This is exactly why more teams should be allowed to compete in F1. In the modern era it''s harder to apreciate how difficult is is to even get a car to finish last, not to mention the lack of controversy.

not only thrown out due to disrepute but also other sketchy stuff done by the team like broken car sent out anyway. worst team ever around for sure and most hated team principal on top of that.

With respect to the French truck strike, I suspect Sassetti didn't want to get around the picket line. I can't see a self-respecting French trucker stopping Formula One trucks. Yes, French strikes tend to be militant (bunch of work-shy lamb-burning communist peasants), but there are limits.
