- Join me on a 1000km journey that runs the length of Spain and leads to the ancient pilgrim mecca of Santiago de Compostela. One of the longest Caminos, the Via de la Plata is a challenge with much reward.
I am comforted by the idea of leaving in the early Spring from real southern Spain by your video..especially concerning the heat.
Brilliant - thank you. Been wanting to do this since studying in Seville many, many years ago. Thanks for the inspiration.
Amazing video, helpful information and wonderful drone- takes! Love it!❤
That's great - I hope you get the chance to do it! Buen Camino
excellent video thanks- i’m going to walk this after watching- instead of just repeating the frances which i was very tempted to do.
Buen camino and I hope the weather is kind!
Thanks for the vid! If I were to walk this route, I'd choose the Sanabres to avoid the crowds from the Frances route. Cheers!
Fair enough! Although Astorga is well worth a visit at some point!
Very helpful thanks Cole.
You're welcome - buen camino !
Very nice Cheers
nice one, thank you!
Glad you liked it and Buen Camno!
Waiting for the norte video 🤠
Coming up next 😌
Is there a lot of walking on asphalt?
Hi, I don't remember so much asphalt walking... certainly not as much as on the Norte.
This is a good thread on the subject- www.caminodesantiago.me/community/threads/pavement-on-via-de-la-plata.42884/
Would September still be too hot for Via de la Plata?
It would be too hot for me. I would check average temperatures for Seville to see when it's cool enough to start
thank you!@@colesushi
