My daughter had retinoblastoma at 18 months. She is now 10 and I will be having her watch this , you are inspiring. Keep talking about it there is always a little girl/boy who needs to know they are not alone!
I was shot in my left eye with a Bebe gun when I was 4 years old. I've never known anyone else that has gone through what I have gone through until I found your video and one other, this past year. I'm 25, now and slowly accepting it. I covered half my face for 10 years up until last February. Thank you for sharing your story. You are most certainly helping people 💕
I've been there, and still feel like that sometimes. Just try to think positive about it, it helps. I'm completely blind in that eye. To me, though, that's not the part that sucks. It's the movement of my prosthetic and how there's hardly any, so to other people it's so noticeable.
Yo you da realistttt. I lost my eye when I was 17 to acanthamoeba keratitis. It’s so hard to talk about and like you’re mad cool for doing this. ❤️❤️❤️ PROTIP: y’all who are struggling with doing makeup: it takes TIME it takes PRACTICE but also a magnifying mirror and good lighting help a lot. Don’t get frustrated, you’ll find your method. It took me a long ass time to relearn how to do eye makeup but patience and practice is key!!!
Love you guys! Thank you for your ongoing support. I will try to comment back to everyone who comments within the first hour because I have to start work. Have an amazing day! xoxo
Dianna Moore you are awesome😀 I love that you share something personal 🤗I cant wait for the next video Just curious will you be doing any cooking videos 🍝or maybe a simple makeup routine soon?😊📸🙃🖤😈
The info about the coral implant and how you can move your prosthetic eye is incredibly intriguing and informative. Thank you for sharing that. I had no idea that was possible. I am very impressed with how much you can move the eye.
You are a strong survivor. I never knew cancer can grow in an eye, thanks for that quick lesson. Continue being you, beautiful and strong. New subscriber from El Paso.. Tx.
u are gorgeous girl!! I'm an optometrist in the uk, and as soon as i saw the title i clicked quicker than ever!!!!! thank you so being this open xxx lots of love from london!
ur so sweet, i can't wait to see more videos from you! :) i test a family regularly in the uk, a man and his two children all had retinoblastoma, as its not that common i haven't seen it apart from this one family! the man had an eye enucleated and the children didn't, so i can see the scarring inside their eyes where it was lasered! i absolutely love my job! its very satisfying!
I'm so happy I found you! I blinded in my right eye myself in a freak bottle opening accident April 2016 (I was 22) & ever since then, I've felt so isolated because it felt like so many other people with monocular vision aren't super open with that info in the public, so WE NEED MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU! I still have my blind eye (it is still very shrunken and turned out) so I was given a scleral shell to help me look more normal. It was super cool hearing you talk about your prosthetic, because I can totally relate with so many of the things you mentioned. Especially training yourself to look in one direction more (left, for me.) & the depth perception issues too! Thanks for making these types of videos & please continue (especially the makeup-type videos, because the struggle is real.) & also thanks for making me feel less alone - you might have inspired me to make videos on the subject too one day! And if you by chance would like to be friends... that would be awesome. :) Take care!
My left eye is not seeing things well so I have to wear a eyepatch on the right to make the left eye see things more than my right (I hate it I have to wear it everyday) I feel like a freak
I lost my right eye playing softball, it feels so good to know people are speaking out, cause I’m not that strong to speak out about it! But I would love to ask you more questions! I admire you and thank you for speaking out
I would’ve never thought that’s not your eye what an amazing prosthetic! You are a natural beauty and I am so happy you are cancer free I’m so inspired by your positivity in this video. Hoping the best for you and your channel!
Really happy you’re okay. Cancer is such a bitch, but you’re so lucky you overcame it. Keep spreading the positive vibes. I really admire people like you!
I remember you mentioning you would one day share your journey about your eye in one of your videos a while back. Possibly back in 2014 (when I first subscribed) lol. I just wanted to quickly say how amazingly proud I am that you have made it to a place in your life where you feel comfortable talking about your eye story. Truly inspirational and informative! 💕
I akso had retinoblastoma as a kid and i appreciatte this video so much i wish i had access to this video when i was 10 and older , im 25 now ! Thank you
Right!!? I feel the same way! That's why I'm making these now so the kids who are like us now, can have someone to talk to and feel okay with themselves!
