level than Dressed Up and Tri-Polar. Each album has its own sound. All of them are great and unique. Thank you Lily Harris for your awesome comment and putting words to my thoughts.
This song grew on me...and especially since I can relate to it. It's like loving and letting the wrong person into your life. And you know better. But you still do it anyway.

I don't think they're trying to change it. I think they're just trying to push the boundaries of what they already do. For me, this is my second favourite album. The first being Tri-Polar. Even though my second favourite Sick Puppies song is now "Run". Second only to "Riptide".

Every album the Sick Puppies made with Shim was fantastic, Fury is easily their worst album. Welcome to the Real World was their best. I can't wait for Shim to start producing some more music, if he ever does

I hate to say it, but I might agree with you on that one. This album seems a step away from Tri-Polar and Dressed Up As Life.
yeah its not the same as their other stuff, but if there was no diversity between songs and albums, it wouldn't be as amazing. the whole point of sick puppies and their music, in my opinion, is change, so if all their songs were the same it would kind of defeat the purpose, no?
I tend to agree with him. I thought Tripolar was fantastic, but this album is vastly different from it, and to a certain extent it's a bummer.
