Even lynchy would have put it in the wall. Burnout cars "ONLY" have front brakes. Those front brakes need to be 100% and Toast's brakes have never been 100% it still would have gone into the wall. 600Hp (at idle) and no brakes.... this happens.

Yo, those cement barriers really did their job. With no brakes, who knows how fast wheel speed, and no vision, it would have been a very different story for the crowd. I'm happy they take safety seriously.
Jesus, do they not own a torque wrench? They should follow the advice that I learned from my grandpa: bolts are either installed and fully torqued to spec, or not in at all. This could have killed him if he was drag racing.
@@mayshack Yeah. I'am a former rally mechanic, we torque every single bolt and nut.. We even put white paint stripes on the bolts so we could check them quickly on the service if they had come loose. (Broken paint) We wonn alot of races and wonn the whole series a couple of times, we never had a mechanical failure and we had never eny parts falling off the car.. Id be curious if they are running the stock camaro vacuum brake setup in toast. If so with that super charger those brakes won't ever work doing burnouts. Never create enough vacuum for the booster while one footing the brake and another on the gas.

Hes got this big burnout pad, then moves barriers in so tight that its the size of a postage stamp! Toasts creates a ton of smoke, and because of the small size of the pad there is no room to get out of the smoke, low to no visibility... hits the wall.... no brakes is no excuse
Competition burnout pads are about that size, it's supposed to be challenging. The brakes failing are not his fault, and even if it was the full size pad there's no telling when the brakes would have failed, it could have been just a couple feet from the wall and there's no saving that

Is there wall detection tech that can get through that smoke? Like a digital red zone of where impact is eminent so u can steal away? I get mad anxious watching u guys ripping now u can't see a thing

I believe, The brakes were never too good in this thing….It’s one thing to have a car with a massive hp engine, but if it doesn’t stop properly, it’s always gonna end badly!!!

I was at the show, Cleetus lost his brakes because his front caliper bolts were loose and fell off, the other side was loose too but still on.
Sounds like someone dropped the ball as in not finishing a task. Loose bolts? wow

Parts are cheap and there are a hundred frame machines around in Florida that can sort it out.
They tubed the whole front of the car so it’s probably fine structurally, cosmetically not so much. New fenders and front bumper and it’ll be fresh.

Sadly I was there in person. One of the calipers came off and was left behind on the pad because the bolts backed out and snapped.