I’m one of those people who normally can tell right off the bat if someone is humble/ a good person and I get the BEST vibes from you! YOURE BEAUTIFUL and your humbleness/personality makes you even more pretty. Be well , xoxo❤️
Man, I love how people is being more open about this kind of things that can make you look "less perfect", but for me is amazing real people share their experiences, I'm really glad that people like you don't try so hard to fit in a society that can be so shallow some times.
i agree! "perfection" isn't a thing and shouldn't be the goal for someone. i'd rather be my imperfect self than anyone else :) thank you for all your kind words! xo
I just want to say thank you for sharing this video. You have no idea how much it will help younger kids. I tell you this since my 2 year old daughter has been diagnosed with retinoblastoma. I'm scare that she will get bullied and she will feel so heartbroken. I thank RUclips and you for uploading this. You are beautiful and know you are making a change. ❤
just show her my videos and hopefully she will be strong! unfortunately, one eye or not-- bullies exist. but i know you'll teach her how to be strong :) best of luck babe!
😱😱😱 I was shookt yo are so beautiful. Thank God I have found you here. I also have the same condition like you. I am 18 now and I have never been in an operation, because I am from the Philippines and it is somewhat hard to process in here. I had the same condition when I was only 9 months and I grew up with only one eye. Until now I am really used to it. It is normal for me now if anybody will ask me about my condition. Thank you, you are such an inspiration for me. I hope I will be brave and capable like you to have that operation and that artificial eye. God bless you more. 😘😍😍
Hi Diana, My name is Luna, I’m 13, and seeing your videos about your eyes have just giving me this comfort of knowing someone is the same as me and it just makes me feel less alone. I have this slight of fear of prolonged eye contact or just getting stared because I assume I am being judged or maybe dazing off and you notice it more. I’ve never someone in real life with a prosthetic eye too and I love that you have shared your story. I just wanted to thank you for making me feel less alone and somehow accepted and like I can relate to you more. I know your eye in no way defines, you are so cute and funny and you have just made me happy and again I wanted to say thank you. :)
I've followed you since you would film those outfit of the days and when you had red hair.. It's amazing how transparent you're being.. you have always been true to yourself and have never changed.. I love that.. ♡♡♡
My daughter who is turning 12 on Wednesday has a prosthetic eye .. I am so glad found your channel so she can get some inspiration from a beautiful person whom she can relate with 💕 thank you for sharing
Diana Moore I did 😃 she is so excited and we are both following you on Instagram as well ... she was born with microphthalmia and had it removed when she was 3 weeks old ... she just wanted me to share that with you :)
I was born with something that I do not remember what it’s called but I can see in only my right eye. Supposedly it’s really rare and I’m just super used to it because I’ve lived with it all 13 years of my life. I play hockey and it’s kind of hard because people could get really to hit me from my left and I could get really hurt. I want to play it anyway because I’m stubborn and hockey’s my passion😂. Anyway, my vision in my right eye is amazing. Btw I hope your daughter has lots of people by her side through all of this!!
Thank you for sharing your story. My son was diagnosed with retinoblastoma on Friday and today he got his surgery to remove his right eye. He’s doing amazing I never met anybody that I know of with a prosthetic eye. This is all new to us. My son is 19 months I know he’s young so he won’t really remember what he went threw but I know he will ask questions and we plan on telling him the truth.. thank so much
I love that you do these type of videos , because there is so many people out there that aren't confident enough to talk about this . You give them confidence girl ! ☺
I'm an optometry student and just the other day I saw a patient with a prosthetic eye. Some of the prosthetics look absolutely amazing, kudos to the ocularists. It's cool to hear the personal story from a patient's perspective. Keep up with the positivity!
that's awesome you make video about it, I know this guy who also got an fake eye and sometimes he got "tears" or fluid (I'm not sure) that comes of from the side he got his eye removed. I wanted to ask him questions but he seems a bit shy about it, so I don't talk about it (not like it's a big deal) And I couldn't stop thinking about the guy from Pirates of Caribbean who constantly loose his eye.
Wow! You REALLY shouldn’t give those bullies a second thought! You are a strong, intelligent, stunning human who is an inspiration to so many. You keep making videos and know how many young people you are helping, who are in the darkest place. Much respect to you x
You are beautifullll. I too am blind in one eye and its nice to see someone out there to talk about it so openly and spread some positive vibes. Much love.
