Honestly the most important players on fiba rosters aren't the NBA players, it's the supporting players that are coming from the euroleague. They're more used to the international rules and don't need time to readjust.

I still believe that having more NBA or former NBA players on your team is a big factor in winning the whole thing though. Team USA usually wins gold for a reason 🤷♂️

I agree that NBA talents who learned Basketball in Europe are very important, just look at the German Wold Championship team that had 4 current and one former NBA player on the roster. But there is also a reason why Euroleague Player Voigtmann started over NBA player Mo Wagner, or why Andi Obst (Euroleague Player) started over Isaac Bonga (former NBA player).

I'm a Mavs fan, so I've watched Luka play a lot of basketball.
The main thing I've learned is to never count a Luka led team out.
Injuries, huge talent gaps on the rosters, he is one of the only people on Earth that can overcome that stuff.
