Nah it's cos when you do a natural harmonic on fretless bass and then press down and slide up the neck it creates that sound. You can hear Jeroen do it even more on Anticosmic Overload! Haha

Lead guitar on this album written and recorded by Tom Geldschläger a.k.a Fountainhead, not Rafael Trujillo.
Important to remark it on every Akroasis content out there. What a shame Mr. Kummerer.

JEDIMASTERZAK like 2 days ago he actually uploaded a playthroough of Akroasis and the solo is played really different as it seen in the video
Because the new kid was trying to "dub" hands. There a few hand synchronization fails on Akroasis video, and here in Ten Sepiroth they just CUT the difficulty solo sections of the video. But in the album is Fountainhead, no doubt of it. Watch some recently live perfomances, appart from this intro tapping section, Trujillo is not playing any leads of Fountainhead. Don't misunderstand me, Trujillo is a talented kid, just had short time to learn all the original leads.
I saw them live at Tuska Open Air and was extremely impressed by Rafael Trujillo. I didn't know Obscura very well and when I was watching I thought he would have been an original band member, not a guy who just joined and didn't write any of the solos.

I was stunned by "Akroasis" and instantly bought the album. This was next track so I had listened to it but without any intention. I recently cleaned my room found the cd. Putting it to the player, I was stunned again. How stupid I was! Every track is epic but this is the best track IMO! Thanks for creating brilliant works, support from Japan

It really is too bad.. it's become a fan favourite - they even used is a the opener on the Akroasis tour. But it didn't resonate with the average (tech) metal fan like Akroasis did??
Granted, Akroasis IS an extremely awesome song (one of my favourite Obscura songs), but I like Ten Sepiroth slightly more. It's got the melodies, riffs, basslines and beautiful clean guitars to make a classic!

So I'm I the only Obscura fan that doesn't have a hate boner for the person responsible for the band even existing at all? I Yada yada yada Fountainhead yada yada yada so he did the leads, who cares? They are good leads. Him and Steffen had creative differences, it happens.
Couldn't agree more, man. I love Tom too, but the band wouldn't exist without Steffen. A lot of band members have creative differences, it's not some great catastrophe like everyone keeps treating it like.

Seems a bit too structurally fixed (like on guitar pro), but it's a good one nonetheless.
Steffen writes all in guitar pro because of his lack of ability to play. Tom absolutely does not, all the solos are pretty much off the top of his head.
