Made them and they were delicious. Instead of avocado oil I used olive oil and melted butter. I also used garlic powder instead of minced garlic and added a half teaspoon of coconut amino acids to the seasoning. I used a small bottle of Franks original hot sauce in stead of a cup.
Thanks for the tips. Question: Does it make a difference in the end product whether you use the vented pan or solid pan with foil? If it doesn't make a real difference, why would you ever not use foil, as the clean up would be so much easier? Thanks again.
Thanks for the video. I just made some without seeing this and it came out stuck to the tray. I was loosely following a recipe in the booklet that came with it. I have been using a basket type air fryer for a few years and hot wings in it always come out ridiculously perfect. I will try this next time.

Have you tried the AF basket for wings? That's what I use, along with some baking powder and they get Very crispy!!

I find the air fry oven sucks at frying chicken compared to the foodi grills. They just don’t get near as crispy.