You are beautiful Diana, I swear if you didn't mention this to people they wouldn't even know. I couldn't tell wow. God bless you ,keep up the good work. Your enthusiasm and strength will help alot of people. Stay true 💗
You slay with or without makeup! Much respect for sharing your story, glad they found it on time and that you are cancer free. Blessings from Puerto Rico 🙏🏼
My 2 year old daughter has a scleral shell. Thank you so much for talking about this and educating the public. It helps to normalize kids whose eyes don't necessarily look the same the other kids. You are inspirational. Thank you so much for this
yes!! that's what i want to do! i want to normalize it!! i hope when your girl grows up she is as accepting as her mother is. i'm sure she will be. thank you so much!
I am a medical student.... I just read retinoblastoma and enucleation for my test..... Thanks for sharing ur life after prosthetic eye so openly.... More power to you girl! ❤️💪🏻
Thank you for sharing your story! If anyone is interested , coral orbital implants work because the porous material of the coral is very similar to bone, so the body recognizes it as such and over time the eye socket tissues and muscles will grow in/around it and it becomes part of the body. This allows the prosthetic which sits on top of the coral implant to have some motility.
Its good to see that people like you is such a happy person while other people who have a perfect body like we have two eyes but still complain and feel unlocky youre so inspiring i love you!
My grandfather has a prosthetic eye too that happened at the same age as you. And this has really educated me a lot as I have never really asked him about it. Love your videos too Diana
You incredible woman! I lost my left eye when I was about 8 years old. I always kept it a secret but after just last week I lost my scleral shell which meant I went into full blown panic attack as I had no back up. I decided that the anxiety over losing it was not worth it and decided to write my blog and tell everyone. Its so amazing to find a community of people who have been through the same thing.
Wow you are so strong and amazing! I honestly don't know what I would do if I lost mine but your story is so inspiring. If you don't mind me asking, and please don't take this wrong or anything-- but how did you lose? i really can't wrap my brain around it. Please share that blog post with me!!! It's great to see how you have turned a seemingly horrible situation into a learning and growing experience for not only yourself but OTHERS!!! YOU GO GLEN CO CO!!
Diana Moore haha I know it sounds like something out of a movie but I have to take my shell out every night as I wear it over my eye (which is what I describe as a shrunken eye). I took it out and left it on the counter on a tissue forgot about and then the next morning I flushed it 😱😱😱😱
I think you are super brave! And also Thank you for educating us on this topic! In life we are ALL battling something. No need to be ashamed, you are beautiful just the way you are. Can’t wait for new videos 🌸
Holy crap! How did this end up in my feed? I had retinoblastoma when I was one year old, too. (This was in 1959.) Six months later, I had a staph infection in the socket. The treatment was to surgically remove the infected tissue. The result is that my ocular prosthesis appears sunken. My implant is a blown glass sphere. For me, the bullying was worse since my eye is definitely not normal in appearance. I really had to look to determine which eye is the prosthetic. You have more natural movement in yours than I have in mine. Anyway, all I can say is, you go girl. I'm subscribing.
