My favorite vintage ribbon mic. I have had RCA 44s, 74s. Western Electric ribbon mic. My BBC Bronze is the finest vocal mic. Gorgeous tone. Right from the BBC in the 50s. Bravo.

This thing on drums is some of the most insane tone I've ever heard.

Nice demonstration covering different styles and instruments/vocals. Exactly the kind of thing your customers need. I agree though that the preamps or chains used would be a nice addition, maybe as an addendum video so you can still focus on the product, but then have an additional aside that discusses which preamps work best with a particular mic.
    Keep up the great work!!!

There's got to be some EQ on these, right? You guys got an amazing tone (and I prefer to listen to ribbon mics with a little top end added, as that's how I'd use them in the real world too), but most other demos I've heard have been a lot darker.

I always loved the warm sound of a ribbon. Shame I never bought one. Got to save some $ and hopefully one-day! :-)
    Thanks for posting!

What preamp's were used? I've used them before but I'm really impressed with ALL the sounds y'all got. Maybe I just need to use them more.

Sounds incredible on everything you put it on! Sure would have loved to hear it used for the spoken intro... it's kind of amazing how no one on youtube will talk into a mic built for broadcasting spoken word. (Also would've happily lived without the fake reverb, makes me wonder what other processing you might have done without saying anything.)

Great vocal performance, but the mic is just not good for vocals.
Too much clarity is sacrificed. It's great for smoothing something like a violin or trumpet, but it's seldom the case that vocals need to be smoothed in the same way.
Vocals should keep their granularity, detail, and presence typically.
Even if you are singing in a 'vintage' style and you want your vocals to sound warm. They still need to cut through, not be smoothed out.
