I love your channel. Thanks for the great and informative videos. I just bought this head and it sounds incredible. I have noticed a fairly loud popping sound when I switch from the clean to the lead channel. This happens both when pressing the channel switch button on the front of the amp or using the foot switch. Does this happen for you or anyone else, or do I have a defective amp?
I don't think I'll ever get tired of this "Absolutely amazing amps in a small relatively affordable package" trend. Like it's not cheap but the fact a lot of companies whose mainline amps are $1000+ have put out lunchboxes in the more mid-tier price range is really great. Too bad things like the Mini Rectifier and the Fireball 25 aren't in a similar price bracket.
Or the Soldano Slo 30. I know 30 watts takes it above the mark a bit (and I wish it were a 15 or 20 watt) but I think if Soldano made a 15 watt version it would be $1,300 to $1,500.
Only if they would make a version of this with a series fx loop instead of parallel. Causes major issues with how the fx sound and if you use a Fortin Zuul in the loop.

Nothing tickles my ear-holes better than a good EL34 growl!
its EL84
I could have sworn he said 34s at the beginning of the video. Figures; I'm deaf as fuck. Regardless of power tubes, point being, it's all British-growly sounding and that makes Necrobaker necrohappy.
Sounds great but I still think the Stealth 50 is more versatile and with the master volume you can enjoy it in the bedroom.
Wondering how this compares to the FORTIN sigil
I love your channel. Thanks for the great and informative videos. I just bought this head and it sounds incredible. I have noticed a fairly loud popping sound when I switch from the clean to the lead channel. This happens both when pressing the channel switch button on the front of the amp or using the foot switch. Does this happen for you or anyone else, or do I have a defective amp?
They all do that
2:50 god DAMN that’s meaty.
The 6505 50 watt blows these evh's completely out of the water with no contest
that Mesa has CV 30’s yea?
RIP Eddie!
sounds sick
Will adding mod effect pedals delay, phaser, etc in front panel effect gain stage sound? Or add to rear effect loop?
The second pedal? Did I miss it?
Aren't the EVH amps made in china as compared to Mesa being USA?
@@XzanderVillo No.Made in Mexico..its on the back panel.
Wow sweet powerchords my man!
How similar to 5150 Stealth Head does this sound?
I’m still waiting around for a MT15ii... PRS?
RIP Eddie
I listened on my phone first, so killer!
This was a Black Metal Bicycle riff right? Killer demo. Sounds great.
I think Fender is copying PRS MT 15 with the LED’s. Tremonti even said the green and red looks to much like a Christmas tree in development.
I wanted the 50w Stealth... now I want this one!
Not factoring in the two notes embedded, how does this lbx-s compare to the revv g20? Really enjoyed the vid.
It's actually the green channel from lbx 1 and the red channel from lbs 2... unless Sweetwater's website got it wrong.
you have two pedals in front - is the other pedal a noise gate?
Only if they would make a version of this with a series fx loop instead of parallel. Causes major issues with how the fx sound and if you use a Fortin Zuul in the loop.
Can anyone recommend a cabinet for this? I play in bedroom only
Can you review the Peavey incentive mh20 next?🙏 Maybe compare these two
Do these come with led’s in them or do you add them ? I got one used at guitar center for $480 and mine didn’t have that feature or it’s broken
If you bought the stealth version, the lights must be broken. If not, you probably got the first version of the LBX which didn't have lights
Did you try by going direct into the daw and using IRs?
Fluff, which do you like better, PRS MT15 or this one?
Fluff, does this new Stealth 15 watter have a loud pop going from clean to mean ? My original LBX using the footswitch would pop loud switching channels..really though it was so rare that I used the clean green channel but that pop was loud !
Mine does not
@@RiffsAndBeards Thanks for the quick reply 👍 I just ordered one..on back order now but on the list. I am so glad I saw your video demo, was looking at JVM 205H videos and yours popped up..so glad!
Did you say you can use the 15w with a 412 cab for live shows? I haven't played thru the 15w but I do own the 100w and though it is over powered I don't see a 15 pulling it off and sounds really funny. Maybe mic it but then you can mic a 1w lol
love it, i think this would be the LBX I would get if I had the means to do so!
I absolutely love mine. Zzounds and AMS offer payment plans or Sweetwater has their own card.
@@joeyvanostrand3655 Ordered mine from AMS yesterday..waiting for that shipping notice email, but shows some coming in in a few days.I hope so...I have always used their payment plans..makes it so easy to get the gear with low down and fast shipment unless gear is on back order.
Great amp but the cost vs tone doesnt warrant me switching from my 6505mh which I got for $428 new from Pit Bull Audio in Los Angeles.
Looks wise it reminds me of the PRS MT15
Not sure if I should get this one, the stealth, or the Invective MH
This one is the stealth. Unless you meant the 50w? If so I'd go for the 50w since it has 3 channels. But if two channels and lower wattage are fine for you, I'd go with the Invective MH for sure. Separate eqs for clean and lead, integrated gate, tight and boost switches. You can go from 20w to 5 w to 1w. They packed a lot in this little head haha
@@bengirard1984 I plan on getting the Invective MH too..but they never come in stock.always on back order..maybe one day,one year they may get it going right and get them here to the USA,and enough to go around..thats the amp I have been waiting for, then I saw this one yesterday !
The rythem sound good but I think there no good for lead
god this sounds so good.