Omg I couldn’t tell i am so shocked how god put your video in my path bc my father in law juz lost his eye in a accident in January n was doing ok but a couple weeks ago he started getting depressed so am so glad i came across ur channel u are so brave i admire your courage thank u so much for sharing
Sooo inspiring! I was born without my left eye and have a prosthetic... I’m 14 now and I’ve been so insecure about it lately. Thank you for making this video, it’s so great!! ❤️
I really love this video and this Friday I am getting my prosthetic eye fitted and you have made me more comfortable and confident that it will look good. At the moment I have a prosthetic and have it about 10 months. The guy who done it done a terrible job on it and has since retired. I done allot of research and found a guy in Manchester England who I am also told is one of the best there is to do it so I feel good about this:) I have been to him twice already and on Friday I will have it fitted. Even this guy could not believe how bad of a job the first guy had done. The shape was different, the colour of the iris was completely different and the white part was a different shade. From the first time I went to this guy in Manchester I knew (felt) straight away that I was dealing with a professional. I am really looking forward to Friday. This happened to me 16 months ago from a bad injury. It was really hard dealing with it at first and especially the fact I was always a really confident person by nature and living my whole life with both. I am 32 now. I had Googled about prosthetic eyes that look good and this somehow led me to you haha. I am glad now lol. I was tired of people telling me how well my eye looked and that you would barely notice. I know people are trying to be nice by saying this to me and I would also say this to people if it were them but I would always turn around and make it straight and say that I know it's not the same and it's a really bad job. I would also say that I am going about getting it done better because I always believed it could be done better and seeing you if absolute proof of that. I am not looking for perfection but if mine looks anywhere near as good as yours does then I am more that happy I can deal with that so thank you for the video and I have also looked up your Instagram page and followed you and sent you a message 😉😂😂😘 All my life I have had 20/20 vision but about 4 months after this injury the vision in my good eye started going blurry and after about 4 days I was almost blind so I was straight back to the hospital. They kept me in for 6 days and had me on a steroid drip the whole time I was there. A long story short but what happened was my immune system was attacking the bad eye then over rided and started attacking my good eye it was so scary because I thought that I was going to end up completely blind. It's called sympathetic opthalmia what I got and I would have went blind if it wasn't treated. Basically what it is is inflammation of the eye Its a disease that is very very rare in these cases but knowing my luck I had to get it. They were able to reverse it and now my eye is perfect again but I just have to stay on medication called cellcept for the rest of my life. Cellcept is an immune surpresant. At first my dosage was high but the last time I had an appointment everything was perfect and the doctors reduced my dose which is a good thing :) You also look great in your photos and that is one thing that I would not do right now because my prosthetic really really stands out and looks bad but yours looks great so after Friday when I get my new one I hope to be able to take photos again. Maybe one day if you ever decide to visit Dublin in Ireland we can meet up and talk about our problems haha😂😂😜 also I will send you photos on Instagram of how my new one turns out lol if that's OK with you. Sorry about the essay
I think its wonderful of you to share this, especially for young people. I’m sure it will help a lot of people. I have vision issues myself and I really admire your strength and positive attitude. You’re a real inspiration! Thanks for all you do to encourage others. Best wishes.
I love your energy and personality, you’re nice to listen to. I work with a guy who was in a car accident and now has one fake eye as well. I enjoyed learning a bit about this.
I remember when people used to make up stories about my fake eye and ask all sorts of creepy questions, or even looking at you weirdly as if you are some kind of freak. I was really insecure about it for a long time, especially with girls, i really thought i was ugly or something lol. But eventually ive gotten through with it and now im comfortable with myself and not bothered at all with having only one eye.Thank you for sharing this, you are so sweet!
You said you’re like “55%” blind for your other eye and wear glasses? My daughter was born without vision (completely blind) in one and in the other eye she needs glasses but since she only one almost two and can only speak a few words and sentences. We don’t know much. Do your glasses help? Does it affect your everyday life? Have you grown pretty much accustomed to it? Can you legally drive? Did it affect you during school? Did you have to sit up front in class? Hard time reading?
Ruth Villa I have some eye disorder. I don’t remember what it is called but it’s really rare and most of the people that have it are blind in both eyes. I got lucky and I can see in one eye. Btw I hope your daughter has an amazing life. It’s hard at first at school but after people meet her they’ll know what an amazing person she is!!
Hi! I know I'm not her, but I hope I can help a bit. I was born with a cloudy cornea but I've never been able to see with my right eye for as long as I remember and I also wear glasses. Because she was born blind, she'll grow up being used to not seeing. A lot better than someone who lost their sight later in life so yeah I've grown pretty much accustomed to it and she will too. It doesn't affect my everyday life asides from minor things like running into thing on my right side when I'm not paying attention, not being able to see 3D movies, and not being as good with sports involving depth perception. I was able to get my license which doesn't have any extra restrictions. I did have to take a longer behind the wheel test just to show that my driving skills compensated for my vision. During elementary school my right eye was smaller than my left because I wasn't able to use it so classmates would usually point it out. After explaining it to them just saying I had a lazy eye, we'd just go back to doing what ever we were doing. In middle school they either didn't seem to care as much or didn't ask not wanting to be rude. By high school I had a sclera shell that helped make my eyes look the same so only really close friends notices. Something I wish I did was talking to a teacher and asking if I could be put on the right side of the class instead of just being able to not see lol. I didn't think I'd write this much, I hope this helps. With such a caring mother like you she'll have an amazing life :)
I just want to say that you are beautiful and perfect just the way you are. You are so brave and I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and you wouldn't be the person you are today (an amazing person) if you wouldn't hadn't through the struggles you have gone through. It has only made you that much stronger!
