My husband and I moved to a large retirement community on the eastern border of Santa Rosa, CA. Our backyard fence is the border of Kenwood and a vineyard on the other side. Bruce Cohn who was the Doobie's manager has a vineyard and olive ranch in Glen Ellen next to the border of Kenwood. BR Cohn Vineyard hosted a fundraiser every Oct on their property and we could hear the singing from our backyard though not the words to the songs. They moved the annual event to a larger venue in Sonoma in 2016. The Doobies became very special to me after we moved here - they were our local celebs and wonderful people. Bruce retired from being their manager a few years ago and also sold the vineyard on his property.
