Thank you all so much for making this an unexpected favorite of the channel! This compilation contains re-edited dubs of Episodes 1 and 2 as well as new Hollowtale stuff exclusive to this video. And don’t worry, there will be more Hollowtale to come in the future!

It takes me 30 minutes to get past the mantis village to deep nest, I feel the need to bow to EVERY. SINGLE. ADULT. MANTIS.

@@LocalLawnChair not really? The outer black area that makes up his body is his carapace, his exoskeleton. Void is on the inside and seeps through. How do I know this? Well, the elder bug isn't made of void, yet his exoskeleton is also mostly black.
The knight is already disturbing as it is I wasn't thrown off by it

This is just the best Crossover AU I have ever seen. The mystery behind to why Knight is there in the first place and the connection of the Void with the three adds onto it and makes it more intense.
Not to mention that that the characters are very in-character, Papyrus actually being smart and sans not being serious all the time.

i think it has something to do with the godmasters and pantheons
ok so you know the binds that you can have in pantheons we them over the health bar
now it could be hes binded his stamina or something could have happened with him using soul and health binds maybe he idk falls in a spike pit and then falls down a regular pit landing unconscious in the binbag area since his binds are on and he thinks hes still in the pantheon he thinks sans is an enemy and so he stabs him
seeing actual reason (although the critters of hallownest have their own language it would be kinda shit if neither could understand each other) he realises hes most likely not in hallownest leading into these events

Nailmaster, Mark of Pride, Quickslash, and Unbreakable Stregth. That's a pretty top nottch combination ghost has there.
I think nailmaster and quickslash together are weak. You want atack normaly OR use nailarts

I was originally wondering how the knight could feel emotions in the comic, but now I’m pretty sure the Radiance’s influence is what is causing the knight to have them, or perhaps the knight having emotions is what caused the Radiance to not be fully contained. Overall really interesting!
I think they can, due to the fact that they’re infected, which can only happen if they aren’t truly hollow

You realize how much you tell on yourself by saying farts are silent right, they are not.
For those of yall that are just Undertale fans, the orange droplet the knight finds on his hand is part of a larger infection that infects all who come into contact with it and turns them into mindless zombies. The knight is a vessel, a creature created to contain the plague, and shows signs of not being completely reliable and potentially allowing for the plague to escape through its expression of emotions.

I like the detail that after he bathes, he switches his charm from Defender's crest "Causes the bearer to admit a heroic odor" To Nail master's arts.

okay, so it seems to be after the ending "Hollow Knight" or "Sealed Siblings", the knight hasn't collected it's shade, it's been restricted to 4 masks (like with shell binding), and it's starting to leak infection

Considering that the Knight notices a blob of infection coming from them I can only theorise that this au takes place after the ending where u kill the hollow knight
@Chyann 0 Some bugs bleed the orange stuff, mayby it was blood? Probably not, the knight leaks void. Maybe the radiance is sealed in them or something.
If that were the case I think that au is screwed and there's practically nothing that could stop the radiances in the world of undertale except for the that the knight that traveled from hollownest
I think they went through godmaster because of the chains and the fact that they dont have the void heart charm

A discovery/a theroy.
The reason why the Knight is limited in his supply of masks and Soul Spheres is due to undertale's system of EXP and LV. Similar to Frisk's HP. After all, soul and masks are interchangeable.
The Health is a binding
And the soil meter being broken is a reference to the player dying but not killing their shade. Why it's broken here is probably because of the knight containing the radiance but that's just my theory.

The Knight just fits here, I mean he almost looks like a skeleton. If Sans just has his black eye sockets, him and the knight look just alike. I feel like their worlds should just merge, they're both extremely beautiful and charming. Many if not all the NPCs are lovable and if they get into dangerous fights I would love to see some awesome combined combos or power forms. If there is a way to continue this please do, it's really interesting. I would love to see where it goes and how far it goes.

Just finished watching this vid. Gotta say i am damn impressed. This au is definitely something worth investing into for the future. Although..the fact that "knight" doesnt work in the same way and he may have the same powers as gaster is...interesting and worth researching. Hmm...so many questions...so much research and little time perhaps. Hopefully this "knight" will grow to like frisk and co.

Why is the Knight human sized?
so they can have actual interactions with the characters, they would be tiny if they weren't, so it would be useless for them to be there if they can't interact at all

Most useful example is the City of Tears. We all know how the City of Tears works with the Blue Lake right? Anyways and since it's as so, the water rains down below in a size relative to Humans and our rain. If they WERE bug sized, there would be gigantic drops of water.
Also, Quirrel's comic. There ARE bug sized bugs, but they are smaller than Quirrel, relative to a human to an average bug, meaning Quirrel should be an average human in size.
AND if that's still not convincing, Team Cherry said that Hornet's needle can pierce a bug from 30 yards. YARDS. Not inches or centimetres, YARDS.
@@theperfectidio1 okay, first one, maybe water's surface tension in hollow Knight ain't as high as real life's Walter surface tension.
Secondly, there're a lot of species of Bugs that are literally as Big as one's hand, which...... Yeah. Also, there're microscopic bugs that varely fit into that category.
Lastly, I can't explain that one, so what I'm about to say Will be a bit of a stretch. We see various times Hornet throw her needle and get tf out of a room through the roof, so maybe, and just maybe, in a room as Big as the city of tears (in height) or the blue lake (in length) the numbers might add up. Yeah this is a Big stretch
@@Iknowhowbadthisnameis8828 if we do think that a bug in Hallownest is as big as bugs irl, Hallownest itself isn't probably bigger than my house or with my backyard too, let alone 30 yards.
I like the attention to detail of how the knights garbage stink is the defenders Crest and the fact that the knight doesn't have the void heart which tells a story of its own

You know I was expecting the knight
to hurt him but other than that can't wait for the next one
So he has Pure Nail, Quick Slash, unbreakable strength, Nailmaster’s glory, and mark of pride. But he also has a crippled soul meter, suggesting his shade is missing. Furthermore, he appeared to have mask binding active? Maybe he got here from a pantheon that he was attempting with a shell binding. If he lost, maybe some wierd connection between the void in Undertale and HK mixed him up and sent him to the wrong dimension!
To add a few things: I saw someone else point out that he doesn’t have voidheart, suggesting that this knight had only done the first ending. Perhaps he currently has the infection contained inside of him? Maybe that’s why he is weakened, and that last scene seems like he is struggling to keep it from leaking out. He also has shade cloak and downward dark (I missed those in my first list).