I think you are amazing! I lost my inner ear due to Meneieres Disease, that led to a Labyrinthectomy. I can relate how you lost your perception. I cannot hear in which direction sounds come from. So many times people have looked at me funny, when they call my name, and I do a 360 to look where they are. Anyway, just wanted to say you are beautiful and very positive. 🦋 Thanks for sharing your story!
lol same!! i make my friends say "RIGHT!" if they're handing me anything and i cant see them haha. well diane, you are amazing and i'm so thankful you shared your story with me.
Watching your videos I wish I found them earlier, I struggled all my life with having one eye so many people bullied me because of it, and I wish I saw these videos before thank you so much , someone like me really benefits from people like you . THANK YOU 😊
Well this video motivated me so much cause I have problems with my eyes too. Actually not that bad like losing my eye but so close of that. You're so powerful and gorgeous and I need to thank you. After this I learned to embrace myself and not to demoralize me anymore. Thank you again!❤❤
I was diagnosed with Retinoblastoma at age 2 and lost my left eye, I’m almost 18 now and still refuse to take it out and clean it myself😂 kudos to you for being so brave! You’re beautiful and I’m glad you’re so comfortable with yourself❤️
girl use yo hands!! get down and dirty!!! hahaha jk. but i totally get you!!! what helped me was i took it out, and stared in the mirror for about 10 minutes. not saying anything. until i finally said something i didn't think i would say. i called myself beautiful. and from that moment on i believed it. i hope nothing but the best for you babe!
hey girl, I just want to thank you so much for speaking so honestly about your experience! I am currently playing the waiting game to get my right eye removed also. I have been blind since birth in that eye and have had many complications. My pupil "leaked" so to speak(the short version of the story) and my whole iris turned black! since then it has proceeded to turn white, and by white I mean WHITE! it almost glows in the dark hahaha. I'm so excited to get my prosthetic as it will be a lot more natural looking than what I have now but I'm also so nervous! your video has really put me at ease on what I would call one of my down days. you're absolutely stunning and I want to thank you for flipping my day around xo
You look amazing! My mom had her eye removed in her early 20s, she had a tumor. I always forget she has a prosthetic eye but I totally recall seeing her “old” eyes in her drawers 😂😂. She had her eye made in PHX AZ and it looks amazing.... 👍🏼
So much respect for you.💜💜 I have an online friend from iceland shes around 30(im 26 in case youre curious).she has a fake eye too.she had eye cancer and would bleed a lot. She has many people who think shes lying which is fucking sad because who would lie about that? Her eye is made of glass. She didnt get the surgery as an infant though she got her eye removed in july.they originally had a donor eye first put in but then she was getting sick and sadly her body refused it.so she had no choice. Shes an incredible person with a beautiful heart, seems like you are as well. 💜
I am partially blind in my left eye, born that way due to optic nerve developmental issues. Was walleyed, got strabismus sugery which helped a lot but overcorrected a bit so now eye is slighly crossed in. Never knew so many others have dealt with similar issues. Always was insecure about it. Inspiring and I love all your videos.
I USED TO WATCH YOU WHEN I WAS IN HIGHSCHOOL AND WASNT INTO RUclips AND I NEVER SUBSCRIBED AND YOU JUST CAME ONTO MY SUGGESTIONS AND NOW I WANNA CRY CUS IM SO HAPPY I MISSED YOUR BEAUTIFUL FACE OH MY GOD
Kudos to your ocularists! We have similar history. When I was born,my Mom noticed that I had a white streak in my left eye. When she looked closer, she noticed my pupil didnt change size with light changes.Since that was early 1955, they knew very little about the issue, and presumed that it was cancerous, and could affect my right eye someday,so it was removed.Im 64,and have had 4?prosthetics in my life.I too have an implant. It is plastic.Glenn Reams ocularist did my last one,it is about 15 yrs.old.Yours looks very natural!
