The old must crumble and fall in order for the New Earth to come. Challenging times, indeed, for many people but if you can grow most of your own food and have a skill to barter and trade, and live in a small community, you will thrive.

Years ago when a school spring break left me alone with no plans, I went to Jamaica -- alone. Despite my better instincts of playing it safe (Montego Bay was dicey) I ventured on a daytrip to Kingston and pay homage to Bob Marley. Walked in and around his house, 🎉across the area where Bob reigned in soccer. Toward the back of the house was a small bedroom nook where Bob slept. On the wall above the bed area where Bob's head would've been the guide pointed out the bullet holes in the wall...left there after Bob had been shot at -- while in bed one night. Can you just imagine the soulless individual that feels only threatened by Marley's music??
To not even feel part of it. Sad, sick world that is not going to ever change. At least
    be kind to animals.

My dad passed away in 2020, and for his funeral, they asked us to select 5 songs… at that time I realised how tough it is to find 5 songs that define a person! Since then I’ve been trying to find mines… what a challenge! But this one came as an easy answer, this song touched my soul so deeply ❤ long story short, only 4 more to find 😅

The pained expression on Bob's face says it all. Awesome performance; this is the way this track is meant to be listened to. Everyone who loves Catch a Fire should check out the original Jamaican recording without the overdubs; way more urgent. Crucial.
