Mulheres lindas, dançando, se divertindo e sendo mulheres. Não havia a necessidade de apelar pra vulgaridade e nem de fingir o que não são. O objetivo era simplesmente se divertir! Onde estavam os celulares? Onde estavam os influencers? Onde estavam as redes sociais? As pessoas não precisavam fingir pra agradar os outros ou ganhar likes. Vivíamos muito melhor e éramos muito mais felizes com a nossa simplicidade e autenticidade. 👏🏽👏🏽

My husband and I moved to a large retirement community on the eastern border of Santa Rosa, CA. Our backyard fence is the border of Kenwood and a vineyard on the other side. Bruce Cohn who was the Doobie's manager has a vineyard and olive ranch in Glen Ellen next to the border of Kenwood. BR Cohn Vineyard hosted a fundraiser every Oct on their property and we could hear the singing from our backyard though not the words to the songs. They moved the annual event to a larger venue in Sonoma in 2016. The Doobies became very special to me after we moved here - they were our local celebs and wonderful people. Bruce retired from being their manager a few years ago and also sold the vineyard on his property.

I did get lucky hooked up with a girl that looked like Stevie Nicks from Fleetwood Mac. Also got a union job 2 weeks after graduating. And being IRISH I knew my limits with Alcohol. Whats with todays singers they sing 1 good song & there considered a Superstar. Im so IRISH all 3 names are IRISH JAMES PATRICK O'GRADY. HA HA I still listen to Partridge Family music. ERIN GO BRAGH

No intimate venues like that exist anymore pretty much, and these were some of the best and with the Doobies connections to rock ‘n’ roll every great old school musician and band appeared and played at these incredible annual fall music festivals

I remember the band from the Chateau days...an old restaurant turned bar in the Santa Cruz mountains that was a popular hangout for local Hells Angels and Gypsy Jokers, the Doobie Bros were kinda the unofficial house band I guess around 1970. I think those gigs launched their career. I never saw those shows, having been a guest of the San Mateo County criminal justice system for much of 1970. I lived in SJ in the 60's-early 70's and recall hearing the band practicing at their place on S 12th St a few times. Crazy times.

@@JoseHerrera-vs8nv Montrose! I listened to them in 1975 in San Francisco. They rocked. We went to the Friday night concerts at Winterland and saw Journey, the Doobie Brothers and so many more for $6 bucks and three bands.

Still sound amazing as always!! When I was a kid my mother T short for Trish, father and I lived right next door to these gentlemen in New Orleans for a while , as you can imagine there was a lot of barbecue chicken cold beer and music as well as day spent swimming out in the bayou. Nowadays even long after they've moved on their music Still inspires me , it was the beginning for me and it's the primary reason I pick up the guitar every single day until my fingers are bruised. Huge respect for these gentlemen. Still love that ol black water