Today as I got on YT your video was recommended to me and I couldn't be more thankful...my 2 year old grandson was born with this tiny little dot in his right eye that no one in our area knew anything about, but was assumed it was definitely cancer. So began our journey around the world to find answers. Our first stop when he was 5 weeks old was Wills Eye institution with Dr. Carol Sheilds in Pennsylvania where we found out is wasn't cancer but something even more rare, a Iris cyst. It was so rare that my grandson was only 1 of 5 ever seen in the states, it was even featured in a medical magazine, even made the cover. He is blind in his right eye, and just had his 18 surgery with a doctor from London who has been our angel. His eye definitely looks different, the right eye is now blue from 2 cornea transplants and the complete removal of the Iris, and his left eye is green. People notice it, especially kids. They often stare and whisper, which breaks my daughters heart because it's not anything he can control. I can't wait to show her this video of you. You are so positive and uplifting, and I am for ever thankful that I came across this video!
Just found your channel, Thank you so much for sharing this. You’re so brave for shedding light on this topic. You should have never been bullied. Xoxo
Hello Diana, New Subbie here I'm really loving all of you vlogs, I also have a glass right eye as well, I have had it since I was 18 months old, an accident with a Tupperware lid, I am still wearing glass, as the acrylic ones tend to give me hassles, I just realized you were 18 months old as well, freaky, keep up the great work mate, so glad to of found you xoxo ...
I never had a fake eye but I have had 3 corneal transplants in my left eye. I had a bacterial infection and lost almost all vision in it. People always got creeped out because my eye would always be red. I know it’s not exactly the same thing. Thank you for talking about this
Thanks for the video. I am waiting for my prosthetic eye to be finished. In the mean time I have what is called a conformer. It is like a prosthetic eye but it is just a clear dome. It helps to keep the eyelid the correct shape while I am waiting for the new eye. Sometimes when I sleep the conformer comes out and I have to look for it when I wake up. I'm told this will be less of a problem with the new eye because it customized for me. When you sleep does your eye ever come out? Has it ever come out at other times due to activity? Also do you wear it when swimming?
I have a prosthetic eye as well I get bullied so much it makes me wanna cry 😭. My parents thought I was gonna be blind but nope was born half in half. I’m glad I found these videos makes me feel better.
Your story is so amazing I never knew about it until I saw your videos your personality is so strong for educating everyone and helping those who go through the same, love your videos bless you beautiful
Hii, I love to see ur videos ..I too have retinoblastoma at the age of 3 my I was removed n now I am 23yr old and sometimes it is very hard to answer the questions that ur eye is not as perfect as the other😔but I think everyone has it's own journey soo me,.....
I actually have eye problems myself, which is another reason why i watched this. 💜 I was born completely blind. Apparently my retinas were detached.so soon after i was born closer to when i was a year old i had cryo surgery to reattach my retinas. I am legally blind. People tend to forget about my sight issues because i get on so well. Looking at me you wouldnt know. Which i guess is why they tend to forget. Hopefully you dont mind me sharing 💜.
Let me know if you have any questions I didn’t answer and I will make another video!
Diana Moore You are so beautiful ❤
Ure gorgeous 😍
Diana Moore it's good that your eye can move , my eye totally can't move
My story is same as yours babes. But my prosthetic doesn't move.stay strong and stay blessed
Aku.Zø Same. It makes me so sad.

#Respect.
The info about the coral implant and how you can move your prosthetic eye is incredibly intriguing and informative. Thank you for sharing that. I had no idea that was possible. I am very impressed with how much you can move the eye.

ur so sweet, i can't wait to see more videos from you! :) i test a family regularly in the uk, a man and his two children all had retinoblastoma, as its not that common i haven't seen it apart from this one family! the man had an eye enucleated and the children didn't, so i can see the scarring inside their eyes where it was lasered! i absolutely love my job! its very satisfying!
trisha60 oh how interesting! I have read this isn’t hereditary so that’s such a unique story
trisha60 im partially blind therefore I'm useless and a burden
Natural Selector don’t ever think that! You can’t think like that.
Rayna G I'm also partially blind I want die
Omg. Make a video about your story. That's crazy
I was born blind in one eye, I still have it but it’s pretty much useless.
guys a target is seen only by one eye only.2 eyes if u see thn ur targets should be miss.think tht u r lucky🖕
I admire you and thank you for speaking out
My baby is 5 months old born with out his left eye your videos have really helped me understand what the future holds for him. Thank you x
I would’ve never thought that’s not your eye what an amazing prosthetic! You are a natural beauty and I am so happy you are cancer free I’m so inspired by your positivity in this video. Hoping the best for you and your channel!
aw thank you babe!! i appreciate all you just said! thank you!
