New Trailhead, New Trails! - Gamehaven MTB Trails Rochester, MN

- In this video I am riding with Josh, Alec, and Spender. We are starting up at the new trailhead for Gamehaven reservoir and hitting the new downhill connecting trail and back up the uphill trail. We also hit the couple new doubles on the Middle Trail.
The new trailhead is rad with a ton of paved parking, disc golf, paved paths, good signage, and a unique playground. You only see a snippet of it in this video, but it's a damn nice addition to the outdoor recreation life here in Rochester, MN.

Always a good plan to make the climbing trail separate from the downhill. Sick little addition!
It just keeps getting better and better out there! And there’s more in the works as we speak!
I was there earlier in the summer for the first time. I didn't know where the trail head was so I started where this connector is. Man that is a fun little downhill section! But after that I was totally lost around there for a hour then had I had to walk my fat ass back up it to get to my vehicle.
So we are working in getting signage up there next spring! Hopefully it will be easier to navigate then! That first descent is a major blast! Do you have Trailforks app at all? That can be a lifesaver until you know your way around.
@@Tkolbo_ I do but I forgot my phone. I'll have to go again before the snow flies. I work in Austin so it's not like its that far of a drive.
They just added a new black trail as well!
Yes they did! Me and a couple other RASC folks are riding/filming it this weekend to get a good trail preview video up! I’ll tell you this, “Entry Fee” is a super fun trail and quite different from the rest of the trails there.

Always good to see a trail expand and evolve. Liking those doubles and the descent on the new connector trail. Who’s building and maintaining the trails btw?
There is an amazing expansion in the works right now. It’s going to be amazing! Doubt it will be ready this season unfortunately. The trails are built and maintained by RASC (Rochester Active Sports Club)

Where is the trailhead. Followed directions in MTB project AP which took me to a dead end road closure and then to the closed Boy Scout camp and another road closure.
Oh shoot…I’m sorry to hear about that! There is a lot of construction happening there right now. Did you get a ride in at all?
