This live in-studio performance was made for London's Top Gear Radio Show before performing live for BBC Channel 2′s Old Grey Whistle Test. They perform "Stir It Up" and "Concrete Jungle" during this set. This is one of only 2 or 3 times where Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Bunny Wailer are captured on video performing together as The Wailers. @@bigben5071 Wayne Perkins does the solo on the "Catch A Fire" album. There's a raw Jamaican version and the version that was released for the international audience. They overdubbed a few of the tracks on the album to make it more palatable for a rock audience. The "Catch A Fire" deluxe double cd has both the international and Jamaican versions, and you can hear the difference.

Bob in his majesty is the epitome of what can happen when two people come together( Bob is African and British). It is what made his influence so poignant(yes his father was a deadbeat dad and busy impregnating many young girls on the island). He was teased as a young man for being too white and no matter what he did he was not black enough for many...however there is something profoundly poetic about his background and in my opinion what makes him all the more influential in the movement he and these brilliant men created! Because at the end of the day we are all created in the image of the creator and all bleed the same color. Simply Humanity any way you slice it green yellow white dark or brown! This jam in this place will always give me chills

Bunny wailer said it wasn't live. They were lip syncing. If it were live, I'd say this is the cleanest live show ever sonically and the sound man would be the best sound man in the the history of live music. LoL. Either way this is amazing

I don't think they are actually playing this live-I believe it is a recording they are synching to. Check out the drums. Still a great song.
Greatest group reggae is real music not noise like rock and punk no natural inner soul of the human inner man but telling a true story voice rhythm and melody inner voice of a suffering people somebody have to talk the oppressor know from the get go so death and suffering is the result reggae is the voice of the suffering people