Really happy you’re okay. Cancer is such a bitch, but you’re so lucky you overcame it. Keep spreading the positive vibes. I really admire people like you!
THANK YOU LOVE! I ADMIRE YOU!
“Why would I eat spaghetti standing up” is the main concern. I relate 😂
The Girl In The Shadows 😂😂😂
I’m one of those people who normally can tell right off the bat if someone is humble/ a good person and I get the BEST vibes from you! YOURE BEAUTIFUL and your humbleness/personality makes you even more pretty. Be well , xoxo❤️
:,) thank you so much babe! i honestly with i had that gift cause i've had some horrible exes hahaha
Man, I love how people is being more open about this kind of things that can make you look "less perfect", but for me is amazing real people share their experiences, I'm really glad that people like you don't try so hard to fit in a society that can be so shallow some times.
i agree! "perfection" isn't a thing and shouldn't be the goal for someone. i'd rather be my imperfect self than anyone else :) thank you for all your kind words! xo
You're beautiful ! And you're so strong! You've got beautiful eyes ! I'm glad you're cancer free ☺ You go girl !
Hi Diana,
My name is Luna, I’m 13, and seeing your videos about your eyes have just giving me this comfort of knowing someone is the same as me and it just makes me feel less alone.
I am so glad found your channel so she can get some inspiration from a beautiful person whom she can relate with 💕 thank you for sharing
aw yay! hope you show her the video! that makes me so happy!! :)
I love learning about you and your beautiful eyes
HeyApril 🤗💛
You’re still a beautiful woman.
thank you!
Crazy, I couldn't tell which eye was fake I wouldn't have really noticed it honestly. Super informative video
Claudia Reyes thank you love!
Diana Moore 😘❤
I'm an optometry student and just the other day I saw a patient with a prosthetic eye. Some of the prosthetics look absolutely amazing, kudos to the ocularists. It's cool to hear the personal story from a patient's perspective. Keep up with the positivity!
ah yay! thank you for your kind words!!!
that's awesome you make video about it, I know this guy who also got an fake eye and sometimes he got "tears" or fluid (I'm not sure) that comes of from the side he got his eye removed. I wanted to ask him questions but he seems a bit shy about it, so I don't talk about it (not like it's a big deal)
And I couldn't stop thinking about the guy from Pirates of Caribbean who constantly loose his eye.
Wow! You REALLY shouldn’t give those bullies a second thought! You are a strong, intelligent, stunning human who is an inspiration to so many. You keep making videos and know how many young people you are helping, who are in the darkest place. Much respect to you x
wow i really appreciate it! seriously. it means a lot to hear this. my main goal is to help so to even be close to doing so means the world to me!
Keep making videos! You are a legend 😘👍💪
I literally would not have had any idea it was fake if the title didn’t say so! It looks so real!!😍 you’re so cute😍😍
thank you babe!
You are just a brave young woman god bless you..!
thank you!
I am losing my eye and you are giving me so much hope. You look beautiful and are very strong for making these videos. .
Stay true 💗
Your everything. You have so much courage. I’m glad your cancer free. Much respect.
You slay with or without makeup! Much respect for sharing your story, glad they found it on time and that you are cancer free. Blessings from Puerto Rico 🙏🏼
thank you love!
Beautiful video and person. Thanks for sharing. ❤️ my step dad passed from cancer a year ago. So happy to hear you’re cancer free.
I am a medical student.... I just read retinoblastoma and enucleation for my test..... Thanks for sharing ur life after prosthetic eye so openly....
More power to you girl! ❤️💪🏻
i literally forget about it, it looks so realistic 💜
Ele same
Thank you for sharing your story!
I legit thought the fake one was the real one until u pointed it out! Science is incredible! You’re amazing
YOU ARE SUCH AN INSPIRATION. YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL! Please don’t let anyone tell you any different
thank you so much!!!!! xoxoxo
You're physically and mentally gorgeous! You're a great role model for any human! Keep it up 😗
My grandfather has a prosthetic eye too that happened at the same age as you.
you are amazing, never forget that!
