  • Starting from Cáceres, I walked to Caser de Cáceres. It was too hot to walk the additional 20 miles to Cãnaveral, so I took a cab. The Albergue I stayed in was spacious and peaceful. In this video, I interview a woman who has walked many caminos. All in all, I’m delighted to be back on the trail and with other like-minded people.
This travel vlog is part of a larger series documenting my challenge: the Camino Via de la Plata. Starting in Seville, Spain, and walking north, I'm breaking up this journey to fit my vacation schedule. I hope it inspires you to embark on your adventure. Remember, if I can do it, you can too!
    Distance walked: 8 miles.

00:40,Well, in Spanish "casar" is effectively the action of getting married, but it also has another meaning, derived from the word "casa" (house), it would be an area where in the past there would be a group of buildings, which, although far from Caceres, were administratively linked to the city, probably in the Middle Ages.
