The Greatest Canadian Story Ever Told

  • Ten years ago, Sidney Crosby scored arguably the biggest goal in Canadian history. For millions of kids in this country, that was before they were born, and millions more are too young to remember it. So we wrote a children’s story…about the gold medal game between Team Canada and Team USA, and about the golden goal. Here’s James Duthie with Miss Kapinski’s grade 1/2 class.

The story of Sid is unique. So many accomplishments. He has won everything. He was essential in every title he won. MVP everywhere, Golden Goal, SO Winner in first Winter Classic, youngest captain to hoist the cup. The greatest story a sportsman can deliver for all time.
