  • Aside from the well-known Camino routes, there's also a whole bunch of lesser-known ones - the "minor" Caminos. I take you through a quick tour of these so that by the end you'll know which one to try next!

    Really interesting and well done. Thanks for putting this together.
    If you ever feel like expanding the routes you cover, I walked the Via Serrana from La Línea de la Concepción to Sevilla to link up with the Via de la Plata last fall, a wonderful 10-day trek, and plan to walk the six-day Camino de Uclés next Spring from Uclés to Madrid before commencing the Camino de Madrid. Certainly the Via Serrana deserves more attention that it has received so far.

    Thank you for the info! Very useful. I haven't heard of the others but I've seen great vids of the San Salvador and Primitivo from "Walks with Efren". Cheers and safe travels!

      Probably one of the least-known. Well done for getting un-lost !

    El mapa no es correcto: el Camino de la Lana comienza en Alicante y fue señalizado así desde 2001 (no empieza en Valencia). Por ello da una información que no es correcta. Debería ser corregido pues confunde a los peregrinos.

      Thanks Pedro, I was just going by Gronze - www.gronze.com/ruta-lana. I guess it means that you could start on the Camino of the Levante at Valencia then switch to the Lana before Cuenca. But you're right, everyone seems to say it does start in Alicante!

      El Camino de la Lana está mal descrito en Gronze.
      En tu mapa, el Camino que comienza en Alicante debería a estar todo en color verde hasta Burgos.
      Por el contrario, desde Valencia hasta Monteagudo (cerca de Cuenca) debe de ir en color azul pues no se llama Camino de la Lana sino Camino de Requena (es uno de los 8 afluentes que se unen en varios puntos al Camino de la Lana).

    great video. i am doing a camino walk this year and was wondering which walk is the flates and best for a beginner. i can do the walk from madrid, seville, cadiz or malaga.

    • @colesushi
      @colesushi  Год назад

      I think it mainly depends on how far you would like to walk. If you walk from Madrid, it might be quieter at first but there'll be more people around once you hit the Camino Frances - this contrast might be good to experience. I think there'll be less people around starting from Cadiz/Malaga that from Seville...