I am not looking for perfection but if mine looks anywhere near as good as yours does then I am more that happy I can deal with that so thank you for the video and I have also looked up your Instagram page and followed you and sent you a message 😉😂😂😘
All my life I have had 20/20 vision but about 4 months after this injury the vision in my good eye started going blurry and after about 4 days I was almost blind so I was straight back to the hospital. At first my dosage was high but the last time I had an appointment everything was perfect and the doctors reduced my dose which is a good thing :)
You also look great in your photos and that is one thing that I would not do right now because my prosthetic really really stands out and looks bad but yours looks great so after Friday when I get my new one I hope to be able to take photos again.
Thank you! I hope it will too! I appreciate your kind words, much much love!
Thank you for sharing. You are beautiful inside and out💖
I love your energy and personality, you’re nice to listen to. I work with a guy who was in a car accident and now has one fake eye as well. I enjoyed learning a bit about this.
thank you so much! and woah crazy about your friend! happy to hear he's okay!
You are an angel! Your strength shines through and it’s amazing. God bless you ❤️
thank you babe!
You are so genuine and sweet! Thank you for being real and open with your past and what you go through everyday! Lots of love!
thanks girl!!
You are so unbelievably pretty! I always notice people's eyes when I first see them and both of yours is gorgeous
thank you!
Thank you so much for doing this video. My right eye is my prosthetic too!
I literally had no idea which eye was prosthetic till she said- amazing! Glad you are okay x
You're so humble ...you look beautiful inside and out..
hey girl, I just want to thank you so much for speaking so honestly about your experience! I'm so excited to get my prosthetic as it will be a lot more natural looking than what I have now but I'm also so nervous! your video has really put me at ease on what I would call one of my down days. you're absolutely stunning and I want to thank you for flipping my day around xo
aw yay i'm so excited for you!!!
You are absolutely gorgeous. Fake eye or not. You are beautiful and don't let anyone get you down!
thank you so much!
You look amazing! My mom had her eye removed in her early 20s, she had a tumor. I always forget she has a prosthetic eye but I totally recall seeing her “old” eyes in her drawers 😂😂. She had her eye made in PHX AZ and it looks amazing.... 👍🏼
haha i love showing my eyes to my friends! haha. so happy your mom is okay now!
Diana Moore tnx u! She’s done well so you will definitely be the same 😘
So much respect for you.💜💜 I have an online friend from iceland shes around 30(im 26 in case youre curious).she has a fake eye too.she had eye cancer and would bleed a lot.
YAY! that's happened to me before!!! lol. I always forget the names of some of the people i've seen! i hope i find them soon lol!
Diana Moore I spent my day binge watching your videos omg
I don't understand how others can bully such a beauty as you. You're so brave and gorgeous inside out. Hope you're well, I wish you all the best, GBU
You are an inspiration. And this video made me so grateful for what I'm blessed with. Keep doing what you're doing
I got retinoblastoma too . And now im 22 years old . Glad to see this vidio . U make me more confidence and realize that im not alone
Xoxo
DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT,AND BE WHO YOU ARE STAY CONFIDENT.BECAUSE YOUR SO BEAUTIFUL.AND I THINK YOU ARE PERFECT JUST THE WAY YOU ARE.
I am hoping you answer me po :)
I never had a fake eye but I have had 3 corneal transplants in my left eye. I had a bacterial infection and lost almost all vision in it. People always got creeped out because my eye would always be red. I know it’s not exactly the same thing. Thank you for talking about this
You are amazing and inspiring. Thank you so very much for posting this. The internet is so much better for it
Nice to know I’m not the only one who has a fake eye
"Why would I eat spaghetti standing up?!"
LOL😂😂😂😂😍 You're awesome
haha gotta make jokes about it! :P
So first, blessed that you beat cancer. And your eye movement is pretty good, i hope mine will turn out this good.
I was born completely blind. Apparently my retinas were detached.so soon after i was born closer to when i was a year old i had cryo surgery to reattach my retinas. I am legally blind. People tend to forget about my sight issues because i get on so well. Looking at me you wouldnt know. Which i guess is why they tend to forget. Hopefully you dont mind me sharing 💜.
oh wow what an amazing story! i'm so happy to hear that you are doing better now!
Diana Moore thanks sweetie. 💜As good as i can be.
Hi, I also have a prosthetic eye, I was in a bad accident and was shot and lost my left eye, I now have a prosthetic eye but yours looks so good !
New subbie by the way 😊
yay thank you! :)
