2010 is the henderson moment for people that werent alive for henderson goal. I’d never be able to experience henderson goal in moment and truly get that feeling. But I got to imagine that Crosby goal was close to that feeling. And in a way my future kids won’t understand the crosby goal the same way until their moment happens. And on it will go.

It was definitely our greatest moment (those of us born after 1972) but in ‘72, we were losing to the enemy communists after being told we were going to beat them easily. Now that you’ve experienced 2020 in Canada, you have a pretty good idea what communism looks like and why we didn’t want to lose at our national sport to a country that used that garbage lifestyle!

You have to remember too as Canadians we were humiliated at the 06 olympics, we couldn’t get it together and that was a team crosby was somehow not picked for, so that made the 2010 redemption even sweeter

My son was born 2-23-02 I was watching holding him less than 24 hrs later for the first Olympic Gold in decades. A nurse gave me shit! LOL how could I not watch? Later I coached my son, great memory. Sid's golden goal was epic. Up there with '72

@@usmanbarak2615 Well it went to OT so he was pretty close to winning and it probably would of been a nice payout...thats how betting works kids ya bet on the underdog to win big. Unfortunatly it didnt work out for him but it was close because again it went to OT.

No no no, the Miracle on Ice happened when a bunch of underdogs somehow upset the powerful Soviet Union to win Gold, the 2010 Canadian were the gold medal favorites and pulled through, both great moments, but very different stories.
