Hi, I'd like to apply for both the 189 and 190 visas. Do I need to create two different accounts to lodge the Expressions of Interest (EOIs) - one for the 189 and another for the 190?
States may have their own rule of of accepting EOI so I would submit multiple EOIs. Check this out: www.nsw.gov.au/visas-and-migration/news-and-updates/submitting-your-eoi-skillselect#:~:text=To%20be%20considered,EOIs%20in%20SkillSelect.
Hi, I have a quick question. I have a bachelor's degree in Communication Information back in my country, then I came to Australia to study certificate 3 in carpenter, which is not related to my bachelor's degree. Can I still claim 15 points for education points when I'm going to apply for the carpenter occupation list?
Thanks for the detailed guide, I have a accounting bachelor degree which was accepted by CPA Australia for skill assessment. Also, I have completed chartered accounting qualification. Can i add my CA qualification in education list (CPA skill assessment is not based on CA) ? if i can include what is the type of education can be selected from the dropdown list?
I assume, it could be mentioned on the completion letter or transcript. or this link may help: www.aqf.edu.au/help-qualifications/accreditation-and-certification-qualifications
When I try to submit this time, it shows this error. Can you tell me why I face this problem? I filled up the same as you because I am a developer, but I have not yet had a skill assessment and an English language test result. this error: You must remove the Skilled - Nominated (Subclass 190) (Permanent) visa subclass to submit the EOI. Error: Please refer to the Visa type summary section for more details.
I believe, skill assessment is required as it asks for date of assessment and reference number and same applies for English language test too. Those might have caused error. Or try filling form from beginning again.
If you select multiple visa subclasses or states (including 'Any'), your EOI will be disqualified. You may submit multiple EOIs in SkillSelect. Can you explain what this mean? Does this mean we have to submit new EOI for each visa class?
As per my understanding, both options are valid since they are on the form. However, Many would say selecting state nominated visas have different criteria in each state so submitting another EOI may mitigate the risk of being disqualified. For example, check this out : www.nsw.gov.au/visas-and-migration/news-and-updates/submitting-your-eoi-skillselect#:~:text=Subclass%20and%20State%20Selection&text=If%20you%20select%20multiple%20visa,submit%20multiple%20EOIs%20in%20SkillSelect.
thanks for the video, I just have a quick question. I put my partner's skill assessment including competent English but the problem is I didn’t get the point extra when i submitted his positive skill assessments along with competent English. Do you have any idea why i didn’t get 5 points extra?
@@AlphaOmega345 Congratulations :). If you don't mind could you tell what visa type did you get (491, 190 or 189), what occupation, which state and how to did it take to get invitation (from EOI submission to receive invitation). I applied last year as developer/programmer and still not getting invitation.

Do i have to put date from the beginning of certificate and completion of master degree total of 2 years. Another question is where can i find reference number for skill assessment. Do you have the Vid after the EOI invite. lodging the VISA?
Which one should I submit first: Canberra matrix or EOI on skill select. Thanks
Well both are needed. I would submit EOI first making sure I meet the requirement to submit visa then Canberra matrix.

Should I engage a agent or doing it alone ourselves would be suffice?

QUICK QUESTION, WHERE CAN WE SEE THE TOTAL POINTS CALCULATED ON EOI?
Once EOI is submitted, the points breaks down file can be downloaded from the site.
