    Wow the subbie looked before Exo was applied. After Exo it looks fantastic

    Wow! That hood looked amazing 👏! I really like how long you can let that sit before removing. Definitely can make the process go much faster.

      Thank you! Yes it's my favorite coating as far as application process goes. You can apply it to almost a 1/3 of an entire vehicle at a time in the right conditions!

    Do you coat the glass and plastics with either crystal or exo? What about lights?

    • @high-defdetailing1485
      @high-defdetailing1485  Год назад +1

      Glass - no. Use Gtechniq G1 or another dedicated glass coating. You can coat plastics and lights with either coating, but I like using gtechniq C4 on the textured plastics!

    I have completed Crystal Serum Light and EXOv4. It has been a week. Should or can I put the second coat of EXOv4 or is it too late to have a benefit? I missed where you said it was recommended as a two-coat. Enjoyed your videos by the way. Very informative.

      Thanks for the compliment and congrats on applying the coatings already! Since you've already done one coat of Exo I'd just leave it alone and apply a second coat a year or so down the road if you need to refresh it

    Hi Sir, question, if using the EXOV4 as standalone is it necessarily to throw away the applicator and towel after use? Thanks!

    • @high-defdetailing1485
      @high-defdetailing1485  Год назад

      I always recommend tossing the applicator and towels after applying a ceramic coating. You can use the other side of the applicator for something else if needed though!

    I’ve had a few instances using CSL+Exo where it’s almost like the CSL would get “stuck” on a small area where the rest of the panel. And the Exo would “stick” as well.
    Could this be a result of flash time, contaminated area, too much product etc?

    • @high-defdetailing1485
      @high-defdetailing1485  2 года назад +1

      Sounds like you’re letting it sit on the panel for too long, and/or your humidity is too high. Once the applicator is primed you should only need about 1 eye dropper full of product for a full panel like a door. Hope that helps!

    Also, would you put on your wheels or is that a different coating?

    • @high-defdetailing1485
      @high-defdetailing1485  Год назад

      I would check out a specific wheel coating like the Gtechniq c5! You can also put Crystal serum light on your wheels but C5 will go on very easy.

    What's the benefits of applying this on top of the crystal serum light.

    • @high-defdetailing1485
      @high-defdetailing1485  2 года назад +1

      It adds better water and dirt repellency. I’ve noticed panels stay looking a little cleaner between washes with Exo on it. I also like the look of it. It’s a bit “warmer” of a glow.

    What kind of light do you use for Blue painted cars? I bought a Blue UV light but I can really see anything with this light.

    • @high-defdetailing1485
      @high-defdetailing1485  Год назад

      You would not want to use a blue light on a blue car. Any bright LED light will be fine. I like using the scangrip hand held ones

    How long should I wait until I can add the second layer of exo v4?

    • @high-defdetailing1485
      @high-defdetailing1485  Год назад

      1-2 hours after the initial application. The new version of Exo (v5) will only require one layer! I usually just do one with v4 anyway 😎

      You’d be surprised how long you can let Exo sit…I’ve done 1/3 of a vehicle at once before and let it sit for 10+ minutes with no issue. Just make sure your humidity levels are low or close to 50%
