Venturi Larrousse. Footwork. Fondmetal. These machines were so gorgeous. Back then, even the small teams gave a damn how their cars looked. Seems like little or no imagination goes into most of the current liveries.
I went to the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal from 1986 all the way up to 2004 (except 1987) before I moved away, I owned many Yamaha R1's, Mercedes C63 AMG's plus severeal other sports car and lots of my friends have crazy cars & bikes BUT I can tell that THIS LAMBO F1 SOUND in the Larousse (and others such as Lotus @ the end of the 80' - beginning of 90's) is the SWEETEST thing I EVER heard to date, period!!!

This is awesome! This was my first grand prix and this pre-qualifying session was the first time I saw and heard an F1 car in person. I am pretty sure the chicane that you are filming at is where Ukyo Katayama spun at one point during the pre-qualifying session.
Christopher Miller I have some coverage of Friday practice and Saturday qualifying. I’ll upload when I get a chance. I just moved into a new house a few weeks ago and I’m still getting organized.
Morenos car had a Judd V10 borrowed from Team Brabham, as mr. Sassetti had failed to pay the engine bills. I wonder how the negotiations for an engine borrow from another team went and how much did Brabham charge for the loan

considering brabham went bankrupt a few weeks later, they probably forgot to charge
